Elsa Quinn has been bullied for being fat all her life. On the start of her new year of school, she makes a decision. She is going to lose weight. Elsa joins a gym out of town to ensure it's top secret.

Noah Stewart lives for exercise. When he wants to relax, he works out, pumps weights, and runs to clear his head. After an embarrassing scene by his crazed ex, Noah decides to exercise in a gym a town over. When he meets Elsa, it seems too good to be true. He can’t let her out of his life when he knows he can help her—even though she's already perfect to him. Striking up a deal, he'll help Elsa get in shape, and in return she will keep his new gym a secret.

Day after day, week after week, it’s hard for Noah to not see how beautiful Elsa is. He’s struggling to keep his hands to himself, and when he finally claims her, he doesn’t want to keep it a secret. Noah wants the world to know Elsa belongs to him.

What will happen when their peers find out? Will Elsa be too scared to stay with Noah? Will he let her go when he sees what his ex does to her?

Excerpt:

“You’ve got to do what feels right to you, not to your mother.” He put the glass down and took a step toward her. “I’ll be with you every step of the way. I’m helping you because I couldn’t watch you torture yourself with running.”

They had soon moved from the treadmills to the pool. She’d never forget how awkward she’d felt when she had to go to the main pool. He’d been in boxer briefs, and the modest one-piece costume she had didn’t hide enough for her liking. She’d spent most of the time in the pool underneath the water so no one saw her, especially Noah. His thoughts about her concerned her. No guy had ever gotten this close.

Even Kim had noticed that she was distracted lately.

“Why are you being so nice to me?” she asked.

They had never been close. Sure, they had been together a lot throughout their lives. They had shared classes, teachers but never getting to know each other.

“Why can’t I be nice to you?”

“I don’t know. You’ve never taken the time to get to know me. We don’t know each other. Take your pick.”

“Our lives have never connected. I get that until this moment. I’m not going to be mean to you, Elsa. In fact I’ve done nearly everything in my power to make you as comfortable as possible. I don’t know what more you want me to do.”

Rubbing her temple, Elsa couldn’t argue with him. He was right. “You’re right, I’m sorry.”

He walked toward her and wrapped his arms around her, pressing a kiss to her temple. “Don’t worry about it. I’m here.”

She held onto him, resting her head against his shoulder. His hand rubbed her back, and the other stroked over her hair. Closing her eyes, she found herself basking in his scent, and the strength of him. Noah was a large man, and he worked out a lot.

The hug changed. It went from one of comfort to awareness, or at least to Elsa it did. Biting her lip, she chanced a look up at him, and Noah was staring down at her. The hand on her hair moved to her cheek, and he brushed his thumb across it.

“What are you doing to me?” he asked.

She didn’t have time to respond as he pressed her up against the fridge, sinking his fingers into her hair as he slammed his lips down on hers.

Elsa moaned, holding onto him by wrapping her arms around his neck.

His tongue ran across her lips, and she melted, opening her mouth to accept him. He plundered inside her, and she gasped at the contact, needing every single touch of his hands. Noah thrust his pelvis against hers, making her aware of his rock hard cock.

While he was kissing her, ravishing her mouth in ways she’d only seen in movies, his hands slowly started to descend. She should stop him, but the truth was, she couldn’t, nor did she want to. This was going to happen. She wanted it to happen, more than she wanted anything else to.

Elsa is fed up with being bullied because of her weight, so she decides to join the gym. Little did she know that her efforts to keep it a secret would be ruined when she spots Noah across the room. Author Sam Crescent delivers a quick story with a rather unfortunate title in FAT. The focus of the story is on Elsa and Noah joining forces to help with Elsa's fitness plans. As high school students, their hormones get a heavy workout. What may have started out as a project soon evolves into a storm of passion. The story itself moves along well and made me me interested in reading the next installment.

