Santa’s Naughty List by Stacey Espino is a heart felt story about a woman who lost her family as a young girl. Every year she wished for someone to truly love her. Every year Santa failed her so she ended up on his naughty list. She tried to fill the void in her life with a bunch of meaningless sex and partying. When Chris shows up on the night before Christmas eve her life is about to change. He claims he is the one Santa sends to punish the girls on the naughty list. He whisks her away to the North Pole for a delightful evening of punishment only to take her back home where she felt empty, that made her hate Santa even more. It seemed like he was just playing with her emotions. Will she ever find love or will she forever be denied her only wish? Will her childhood dreams ever be realized?

My Boys by Amarinda Jones is a paranormal tale of one woman and two supernatural beings, one an angel the other one of Santa’s elves. They both come to her as Christmas presents and they come at a time of need. She was down and depressed. Both could not be more different and both filled a different need within her. The angel was loving and filled her nurturing side, while the elf was more demanding and rough and that filled her need to be submissive. They were both exactly what she needed. Would she have to choose between the two of them? Or could they all live happily ever after?

A Christmas Curse by Ericka Scott is a haunting paranormal tale about a demon’s curse and the love that breaks it. When Amanda shows up at Frank’s door saying she lived in his apartment as a child and that she would like to come in for a look, he indulges her. Together they go about trying to solve the mystery of the apartment. They try to figure out why so many people had jumped to their suicide over the last couple of decades of Christmases. What they find out is bone chilling and they must dredge up all the courage they have to come against it. Will they break the curse before another life is taken? Or will they be too late? Will they find love? Or will one of them die?

The Little Red Ribbon by A.D. Blackburn is a story about two lost souls who are lucky to find each other at Christmas. James lost his wife a couple of Christmases ago. He found her on their floor dead. It was because of a robbery gone bad and he vowed two things...one he would avenge her death and two he would never fall in love again. Maddy lost her husband tragically on Christmas as well. She thought she would never find love again and had settled with having friends with benefits. Then Maddy’s brother introduces her to James and the sparks fly. Can they find love together? Or will it be another one night stand? Is there something bigger than Maddy’s brother bringing them together?

Once Upon a Christmas Spanking by Rachel Clark is a story about a woman who was sexually repressed. When Ali goes to her big sister’s adult party she is shocked at everything she sees and hears there. She is sent home with a goodie bag and she hides it from her husband Gregg. When she is caught with the bag it opens up a world of possibilities with her husband. Greg had taken classes to be a dom but he had hidden that side from his wife. After all she seemed to enjoy living a vanilla life. When he catches her with her bag of goodies and she admits that she would like to try some of the things her sister had told her about he agrees whole heartedly. But will it lead to disaster? Or will they find a new exciting life in the bedroom?

Yes Alana the is a Santa Claus by Seleste deLaney is a wonderful Christmas tale about a woman who stopped believing in Santa and Christmas a long time ago. When Brady shows up in her life she is totally attracted to him but skeptical because men only wanted one thing. To top it all off he said he was one of Santa’s elves and that is ridiculous. He said his goal was to get her to believe in Christmas and Santa again. Will he succeed? Or will she continue not believing in Santa or Christmas?

Carly’s Delight by Lauren Pills is a story about one of the elves in the North Pole. Holy is an elf that works in a workshop but it is not Santa’s workshop. She makes adult toys for men and women of the world. Lately she hasn’t been content with her job, inventory is lacking and business hasn’t been that great. She is also longing for a promotion to pleasure tester. When she begins to have erotic day dreams about Alex one of the male elves she knows she begins to use the toys she creates. Business begins to pick up and she wonders if there is a connection. She sets out to put her theory to the test with Alex. Has she discovered the connection? Are elves and humans truly connected somehow? Or will she lose her job due to the lack of orders?

These are just some of the delightful tales in ‘Twas a Dark and Delicious Christmas. A lot of the stories have a supernatural twist and have a lot of delicious friction. I will be looking for some of these author’s other stories. I enjoyed each story immensely and would highly recommend ‘Twas a Dark and Delicious Christmas anthology to everyone who enjoys a good erotic Christmas story. Grab a cup of hot coco or steamy apple cider and enjoy the holidays with Santa and his elves, angels, nutcracker dolls, and so many more fun and lively characters.

