Tanya Jean Russell, author of debut novel Broken Trust spent her early years as a military brat where she discovered the joy of reading. She has been a dedicated book worm ever since, driving everyone a little crazy with her tendency to live in ‘fairy land’ even when she doesn’t have a book in her hands. With a varied career, her stint at a major airline played a large part in her debut novel.
A huge fan of the pure pleasure of a developing romance, and the drama of perilous situations, meant Tanya Jean was destined to write romantic suspense. She loves the escapism of writing and creating engaging characters. Writing gives her the perfect excuse for living in her daydreams.
Making her home in a lovely English village Tanya Jean spends her time chasing around after two hyperactive teenage boys and watching her incredibly talented husband who is an award winning, international Elvis and Neil Diamond tribute artist.
She continues to be a little obsessive about books and has an embarrassingly huge (and ever growing) pile of things that she just has to read next to her bed!
She squeezes her daydreaming ... ahem ... writing, around her family and is convinced that chocolate & diet soda should be considered a well-balanced diet!