This book hit home for me in so many ways… I’ve been the fat friend for a very long time and have had it be a constant problem for others. I can relate to Elsa because just yesterday I was told I should get lypo under the guise of wanting the best for me… This story hits home for so many and made me very emotional… Elsa gets it from many places but from I experience I know it hurts more from those that are supposed to have your back… Noah is the hot jock who sees past the fluff and recognizes that Elsa is an amazing person… if only there were more people like that in the world… P.S. on a real life note…. going to the gym is scary enough and having stick figures from planet dumb ass invade your privacy is absolutely horrible and uncalled for…

Night Owl Reviews

Sam Cresent delivers a beautifully tender yet real contemporary romance. Elsa Quinn is the typical young overweight woman yet she also has a uniqueness about her that makes her endearing to the reader and Noah. Noah is the all-star, golden boy. Almost every girl wants him and almost every guy wants to be like him. I enjoyed how the author didn’t tone down his young man hormonal characteristics, his thoughts actions and speech made him all the more real. As a curvy girl myself I found it very easy to relate to Elsa and understand some of her insecurities and characteristics and I was fascinated watching her reactions to her relationship with Noah. This was a beautiful story that I would recommend to anyone who loves young love stories, however for me the main characters were just too young and I felt extremely uncomfortable reading the sex scenes. I just wish they had been a few years older as I was expecting them to be in college not high school. It’s her final year of high school and Elsa Quinn wants to lose weight to surprise her mother so she joins an out of town gym. Noah Stewart uses exercise to relax but after a scene with his ex he has to find a new gym. He is shocked to find schoolmate Elsa he offers to help her with her workouts. Soon they are more than friends but she doesn’t want anyone to know afraid of what will happen when everyone finds out

Noah's view on why Elsa is trying to lose weight is not what you would think.
Written by Emily Heisler on 13th Jun 2016

Elsa Quinn has been bullied her whole life, not just the kids at school but her mothers constant harping on weight loss has finally reached a boiling point. Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Elsa joins a gym preparing to exercise the weight off. Noah Stewart drives to another town to workout, as a football jock at school he gets inundated with his friends wanting to hang out while at the gym and he just wants to focus on working out. When he sees Elsa, he wants to know why she is there, sure he has seen her at school but he wonders if she will tell people he is here. Elsa though surprises him and realizing she has no plan, he offers to help her out. At first Elsa questions Noah's intentions but realizes he has never been part of the bullying she accepts. Noah doesn't plan on falling for Elsa though and he does, Elsa though is afraid of what going public will do. I liked this a lot. Noah's view on why Elsa is trying to lose weight is not what you would think. Elsa is vulnerable, her mother is a class act and I can understand Elsa's choices. Great read.

Awesome

Such a sweet story. Noah was strong despite his young age. I liked that he thought for himself instead of following a crowd. Elsa was sweet and I felt sorry for her but it had a happy ending.

This Story is much more then the Title. Grab it

Two people could not be so different. Elsa has been tease most of her life in school and at home. Wanting to make her Mom happy she is ready to make a change, but she didn't think it would bring one of the most popular guys in school into her life. Noah loved working but due to his Ex making a scene at his local gym he went to one on the out skirts of town. That gym will change Elsa and Noah's lives. What starts out with Noah coaching Elsa turns into something no one ever saw coming. Eyes are open and people start to see the beauty on the inside instead of outside.

This book was so good. Elsa went through all this just to have ...
Written by Fay on 12th Jun 2016

This book was so good. Elsa went through all this just to have her mother's approval so she can look like all the model types. Noah was so sweet and kept on telling her there was nothing wrong with her and she shouldn't do this to please her mother but she should do it for herself This book was sweet and totally what I think most kids go through in high school. Wanting to fit in with everyone else Sam this was another winner for me Short and sweet!

