Elite Escorts, 1

Carpenter by day, manwhore extraordinaire by night, Reid Sullivan lives every man’s dream. But, Elite Escort’s hottest third wheel longs for something more than casual sex with clients.

Jessica Lindy's testimony helped put her ex-husband behind bars, but she can't escape his vows of revenge. A jaded single mom, she guards her heart and daughter’s life against any man.

One fateful night with Reid, the temptation for Jessica to allow another man into their lives becomes too hard to resist. But when her past collides with the present, lives—and love—will be lost unless Jessica learns how to lower her defenses. Can the professional escort convince the wary young mom that he can be a different sort of third wheel—the one she can trust?

Be Warned: menage sex (MFM), BDSM, anal sex

“Go into the bedroom and take your clothes off,” he said, stepping back, hands releasing their hold on me. “There are towels in the adjoining bathroom. Wrap one around yourself and get comfy on that big ass bed, belly down.”

Uh … oh yeah. Massage. Right.

Unable to find my voice, I nodded and tried to walk away. Damn heels near sent me sprawling on the floor.

“Here. Let me.” Reid dropped to his knees and lifted one of my feet to unbuckle the black heels Christine had insisted on.

I grabbed hold of his shoulder to keep from falling over, my gaze locked on the dark head inches away from my throbbing clit. Thoughts of him lifting my dress’s hem with his teeth brought a moan to my throat, but I bit down on the inside of my lip to keep from letting it out.

His large hand slid up my calf and back down before making short work of the clasp. My foot slid free, and he ran his hand up my other leg, catching my breath.

Get a grip, Jessica. The barest touch on my skin—hotter than any sex I could remember. My body craved more. One little lick, one little pinch on my clit, and I’d be screaming my release for the world to hear.

“Go on,” Reid said, standing and stepping back, my heels dangling from his hand.

With another thoughtless, dumb nod, I managed to make my feet move. I eyed the massive bed while making my way across the bedroom to the open bathroom door. Images of Reid’s ass clenching with each thrust into my writhing body beneath his flashed across my mind.

“G-good God,” I whispered.

Hands shaking, I all but ripped off my tight dress and restricting bra, but paused to consider my panties. A full body massage…

Another few seconds of indecision and I slid the soaked bit of silk down my legs. Just in case he wanted to knead my ass cheeks. And, nothing more than that, I told myself while wrapping a white fluffy towel around me. A peek into the bedroom revealed it empty, so I scooted to the bed, pulled back the comforter and top sheet, and lay face down a little ways from the edge, eyes clenched shut, pulse pounding through every cell of my body.

Closer than a hair to hyperventilation, I focused on slowing my breathing. Relaxed my muscles as soft instrumental music floated through the closed door.

“Jessica?” Reid’s low voice raised what little hair I had on my body. “Can I come in?”

I squeaked a reply but had to clear my throat and try again. “Yes.”

Yes. Please come … I mean, come in. Touch me. Make me come.

Night Owl Review
Written by Sandiebuck on 28th Oct 2017

Lynn Burke writes some of the hottest BDSM romance and she continues with that in "Third Wheel". It doesn’t hurt that it’s usually located in good old Boston (I’m a Bostonian myself). "Third Wheel" is rather on the mild side in the kink department, but it’s no less hot. In fact, I had to stop several times just to fan myself and take a cold drink. It’s that good! This is a new series called Elite Escorts. It’s named Third Wheel because our hero, Reid Sullivan, is an escort whose specialty is being the third in a threesome. But he gets a special request one night for a date. Jessica Lindy is a single mother. She has been raising her 18 month old daughter all on her own since she helped put her ex in jail. A friend arranges a date with Reid for some relief, but things don’t go as planned. Now Reid wants to become the third wheel in Jessica’s family. But Jessica is leery of men. "Third Wheel" is a wonderfully written book. My only complaint is that I would have liked to see a little more one on one time between the main characters. Maybe less “goggie”, but that’s a personal preference from a blogger who thinks books are becoming too “Babycentric”

Long and Short Reviews

Reid works for Elite Escorts – satisfying clients who want someone tall, dark and handsome and are willing to pay for it. He sees himself as a professional third wheel – normally acting out fantasies with and for married couples. But Reid honestly wants more now – a commitment, someone that’s his who he doesn’t need to walk away from. And then Jessica’s best friend pays for them to have a night together – one that changes both their lives forever. I found this a delightful and refreshingly different style of story. While Reid is an escort who (until Jessica) only works as the third in ménages, there isn’t any sex between Reid and Jessica until well into the story. I loved getting to know more about Reid and Jessica as people first, before the sexiness steamed up the pages. I also liked how the chapters swapped between Jessica and Reid’s perspective – which really helped me feel closer to both the characters and understand them better than I would have had we only been exposed to one or the other’s thoughts. I found the conflict aspect of the plot – Jessica’s criminal ex – fairly predictable. I almost feel the story could have been slightly stronger without the crazy ex element in it – the progression of Reid and Jessica’s relationship was doing quite well with peaks and troughs even without the “conflict”. The fact the actions were easily guessed lessened my enjoyment of the story slightly. I really enjoyed the pacing of Reid and Jessica learning to trust each other and find happiness in each other’s company. I also enjoyed how there’s plenty of chemistry and sex in the story, but the feel of the pacing really led me to believe that it was neither rushed nor skimmed over. I felt the author really excelled at this. I also liked how there is clear bait for the next story in the series (Jarod and Christine – I suspect) but this did not overshadow Reid and Jessica’s story nor did it feel like their story was short-changed to prepare the lead up for future stories to come. A balanced and sexy romance, I felt this book had great characters and excellent pacing. I really enjoyed it.
