Rett Cameron is stranded in Resort City without a cent to her name. She wants to go home to Australia but how does she do that without money? When one of the locals offers to pay her for her sexual services, she’s stunned. Sex with strangers? For money? Or is there more involved?

Hamish Clark, the local strip club owner, has a suggestion for Rett. Strip for me and I’ll pay you. The minute he saw Rett he wanted her. He soon discovers she has other needs than just money. But Hamish has a problem. Not all women like him. One wants him dead.

Be Warned: bdsm, multiple partners, sex toys, anal sex.

“Take your clothes off.” Hamish Clark smiled as the buxom brunette’s mouth dropped open in shock. Hmmm, pretty lips. I wonder what they’d feel like on a man’s dick. He shifted in his seat for the third time since the woman walked into his small office. Some women had the ability to make a man hard with one look. This was one of them. Hamish had been surprised when she walked in the door. She was not the usual type of lady that searched for work at his club. That she was beautiful and had a body a man could bury himself in and never want to leave was undoubted.

“What?”

She was dressed in plain denim shorts and a simple red t-shirt. Although Hamish could guess what was underneath, he wanted to see the curves and mounds of luscious flesh. Hamish had seen a lot of bodies since he became the owner of the strip club. That had been purely by default. His best friend, Seth Wilson, the original owner of The Howl and the Pussy, had thrown him a paper signing the club over to him, followed by the keys; and with a surfboard under his arm, Seth declared he could hear the call of the sea and he was leaving Resort City forever. That was eight months ago. Hamish had taken over ownership on a temporary basis. He expected Seth to be back when he ran out of money, and owning a strip club, while fun, wasn’t what Hamish wanted to do. He was in construction by trade. But he was also on a break until he worked out what he really wanted to do in life. Like Seth, he had an urge to follow some dream. But what? He had come to Resort City to hook up with Seth, drink some beers, and check out his club. The last thing he expected was to own it.

“You need money?” What is your story? What brought you so desperately to my door?

“Y-y-es but I thought maybe you needed a waitress or something.”

“We need ‘something’ more than a waitress here at The Howl and Pussy.” Hamish’s eyes roamed her body. She was hot. There was no other word for it. He shifted once more in his seat. His balls were aching with need. Yeah, she would do nicely. Their clientele was tired of stick figured women who looked like they’d faint on stage if they turned too fast. “If you want to make money, there’s two ways of doing it at this club. One is stripping and the other, well, it’s about pandering to the fetishes of our guests.”

“Have sex with strangers? Are you kidding me?”

Hmm, interesting. Was there the mind of a prude in that voluptuous body? “Why not?”

“Because it’s—”

“Wrong?”

“Yes.”

Yet she wasn’t storming out. She remained where she was. “Says who?”

“Er, well—people.”

Lame reason, but her blush is cute. “Which people?”

Rett threw he hands up in frustration. “I don’t know. I should go.”

‘Should’ not ‘I’m going’. “I’m Hamish. What’s your name?”

“Rett.”

“And you’re an Aussie?” Hamish knew there had to be a hell of a story about this woman called Rett who was so far from home

“Correct.”

“So whatever you do at The Howl and Pussy to earn money isn’t going to follow you back home. You’re a stranger here. You can cut loose and enjoy yourself.” The sudden glimmer of hope in her brown eyes made him smile. This woman I want. It had never occurred to Hamish to sleep with his staff. They worked there and he paid them. It was business. But the luscious Rett? I can make an exception. “Tell me honestly, Rett, haven’t you ever wanted to get naked and drive men wild for your body?”

  1. Sizzling Hot Book Reviews

Posted by Unknown on 17th Apr 2012

Rett Cameron works for Second Comings, an erotic toy manufacture, in Australia. Her boss sent her to Miami to discuss expanding into the international market with a manufacture in Miami. After business was done, she ended up in Los Vegas with other Aussies and only had enough money left to get to Resort City, FL. Now she has to figure out how to get the couple hundred miles from Resort City to Miami and take care of herself until her return flight home to Australia. But with no money and no Work Visa, she isn’t sure how to do that. Until The Howl and Pussy club is suggested to her.

Eight months ago, Hamish Clark was taking a break from construction work when he looked up his old friend Seth in Resort City. Seth was hearing the ‘call of the serf’ (ocean) and just up and signed the ownership of his strip club, The Howl and Pussy, over to Hamish. Hamish is running the club while waiting for Seth to return, expecting him back when he runs out of money. In the mean while, it gives Hamish something to do while he figures out what he wants/where he wants to go with his life. When Rett walks in and tilts his world sideways, he just may have found it.