Santa's Naughty List by Stacey Espino

Laura-Ann only wanted one thing from Santa, but he never granted her wish, to have someone to love. On the night before Christmas she finds a strange man riffling through her panty drawer. Chris, one of Santa’s elves has been dispatched to teach Laura-Ann a lesson she soon won’t forget. She was a very naughty girl and Chris is just the man…elf to handle the job. Laura-Ann learns that through her punishment, she can fall in love with an elf. Laura-Ann realized Santa hadn’t been ignoring her all those years, not with the present he bestows upon her.

This was a cute story with a happy ending. I loved the electricity between Chris and Laura-Ann and the scenes were hot! This was a nice opening to this anthology and a great teaser for all other stories to come. This was the first story I have read my Ms. Espino, but I liked her writing and will definitely check out more of her books. A cute Christmas story with a lot of love and a sweet ending.

    My Boys by Amarinda Jones

Ella is stuck in the middle of an Elf and an Angel, literally. Mathias, an angel from heaven comes to save Ella when she contemplates death. Harry, an Elf that Santa knew could do the job with Ella, is dispatched as well to save Ella. Until Harry and Mathias showed up, Ella felt anything but attractive, but as the two men show her what they could be together, she decides to enjoy the gifts from Heaven and the North Pole.

At first reading this story I thought I had jumped into a series. The writing was good and the characters and plots well thought out, but this seemed like an intricate world that I had just jumped into. The more I read the more it made sense. In this story the North Pole is a sort of limbo between heaven and hell, a place where people go when they are neither good nor bad. A different kind of world, but it was interesting nonetheless. This isn’t to say this wasn’t a good story, because on the contrary it was entertaining and hot. I actually would like to see this author explore the world more in-depth, maybe even make stories for the secondary characters. Overall I was pleased with this story and would recommend this to a friend.

A Christmas Curse by Ericka Scott

Amanda was depressed, but she couldn’t remember what had driven her to that point. Deciding to take a trip down memory lane and visit her childhood home twenty years later, she discovers that time had literally stopped in her old apartment. It was also where her mother had died only a few short weeks prior.

Frank is now the occupant of the apartment. After his wife died, he decided to move into the apartment that seemed to be haunted. Working as a paramedic, Frank has answered numerous calls to multiple suicides from apartment 666. Through this unexpected turn of events, Frank and Amanda find a love for each other that helps fight the demons of Christmas past.

Holy cow I loved this story! This was an incredibly good read even despite the short length. There was some hot sex, horror, and good ole’ Christmas love. The only complaint I have with this story is at the beginning. I won’t divulge what I’m talking about, but I thought what Frank offered was a little rushed, considering what he had lost only a few short months prior. This of course was just a small personal problem I found which does not deter from the story as a whole. This is a promising author that I will be looking up in the very near future!

The Little Red Ribbon by A.D. Blackburn

James lost his wife five years ago to a break in gone bad. Maddy lost her husband in a car wreck. Christmas time is not something the two enjoy or even look forward to. James buys his deceased wife a last minute gift, a tradition he has done since her death, but realizes when he gets home he lost it. When his friend Caius introduces James to his sister Maddy, he hopes a good one night stand will help keep his mind off the lost gift and his Christmas heartache. Fate had a way of taking away the hurt the two people share while providing them with great sex as a Christmas gift.

I really enjoyed this read. Not only was it scorching hot it was also very sweet. I loved James, loved everything about him actually. He is one rough and alpha man that would make any woman swoon. Maddy “Mads” is also a very likable character, and the ending tied the whole story together for me. The chemistry that James and Maddy share can change the tragedy of their lives into something much more.

Once Upon a Christmas Spanking by Rachel Clark

Ally has led a sheltered life. When she goes out with her sister and some friends, she realizes there is a whole world of uninhibited sex calling her name. When her husband Greg finds the gift bag full of sexual paraphernalia her friends gave her, she is mortified.

Greg gave up a life of dominance and BDSM when he fell in love with Ally. Discovering the wicked sex toys she brought home sparks Greg’s dominate side. He realizes his wife needs to be spanked, that he needs to show her the side of him that he has suppressed for years. He shows her what their relationship can be like and brings his pretty young wife to a whole new world just in time for Christmas.

Hot little story! I loved the trust, love, dominance and submission that were conveyed through Greg and Ally. The writing was very well down and I could really get into the story. I have never really been much into BDSM, but found that I loved the way Miss Clark set the scene up. I could see what was happening with Greg and Ally, could feel their emotions conveyed through the pages. Great story by a talented author. I can’t wait to read more by this author.

