Knights of the Temple, 1
Kadence paints images that haunt her dreams, choosing to post them on Deviant Art to share. She’s contacted by the mysterious Michel, a man of wealth and means. He buys her work at substantial prices and demands to meet her. The towering Frenchman then turns on his thick charm.
Michel is not alone. His friend Gabriel is every woman’s fantasy. After the initial shock, she can’t resist their dual charms and chooses to spend one, wild night in their arms.
When their night together is interrupted by a vicious attack, she soon learns the men are more than they seem. They drag her into their dangerous world under the guise of protection, although they do not completely trust her—she is marked by the enemy.
Running for their lives, they’re forced into close confines. Will Kadence succumb to both men—or will she lose them along the way?
Be Warned: menage (MFM) sex, anal sex, bondage.
“So I’m right.” She looked away, but not before he saw the hurt on her face.
He saw her reflection in the glass window and wanted to ease the ache from her. His hands moved of their own accord and went to her shoulders, rubbing them in hopes of calming her. Her body immediately stiffened to the touch, but she slowly melted into his hands. His gentle ministrations had their desired effect. A rush of desire swelled through him at the simple gesture, his need to pull her close and ravage her screaming in his ears.
Gabriel knew that Michel would not approve. Casting a quick glance across the car, he found Michel sitting with his eyes open, quietly watching the interaction between them. His gaze was hooded, observing seemingly enough to enthrall him. Their stares met, a look of understanding instantly zipped between them. They were both slaves to her call.
Gabriel turned again to Kadence, feeling her relaxing further to his touch. He spied her neck. Soft tendrils of her coppery hair flowed from the quick chignon she’d put in. The thin column of flesh was so enticing. His mouth moved to it of its own accord. He placed his lips just under her hairline and felt her stiffen once more. Continuing to massage her shoulders, she melted soon after.
He stole another kiss, laying it tentatively. She did not stiffen the second time, but rather arched her neck back to better receive his touch. It was a move of acquiescence and all the permission he needed to venture further.
Moving closer to her, he pulled her back to his chest and gathered her into his arms, kissing the tender flesh of her neck and ear. Her breathing had quickened, and he felt her rapid heartbeat against his lips. He pulled away the soft jacket he’d put on her the night before, bearing her further to his tongue. The ripe swell of her breasts above her bodice could be admired from his vantage point, looking over her shoulder. He gently cupped the flesh and molded it to his fingers as he tasted every inch of her his mouth could reach.
He lowered one hand to the edge of her dress, pulling it up her creamy thighs. Her panties were long gone. They’d cloth her once they reached Monaco. There had been no time to worry about undergarments on their harried escape. As he pulled the fabric higher, he began to see the shadow of her sex appear. Breath hitched in his lungs, he needed to see her once more. Touch her. Taste her. As the shaved mound became apparent, he took in air on a hiss.
Once he caught sight of the pink flesh, pearled already with her juices, he could no longer resist. He lowered himself to the floor, resting on his knees as he widened her thighs, pushing her back to the seat. Catching her eyes for a brief moment, he lowered his head to sample a little of her bliss.

Michel and Gabriel have given their lives to the Knights of Templar, even when the King and Pope betrayed them on that fateful day. The goddess Gaia selected Michel and Gabriel to be a part of her army of Immortals to keep the peace on Earth from all beings. It has been noted that a time will come when Gaia's men will need the demi-goddess' help in the upcoming battle of good and evil. Kadence's move to NYC bought about dreams of a man that she had to capture in her art. For two years Kadence has sold portraits of a man she never met to a buyer online. Finally Kadence gets a message from Michel to meet. Kadence wants to see if the voice on the phone is as sexy in person and she agrees. Kadence gets the shock of her life when she sees the table set for three and the mysterious guest is the man of her dreams.
Deviant Knights is the first in the Knights of the Temple series. Kadence is a mixture of innocence and vixen in an extremely cute package. When Michel and Gabriel join the story, there is an instant connection between Kadence and her men. Gabriel and Michel have shared women for as long as they have known each other, but with Kadence they don't want to share. An evening meant for pleasure pulls Kadence into a world that can't be explained. I enjoyed the fast pace of the story with the mixture of intrigue and sexual chemistry between the three. It was difficult to determine who I enjoyed more, Michel or Gabriel, but I agreed with Kadence...I want both of them all of the time! My only regret is that I didn't get to know much about Gabriel's back story. Hopefully this will change in future books. Deviant Knights is an awesome start to the Knights of the Temple series and I can't wait for the rest of the stories to come out.

