Coffee Time Romance
Elijah is a lonely dragon who searches for something he fears he will never find; his fated mate. When he senses “the one” near his home, he was shocked to find that what he thought was one was actually two, and fate had blessed him twice. Jon and Dakota have been together since the 7th grade. What was once friendship and childhood love became the love of a man and woman who could never live away from one another. Fate has kicked them around a bit, but little did they know they had to leave something behind to find completion in another life. Elijah is prepared to fight for his one, but is ecstatic to discover it is unnecessary since they were both born for him. How does one make them so they are his, like he is theirs, and he will never forsake or leave them? It may be more than one dragon can master, but he is determined to put it all on the line and hope that fate got it right. Jon and Dakota only trust each other, so can they let go of fear long enough to let Elijah in, or is fate going to kick them while they are down? I love the writing of Ms. Burke. She writes balance into her menage stories and no one is left on the outside. The attraction is strong between all three and draws the reader into the emotional, spiritual, and physical of the bond. I look forward to the next book in the series and Ms. Burke’s books will be on my TBR list. I highly recommend the writing of Ms. Burke and her opening of the blood born series Drawn by Dragonblood.