Yes Alana, There Is a Santa Claus by Seleste DeLaney

Alana doesn’t like Christmas and can’t seem to get into the holiday spirit. She is struggling to make ends meet all the while watching her friends and enjoy themselves and the Christmas season. Lusting after her coworker, Daniel, Alana feels she is finally ready to make the move to get to know him better.

Brady is Alana’s coworker and has been in the background desperately wanting Alana, but he has had to painfully watch Alana lust after Daniel. When Alana finally sees who and what Daniel truly is, it is Brady who steps in to make things right. During a cold winter night, Alana and Brady share a little Christmas magic. Alana finds out Brady isn’t truly who he says he is.

What a cute story. I loved the chemistry between Alana and Brady. I was glad at how things played out; even satisfied with the ending even thought it was a happily-ever-after for now. The story kept pace very well and I didn’t feel like it veered off. I would have loved to see this story longer because I was absorbed into the characters. Miss. DeLaney did a superb job at weaving a heartfelt Christmas story with a little heat thrown in.

    Carly's Delights by Lauren Pilla

Carly works a job just like any other woman. The difference between Carly and other women is that Carly’s job consists of making and testing out sex toys. She feels her life is repetitive, spiritless even. When Carly comes up with the solution for why the production is so low, she decides to give her theory a try. Alex is just what Carly needs, and she plans on testing him out to the fullest extent.

This Christmas story had an interesting twist. Carly is an elf at the North Pole, but she doesn’t make toys for good little boys and girls. Carly works on the other side of the North Pole, making sex toys for all the naughty men and woman. I realize this is a short story, but even so I thought the emotions were rushed between Alex and Carly. They slept together once and already Alex was taking about love and wanting to keep her forever. This was the one and only set back found, and I wished the story could have been longer so these two characters could have explored each other on a more emotional and mental level. It was hot though and Ms. Pilla did a nice job of spicing up a chilly room.

Kingdom of Sweets by Gigi Brevard

Clara has just moved from Germany to the US, but she is lonely and homesick. Her memory of a nutcracker her brother got for Christmas one year is what keeps her going. Not only does she feel connected to the toy, but one night he actually becomes flesh and blood. Clara must wait until she is an adult to fully enjoy her nutcracker prince his kingdom. With her parents expecting too much out of her, Clara aches for her nutcracker to visit on Christmas. Clara and her nutcracker prince find pleasure in the Kingdom of sweets.

I loved how this story started off, and when Clara said a particular statement, I cracked up. Below is said statement that I just had to share.

“I felt beads of sweat pop up all over my body, so many that I wondered if my roommate Jess had thrown a glass of water on my face to wake me up. Then I realized it was just hot as balls in here.”

The way Ms. Brevard described the setting and her flow of words was exquisite and entertaining. I could see crystal clear what Clara saw, what she even felt. I loved the description of the nutcracker, how he spoke erotically but kept his composure. The sex scene was H-O-T! While I read erotica frequently, I find that some of the sexual scenes are repetitive and predictable. This one was not. I was fully sucked into it and even needed a cool drink and a fan when I was done reading. Great short story by a talented author!

    Holly's Clause by Kerri Nelson

Holly is in love with her UPS driver. It has gotten so bad she has had to resort to ordering multiple things online just so the sexy driver, Liam will come to her house. Liam is the man that Holly has dreamed of ever since she moved into her new home. On Christmas Eve Holly is visited by Tannin, a demon coming to collect her soul in 24 hours. Not only does Holly find out there was a clause in her homeowner’s paperwork, but that in 24 hours she will be the sole property of the Harvester, a soul eating monster. Holly must make the most out of her time left on Earth, and Liam is just the man to share it with.

Great story! I loved the little thrill of excitement with demons and soul collectors, but I loved the whole storyline. I would love to see Ms. Nelson explore this world and branch off into different stories. I especially want to read more about Tannin and how he got to become the collector of souls. The sex was smokin’ and the chemistry between Liam and Holly was amazing!

Hard for the Holidays by Skylar Sinclair

Jewell Dupree isn’t your average woman, no; she can also talk to the dead. When she is woke on Christmas Eve by the sound of bells downstairs, she assumes it is just another distraught soul that has some unfinished business. When she goes downstairs, not only is it not soul that needs help, but it is a real life, flesh and blood man. He isn’t just any man; he is a wickedly handsome Santa that has come to give Jewell her Christmas present early.

