Alannah grew up in the south of Ireland beside the sea. She still calls this beautiful part of the world home. She lives with family and assorted pets some of the time and has been writing all her life. As a goal for her thirtieth birthday she began submitting work to competitions and publishers and has had moderate success. Every day in the writing cave is a learning day. She is supported by her fellow writers in the UCW group who met online and went on to forge real world friendships. When not writing Alannah is involved in amateur drama, public speaking and she works in the area of education.
