Carly Oberon lives in a scenic Pennsylvania college town with her smart, funny, Professor husband and silly, sweet, oversized cockapoo. Her early passion for writing and literature led to a rewarding career as a high school English teacher. Carly’s other passion, understanding how people learn and adapt, led to an equally rewarding career as a Psychologist. She wrote her novel, OFF, partly to intertwine her love of writing with the fascinating psychology of human behavior.

Carly and her husband lived in Brazil for five months that allowed her to fulfill a lifelong dream of cruising the Amazon. In addition to writing, she enjoys traveling (particularly to warmer climates), reading, and eating her husband’s fabulous food. She is still trying to convince him to audition for Chopped.
