Amma Cerise holds a doctorate in art history and lived in California, London, and Paris before settling in Maryland.
Her writing explores unconventional and twisted relationships and she draws upon her graduate studies to create highly sensuous worlds wherein elegance and delicacy intertwine with eroticism. She has previously published on representations of taste in seventeenth-century art, and she aims to use the romance genre to invite readers to viscerally experience a diversity of senses. Devour Me is her first novel.