FATastic! Loved This Story So Much - Definitely A Worth While Read!
Written by Francesca - Mrs Kissmas! on 12th Jun 2016

Well Sam does it again! I have been waiting for this story and I must say I am not disappointed! I absolutely loved every word of this book! It is about a curvy girl who suffers at the hands well words of bullies because of her weight. Elsa is beautiful inside and out but doesn't see herself the way that Noah another boy from her school does which is such a shame. But after a chance meeting he offers to help her achieve her goal and the chemistry blooms from their. I loved the sweet romance that blossomed between them as their bond and relationship grew. It was a true story of love, hope, trust, believing that not all people are cruel and really can love you for the person that you actually are not who you think you should be. Absolutely Brilliant! I am also now eagerly and hopefully awaiting if Sam will write it, the story of Kim and Kurt with that delicious tease at the end that left me gasping aloud in surprise! I absolutely enjoyed every word of this story and did not want it to end, I could not put it down. Definitely a feel good romance that deserves to be read. I really hope you give it a chance and enjoy it! Happy Reading!

Amazing!
Written by carmen baldwin on 12th Jun 2016

I just LOVED this story, Sam crescent has always been one of my favorite authors but this book has to be one of my all time favorite of hers. Noah didn't see what was in front of him at first, but when he did see, it was so sweet and loving. Elsa was overweight and was made fun of and her mom thought she overweight too and so she decides to lose weight secretly, which Noah comes in to help her even if she doesn't want it at first. That when they get to know each other, the process was lovely. Their friends was another story, I hope Sam will be putting out their story very soon, I just loved Noah he was a awesome book boyfriend and Elsa I connected with her because I was fat in school she was so sweet and sassy person.

Hero is book boyfriend material. Would have loved a boyfriend like him in high school!
Written by Kindle Junkies on 12th Jun 2016

This is the Sam Crescent I love. Great, loyal, strong and protective heroes. Check. Sweet and loving heroines. Check. Great story line. Check. Safe, light hearted read. Check. Hero grows as a person and claims his girl. Double ckeck! Both hero and heroine go school together but don't run in the same crowd. They meet by chance in an out of town gym and form a friendship that builds over time. Loved how hero was sweet and protective. He wasn't afraid to stand up to his peers and be seen with heroine. Happy heroine didn't drag the drama and prevent their happiness. Loved how they did not let a bully and jelouse ex have power to affect them. Ms. Crescent did great job of not giving important to what bully did, but at how much stronger H/h became because of it. Hero was so book boyfriend material! This reminds me of the books I love by Ms. Crescent "Alpha Bully " and "Bound to be Broken". Just something about bullied heroine getting a hot guy that is not afraid stand up for her or by her that I really enjoy. Hero dominant in bed, good written love scenes. Hero is heroine's first everything:) Great read. Highly recommended. Safe read. No OW or OM. Give it 5 stars!

Hits close to home!
Written by Booklady1986 on 9th Jun 2016

Love Love Love this book! This book hit really close to home for me, having been through most everything in the book myself. Sam totally nailed the fear, the ridicule, the insecurity, and the pain. Parts of this were really hard for me to get through because it was so damn accurate and spot on. I'm new to Sam's work, but I'm definitely hooked. I cannot wait for the next one.

Awesome book
Written by Rhonda on 9th Jun 2016

Sam's books are always a pleasure for me to read. They take me out of my worries and let me live through the exciting life of others. Noah and Elsa are a perfect couple. At first Elsa didn't fight back much at being bullied but as the book went on, she started getting better about it. And I loved the fact that Noah didn't take any crap from his friends when their relationship came out in the open. I love the epilogues at the ending of Sam's standalone books like this and this was an awesome one. Now I can't wait for Kurt and Kim's story that takes place 10 years later. It's gonna be so good!!!

LOVED
Written by Neringa on 9th Jun 2016

I so couldn't wait for this book. I love this type of stories. And this one didn't disappointed. I love Noah. He was amazing in general. But the most I loved him for the way he was with Elsa. He was sexy, sweet, and supportive. I liked Elsa too. I just wish she was in fighting spirit more. That she would stand up for herself when she was bullied. But I'm glad that her fears didn’t controled her much and she didn't let the chance given to her to slip from her hands. I really hope there will be book about Elsa and Noahs friends, Kim and Kurt. I was curious about them through the book. And snippet at the ending got me so excited.
