"The Crimson Rope" is a 6 story anthology with all of the stories having a BDSM theme, and all of them involving a pieces or pieces of crimson rope in their storylines. The six stories are: The Exhibition by London Saint James Amazing Maisie by Raven McAllan Liberating Lux by Elyzabeth M. VaLey Taboo by Doris O'Connor Lock, Stock, and Spank her by R. Brennan The Cowboy and the Schoolmarm by Nikki Prince My favorites in this book were most definitely The Exhibition, Amazing Maisie, and Taboo. The others were OK for me, but I'm a big Doris O'Connor and Raven McAllan fan, which is what drove me to read this book in the first place. I'd say it was well worth it!

I love smexy anthologies!! They are great ways to get books from authors you love and meet new naughty writers! This book totally serves up the hot and heavy!! This is great for all you BDSM book lovers! The Exhibition by London Saint James - This was a fun read, I always enjoy the theme of girl crushing on best friend's big brother. This one gives a new twist in that the best friend is a guy and gay. This one will get you hot under the collar real quick!! Amazing Maisie by Raven McAllan - It is a really sweet story, while still being sexy! It is all about communication and misconceptions. Great explanations of the lifestyle! Liberating Lua by Elyzabeth M. VaLey - This story is a historical BDSM. It was good just not my favorite. Taboo by Doris O'Connor - This is an older man younger woman romance, with the added twist that he is a family friend. Eh, not really my thing, but there are loads of folks out there who love this theme. Lock Stock and Spank Her by R. Brennan - This was my favorite in the anthology. This is a book that really takes you through the newbie paces. I was also really interested in reading about what happens at a munch. The Cowboy and the Schoolmarm by Nikki Prince - Cowboys are a weakness!! I just love how sexy and rugged they are, add in a touch of kink and I am in lust!! Great book that gives you a taste of a few different authors. I am definitely going to look for more of all these ladies!!
This book rules. Great job authors.
If you love BDSM, you've gotta read The Crimson Rope. It was so good, I had to read it twice.
The Crimson Rope grabbed me from the very first story, The Exhibition by London Saint James. I was introduced to the world of erotica through art and what the author describes as “bondage artwork.” This was a unique story setting with explosive sexual interaction between the hero and the heroine that was written so well, I think I flushed hot while reading it. The next story in this anthology was Amazing Maisie by Raven McAllan that continued the BDSM theme with the heroine exploring the possibilities of her submissive side with the hero while he is away via email. Rob is one smoking hot and demanding Dom, the question Maisie must answer; is she ready to submit? Another scorcher of a story. Liberating Lua by Elyzabeth M. VaLey took me on a journey back in time with Lord Jürgen GreyStorm and his wife, Lady Lua Mirabella. Lady Mirabella was taught that sex was an obligation to endure, but she’s about to find out how good sex can be if she is willing to submit to her dominant, sexy husband. Again, another sizzling story. Taboo by Doris O’Connor. The young heroine is rescued from a bad situation with an inexperienced Dom by her father’s handsome best friend. Both the older hero and younger heroine lust for each other, but will they give into the taboo of it all? The chemistry between Joshua and Lucy was terrific. Lock, Stock, and Spank Her by R. Brennan. Another unique story setting. I met Beth who was on her way to a fetish munch. When she arrives at the much, she meets, Alexander, a Dom who makes interesting BDSM inventions. I loved the concept of the heroine helping the hero demonstrate his newest invention. And like the rest of the stories, this one was off the charts hot. In The Cowboy and the Schoolmarm by Nikki Prince I was introduced to Melanie, a woman who probably married the wrong man, but after becoming a widow she has a second chance with the cowboy she left behind. Who doesn’t like second chance stories? I know I do. Then there was the added bonus of having a sexy cowboy Dom. Each story in this BDSM collection is different from the next, but it does have several elements in common that brings a cohesive feel to the book. I completly enjoyed reading this anthology.
I got this book because I'm a fan of a couple of the authors and wasn't disappointed. I also found a couple of authors I hadn't read before that I will look up and read now. The book starts out with a bang and continues.
I really enjoyed all of these short stories. I enjoy being able to read short stories by different authors and get to know new authors and see what some of my favorite have come up with.