The Howl and Pussy is not just a strip club. It also caters to the fetish/sexual needs of higher end (i.e. rich) of the city. Hamish offers Rett a “sexual odyssey” as well as the money she needs to get home. What neither are aware of is that another employee is watching them and their attraction, planning on using Rett against Hamish. Amelia Hanson got the job as cleaner to get to Hamish after her sister, Meg, killed herself over him and his rejection of her. Now Amelia has finally found something she thinks she can use to hurt him, even if it means hurting someone else…

As with Eat Me Up (see my review here), Strip For Me is part of the “Sex Odyssey Series;” the fast, (explicit) sexy reads from Evernight Publishing. I have reviewed a couple others in this group by Amarinda Jones already, like Hush and Eat Me Up. I’m not sure about others in this series, but Jones’ stories happen around Resort City, FL and have lots of graphic, often kinky, sex. But that is the idea around the “Sex Odyssey Series,” so be prepared when choosing to read them. And if that is what you are in the mood for, these deliver with imagination and unexpected wildness.

Strip For Me really is a “sexual odyssey” as is suggested by the series title (maybe more so than the others I read). Rett experiences a variety of sex and even some of the fetishes out there. Rett is refreshing in embracing her sexuality. She doesn’t think of or call herself a slut (even if her straight laced sister does), and keeps an open mind of the fetishes she encounters at the club, even the odd ones. With our Puritan-influenced society in America, all too often women are regarded negatively when they enjoy sex. So I must admit I appreciate it when the women are able to be just like the men without the negative attitudes or self-images.

I have to say that Hamish and Rett falling for each other is hard to believe. Makes for a great story, and adds to Strip For Me no question, yet really just feels like lust and hormones. But that is why we all like the old fairy tales and this follows that idea (boy, would I have trashed those concepts too?). I love the idea of Hamish all but inherited the strip club from his friend when the friend decides to leave everything to go surfing. I do find it hard to believe that he never got together with any of his workers though. I mean what single man would be able to resist all those women? (He is supposed to be really good looking and all…) For eight months? And Rett looses all her money in Los Vegas then ended up in a strip/sex club in some little town in FL. That is just funny as can be! I love some of the little plot twists Amarinda comes up with to set up these stories…

Strip For Me is another fast read that is truly a “sexual odyssey” this time. Hamish helps Rett experience more in these few pages then most do in a life time. Strip For Me is a wild ride and in the end Rett teaches Hamish as much as she learns from him, if in a slightly more subtle way. If you have read any of this series or Amarinda Jones’ work, you won’t want to miss this one.

  2. Coffee Time Romance

Posted by Lototy on 2nd May 2011

On the other side of the world is not the most convenient place to be stranded, but Rett Cameron knows she only has herself to blame. Now she just needs to figure out a way to get back home.

Managing a strip club is not a job Hamish Clark ever intended to have, but what are friends for? His buddy needed some time off, and while Hamish is reevaluating his own life, he can certainly help out.

Rett needs to get to Miami to make her plane home to Australia, and fifty bucks is not going to do it. It will get her as far as Resort City, but once there she will need to make some serious cash fast. If Hamish were not so gorgeous, Rett would have walked away that day, but something about him spoke to her. Hamish may have finally met the woman of his dreams, but another is out there ready to make his life a living nightmare, and Rett is the key to all her plans.

The freedom of being completely open and anonymous is an exhilarating experience for Rett, and it is pure entertainment to see her completely live it up. Strong women and captivating men are what Amarinda Jones does best, and this story is a prime example. Getting into Hamish’s head or getting a little more character history would be awesome, but this is a fun read as it stands. Sometimes you just need a shot of heat, and this certainly hits the spot.

  3. 100 Romance Project Review

Posted by Joey on 22nd Apr 2011

You know me and erotica by now. I'm one of those analytical readers who wants to know the why and the how, and can't often force my mind to just go with it for a change.

Strip For Me is a short erotic read that requires that need to stop questioning things and just go with it. In most erotic reads, I'm turned off by the fact that the author simply states that the hero and heroine have fallen madly and passionately in love, simply because they had hot sex.

In Strip For Me, you have to accept that. The story is simply not long enough to establish an emotional connection and give you the why and the how. It's Erotica, after all. So colored me surprised when, while reading, I liked Rett and Hamish.

Rett, in order to get home, must make some money, and fast. She's pointed in the direction of Hamish, who runs an establishment that caters to people with enough money to have their fetishes and desires fulfilled. Rett agrees to play the role of fantasy-fullfiller, because she's in a bind.

But she and Hamish click, and in between fantasy encounters with clients, Rett and Hamish make some smut-time for themselves.

I can't really tell you why it works, because I'm not sure myself. I think Ms. Jones simply presented two characters with good chemistry, which made this spicy read fathomable. For once, I didn't care about the logic or the quickness of the declarations of love because I simply enjoyed Rett and Hamish, circumstances be damned.

Strip For Me is an erotic work, with menage and bdsm themes only topping the list of flaming sexual encounters. This is a hot one, with the added benefit of a couple that actually works.