Kadence spends her days painting the image of a man who haunts her dreams. After she posts her work on Deviant Art, she finds an exclusive buyer, Michel. He finally talks her into meeting him to sell the most recent painting. She is shocked when she shows up and Michel is there with the man from her dreams, Gabriel. She throws caution to the wind and decides to spend one night with them. That night is interrupted when they are attacked by sword wielding men. Forced to run for their lives, Kadence is taken on a frantic trip across countries. Will the men be able to protect her?
The minute I heard about this book, I just knew I had to read it. Templar Knights, Illuminati and the beginning of a new series? I was sold. When you throw in the idea of literally "meeting the man of your dreams", I just had to read this book. There is a lot of history and mythology involved in the Templars and Illuminati. Thankfully, Ms. O'Hurley gives us just enough to intrigue us and further the story without boring or overwhelming. I was hooked from page one and read this book straight through without stopping for breath. The fast pace and mystery had me reaching the last page in shock. I couldn't believe it was already over.
The character development and of course, the introducing of other characters, which I am sure we will be seeing in the future books, was done without bogging down the story or leaving me feeling like I was missing something. And can I just say, BRAVO. The main protagonist is a woman as is the all-powerful being. In this story, the men are the immortal protectors and the women are goddesses. Go Girl Power! It's not thrown in your face or anything, but as I sat back and reflected on the book, to write the review, I realized how pivotal a part the "female" played in this book. Of course, the men are all still badass alphas, just like I like my romantic heroes. I can't wait to see where this series goes from here. So go ahead and read the first book in the Knights of the Temple series. I hope you like it as much as I did.

Deviant Knights is an intriguing tale about two Templar knights fighting an immortal battle against the Illuminati. Over the course of several hundred years, they have become jaded and hardened to women and love, but one woman may change that fact for Michel and Gabriel. Unfortunately, neither of them wants to share.
Ms. Hurley has done an excellent job creating a fresh, exciting tale of love big enough for two…or three. The plot is highly entertaining, the setting is exotic, and the sex is erotic. I cannot wait for the next installment. And, I hope to get the story of the healer somewhere along the way!

Just the title, Deviant Knights, had me think wicked thoughts and what a wonderful surprise this book was. If you enjoy reading about Knights in Shining Armor, this isn’t the book for you. Yes, it’s about “knights” but the “Templar Knights”, immortal beings sworn to protect the good. Created by Gaia to battle the Illuminati, the demon hordes that arise from Hell, they do battle and so much more. Now, before you go thinking that this is some kind of historical book…….think again!
Set in modern day with flashbacks to times-gone-by, this book did not disappoint. Right from the beginning, you knew there was going to be a mystery to solve and lots and lots of sex. Kadence, Gabriel and Michel are one steamy menage and Kadence cannot decide who to trust or who to love. She finds herself whisked across the world to help in the battle. She finds herself thrown into the battle when they realize that she is one of Gaia’s creations, one of five demi-goddesses put on earth to help in the battle against the Illuminati. What they don’t know is how she fits in. Now, take all this and bring in Michel’s past and you have a wonderful story of love lost, love found, lust and trust.
Deviant Knights catches you right from the beginning. From Kadence finding the man of her dreams to Gabriel willing to give up the woman he loves to Michel having to battle through his trust issues, this book delivers. The book kept moving and had me waiting to see what was going to happen next, who was going to show up and how Kadence was going to handle all that was thrown at her. I was not disappointed in the least. I am looking forward to the next installment of the Knights of the Temple. If the ending in the book is any indication, it should be very interesting!
