Manlove at the End of the World, 1

When the world ends, can a tough cowboy find true love?

The world suffers a plague that wipes out most of the population. For Benjamin, the last cowboy, it is a lonely existence. He spends his days on a farm and dreaming of someone to spend the rest of this miserable life with. That is until Cody arrives...

Cody has secrets, but the more time he spends with the lonely cowboy makes those lies harder to conceal. For this ‘in the closet’ virgin, life got a little more complicated, especially when that secret comes to the farm to kill them all.

Be Warned: m/m sex.

“You anything with a man?” He adjusted his pants. There was less and less room in the crotch area.

Cody answered with a timid shake of his head. “Coming out wasn’t exactly accepted in my little town.”

Dear God, he was a virgin. It was Benjamin’s turn to glance away. He bit his lower lip and concentrated on his breathing. The only thing better than a hot guy, was a virgin looking to expand his horizons. Maybe this would be more than a lay. Just maybe this could be something permanent. Benjamin was just so damn tired of being alone. Even if they remained friends, which would suck, it would still be better than loneliness.

“I’ve wanted stuff.” Cody finally broke the silence.

Benjamin took his eyes off the house, which was quickly approaching. “Yeah? What kind of stuff?” He had to ask. Absolutely had to!

Cody seemed to think on it. He bit his lower lip and shuffled forward.

“Have you ever tasted your own stuff?” His curiosity seemed to know no bounds. The words were coming straight from his penis without the normal filtering. When Cody shook his head yes, he asked, “You ever wanted to suck one?” Benjamin swallowed hard when the words escaped. Cody glanced at him timidly and nodded. “You ever see another man’s cock?” Just how virgin was he? “I mean, besides mine.” He grinned like a fool.

Cody shook his head and they lost eye contact again.

Benjamin groaned. He was so damn hot and hard he may just break the zipper on his pants. He glanced around and walked faster to the side of the house. The backside had only one big window and he quickly let the horse go. The big Beast walked toward the barn as Benjamin turned toward Cody. His hand shifted lower and the wind kicked up slightly as he placed a hand over his crotch.

Cody froze. His eyes shifted toward the cupped appendage.

“Do you wanna see my cock, again?”

“Right here?” Cody glanced around.

“Get on your knees. That is, if you want to see it...”

So Hot!!
Written by Kenna Nauenburg on 20th Apr 2015

My first thought was "Wow...the end of the world could be awesome!" Then I felt a little guilty about that. Seriously though,James Cox has written a very hot, sexy story about two men who come together (hehe...come together) on a small, out of the way farm and make some magic. I absolutely loved this short, scorching little love story. Definitely pick this one up.

I really, really enjoyed this story. It wasn’t perfect as it could have used more details about this virus and a little more length but that was made up for by the characters personality. The plot was well done. It was fast paced but still had slow moments for the two hot guys to fall for each other. The romance was scorching hot and if you like some serious heat between sexy men, I think you’re going to love this. The Last Cowboy was a quick, hard-hitting read that I will definitely recommend.

At this point anyone that's familiar with my favorite types of books should know that if there is a post-apocalyptic setting, hot guys, and bit of sexual tension it's going to be an absolute winner ;) James Cox managed to incorporate all of my favorites in this novella. I'm thrilled to find that it's going to be a series and can't wait to read more! Do yourself a favor, grab a glass of wine, settle down in your most comfortable spot and indulge yourself with The Last Cowboy

Benjamin has been alone for three years, ever since a virus wiped out a lot of the world’s population. Other than the odd straggler he’s had no company and his wrist is mighty sore. But, one day while lying nude next to a pond, someone spies on him and Benjamin has found a new companion. Cody is running and in Benjamin he finds a protector. Although, that isn’t all he wants Benjamin for and when his past catches up to him, will Benjamin even want to keep him safe, when he finds out he lied? This is a great erotic short story, that is quite heavy on the sex or more on the want of sex, as poor Benjamin has been alone for three long and lonely years. Cody comes across Benjamin by chance, but Benjamin is wary, at first, as strangers are hard to trust. Benjamin might have a hankering for the city boy, but he still has to be careful that it isn’t some type of trap. And when the truth comes out, Benjamin has a choice to make. Cody and Benjamin are quite well suited and they make for a good story. Okay, so there is a lot of sexual tension at the beginning of the book and it is laced throughout the book as well, but it settles down a bit after a while. The storyline is really interesting; humankind starting over after a virus wipes out most of it and going back to basic’s where money is worthless and goods are traded. Benjamin, at first, seems to have sex on the brain, but when he meets Cody he is actually interested in something longer term than just getting off. Cody is just looking for someplace to hide out, but Benjamin is more than he bargained for, and Cody ends up wanting more than just a hiding place. When these two are together sparks do fly, but Benjamin is really quite gentle with Cody as they ease into a relationship. So, I will recommend this to those who like futuristic, post-apocalyptic, cowboys and city slickers, hot sex, a new beginning and a happy ever after. P.S. keep an eye out for the epilogue where we meet the characters for the next three books.