This was a hot story from the moment I started reading it until it ended. There was a twist at the end that was a pleasant surprise. I wished this story was longer because I would have loved to learn more about Jewell and Micale. There was chemistry, excitement, humor, and good old-fashioned love in this story. This one is not to be missed!

The Christmas Fae by Emma Shortt

Isadora is a fairy, a Christmas Fae to be exact. Lucas is down in the dumps, but when he meets Isadora at a bar and gets a Christmas wish, he knows his luck has changed. His wish for Christmas? Isadora for one night, for one Christmas. Isadora and Lucas share an explosive night together, but once the lights are on, Lucas see’s Isadora for what she really is, wings and all.

This was a cute story. I liked the chemistry between Isadora and Lucas. The sex was hot, also. The only complaint would be that I thought they feel too quickly for each other. I know this is a short story, but it was like they fell in love after being intimate only once. Although I didn’t care for that one small thing, I loved the plot and the world that Ms. Shortt created. I would like to see a longer story by this author from this magical world she has created.

    Jack Frost by Misty Burke

Molly agrees to help her aunt in Winterville, NC for the Christmas festival. Her spirits are lifted when she sees her sister and aunt, but she knows she can’t stay. She decides to make a snowman, even dreams of father winter coming to her and being the man she needs to remind her she is alive. Then a stranger, Jack, appears in a blizzard and Molly must heat him up to keep him alive. Molly realizes Jack starts a fire within her, a heat that touches her heart and makes her want to stay.

I really liked this story. It was sweet, sexy, and had a happy ending that made me smile. I would have loved if it was longer, but Ms. Burke did a great job in painting a wintry landscape for Molly and Jack to play in. If you like holiday stories with a hint of folklore and a touch of heat, this is a great little tale that is sure to warm you up.

A Christmas Wish for Laura by Shannan Albright

Laura has lived in Alaska by herself since her husband’s death five years ago. Laura has been haunted by the image of a six foot tall and finely muscled man. Sculpting him out of ice, Laura is able to reply in her mind the wicked things he does to her. This man that she doesn’t know has woke her dormant libido and sent her body into a frenzy. Loneliness has settled in, but Laura knows she can’t trust her heart to just anyone, nor does she want to be hurt. Elric is caught in the winter storm and needs shelter from the elements. He ventures into a barn and comes face to face with himself…a six foot tall ice sculpture of him to be exact.

This was a great story with some hot sex. The plot and characters were likable and I loved, absolutely loved Elric! Although they jumped right into the sex, I didn’t feel like it was overly rushed. Although, again I feel the main characters fell in love too quickly. The story was too short for two people to fall in love after just meeting and having one act of intimacy. This, of course, isn’t Ms. Albright’s error as many authors do it. It is hard not to want a HEA for the main characters, but for me, I would like to see feelings as strong as love stretched out throughout a story, not created for the sake of a happily ever after. This of course is my personal opinion and didn’t deter from the overall likeness I had for this story. It was a hot read and, if Ms. Albright decided, I think the world she created and Elric would make a great novel.

Hard for the Holidays by Skylar Sinclair. Jewell Dupree sees dead people. But it certainly isn’t a dead man she finds near her fireplace Christmas Eve night. The Christmas Fae by Emma Short. Isadora is a Christmas Fairy. It is her duty to find one person and grant them their Christmas wish. Jack Frost by Misty Burke. Molly left the small town of Winterville because she wanted all the things she saw the rich tourists had: money, important jobs, nice clothes. It’s only when she returns for the Winter Festival that she realizes that what she was searching for was right there all the time. And when she meets Jack Frost, she realizes there is so much more to life here in her small hometown.

A Christmas Wish for Laura by Shannon Albright. After losing her husband in a senseless auto accident, Laura Holt moves to Alaska to escape the pain. She is an artist and can work just about anywhere. When she starts dreaming of a gorgeous and sexy man, she sculpts him in ice, and refuses to offer the figure for sale. During a freak storm, a man lost in the storm shows up at her converted barn and lets himself in, coming face to face with the spitting image of himself, carved in ice. Elric Frosti is every woman’s dream come true, and the only question becomes, will she accept eternity with this man?

These are thirteen hot and sexy stories, each with a great set of characters and lots of humor and imagination. These are fun to read, and each has a unique holiday theme to it. I loved the different happy ever afters for each one, and I recommend lots of ice and maybe a few spare batteries.
