Carolyn is divorced and living a vanilla life. While she is drawn to BDSM as a submissive, she does not want to jump right in. She finds an outlet to explore through a world called Other Existence. There she meets Dave, and Air Force Lieutenant colonel. They spend a long time chatting online before meeting. When Dave has to leave for work, Carolyn is torn with how to deal with his absence. This book showed the right way to meet someone online. I really liked that Carolyn was not brainless. She took the time to get to know Dave before meeting him, and then it was in a public place. My only problem was I did not feel the connection between the characters. There was chemistry but I had a hard time seeing these two characters together long term. The sex scenes were hot and spicy. Overall, I really liked the story. I found it hard to believe that this story was only 35 pages long. It felt like a much longer story. I have not read anything by Isabella Olivia Ellis before and I am defiantly picking up more books by her in the future.
