This anthology was amazing!!! I couldn’t put it down and loved finding new authors in this book. Each storyline was original, suspenseful and captivating. The characters were complex and had an undeniable chemistry. I loved the drama, angst and spice. I laughed, my heart broke and soared a few times throughout this anthology!!

She was told to take a desk belonging to someone not there for a couple weeks. And he returns today. All great reads. Even though 12 stories they read fast. Very entertaining.
I enjoyed the mix of authors and their variety of dark romance. Each novella was a bite size of sexiness, adrenaline, and drama! The men are alphas, their women are strong, and the dialogue reflects their individual personalities. 12 stories of angsty romantic lovers and their journeys to love or a HEA. Pretty Little Deceiver by Lacee Hightower An assassin and the beautiful woman protecting her brother: dark, twisted, and steamy! Brooklyn is West’s ultimate temptation and his first taste of love. A very intense, forced proximity romance with a sassy FMC and a deadly MMC!! Tutoring the Beast by Jade Marshall Their path to happiness is traumatic, cruel, and dangerous. Kaelie and Matthias have so many obstacles, but the chemistry and energy between them is amazing. I loved the epilogue! The Seal’s Obsession by Lila Fox Skye and Jared share similar parental styles, but managed to leave them behind except for the hurt and uncertainty. His grumpy, sexy persona always fascinated Skye and he tried not to let his true feelings show. I loved it- short, emotional, and spicy!
This collection of dark love stories is perfect! There is a theme throughput the collection but each story is different. If you like dark twisted alpha males and some charcoal gray values then this collection is for you!! If you are sensitive and trigger easy read with caution!!
I enjoyed reading Tell Me Lies (Dark Bully Romance Anthology). Each story had me wanting reading more. The twelve stories had me pulled in and I didn't want to put the book down. I highly recommend reading this!! I love dark bully romance and I loved this book!

I read several of the stories in this collection. It is a great way to find new authors. One in particular that I read was Rage's Claim by Winter Sloane. I loved it. I do not usually read MC but I could not put it down. The story had everything and it made me go search out other books by this author. Great collection.

I love a good dark bully romance, and to have 11 small stories in one anthology....bliss!!! I wouldn't have picked any other stories for this. Each and everyone was different but with the qualities that I love!
Most of the authors in this book are authors I followed. I enjoyed their stories, and, budget-allowing, I wouldn't want to miss a release as much as possible. This is also a great way to discover new authors. The MMCs are anti-heroes but there is a redeeming quality for our FMC to fall in love with them.
This is another fab anthology that contains varied and engaging stories by so many great authors. I'll admit to diving into familiar authors' stories - Sam Crescent, Lila Fox, Beth Carter... ;) - first but they all were captivating, for me. Expect to get caught up in the complex dynamics of love, deception, obsession, power, redemption and hot romance when you dive into this collection. These stories really explored the darker aspects of romance and human nature, and took me on quite the thrilling reading ride - and now I have some more authors to hit my 'must read' list. Good fun!

I absolutely loved this anthology. What a great way to discover a new group of authors!! Definitely whetted my appetite. Each story will hold your attention and is just as good a the next.... with most of them having you wanting more (hint... hint). Definitely a must read and is going into my reread pile!

West and Brooklyn pulled me in with their story of alpha hole and beautiful caring sister of a brother that is a criminal. It shows even hit man have feelings and maybe able to love. I enjoyed each of these books. There is lots of action and spicy. Be prepared; they are dark, and some are pretty violent. Each book has an excellent plot and great characters.
This was a great collection of great authors together. There is something for everyone, one story may appeal to you more than the other. Each story has its own characters and storyline. I loved the MC story and enjoyed reading it too. I can't say which story was better, I can say that I enjoyed all the stories and if you want to have fun reading then this is recommended!

I don't often read anthologies and thought I'd take a chance because a few of my favourite authors were in this one and wow it did not disappoint! The offerings from Sam Crescent , Winter Sloane and Stacy Esposito was a great way to get out of my reading slump. Going to read the others now and hopefully find some more new fave authors!

This is a twelve-book collection of short stories. All the stories are well written and keep you interested. I loved the characters. All the authors did a great job at writing a good book.
An enjoyable anthology, with 12 novella with a range of different settings/themes including High School, College, Workplace, Hitman, MC. Steamy, dark with Alpha males and strong women. I did start to list my favourites out of them and then realised is was pretty much all of them - though special mention does go to: Confliction by Roe Valentine, Blackmailed by Sam Crescent and Stacey Espino, Tutoring the Beast by Jade Marshall, Blood Red Rose by Elyzabeth M. VaLey, A Spark Without Air by D.C. Stone, The Seal's Obsession by Lola Fox, and What's His Problem by Lily Harlem All stories are easily read as standalone, however some of them are set in the world's that the author has previously written in.
A very good Anthology by some very good Authors that bring their stories to life. I enjoyed reading each of these engaging stories and will probably read the collection again.

They are spicy with dark MMCs that will have you turning the page. I highly recommend.

You get a variety of stories, including kidnapping, hit men, murder, blackmail, mafia, past relationships, stalking, etc. These novellas are perfect for a little thrill in between larger books or while passing the time, or read the entire collection, since you probably won’t be able to put it down after reading just one.
Most of these were new to me authors and I enjoyed getting to find some new ones to read. This was a darker read but I really enjoyed it.

Tell Me Lies - A Dark Bully Romance Anthology By Multiple Authors. 1 - Pretty Little Deceiver - by Lacee Hightower. West McCoy is a contract killer searching for his current hit Ben Nelson. What West doesn't anticipate is the effect Brooklyn Nelson, Ben's sister will have on his current objective and more importantly his heart. This is a new to me author giving us an aged gap, fast pace, insta love read it wasn't all hearts and flowers but instant and raw and all came together quite quickly towards the end. An enjoyable read and great introduction to Lacee Hightower. 4 out of 4 stars 2 - Love/Hate Games - A Bramwell U Dark Romance - by Sofia Aves Maddie Sutcliff was a student at Bramwell University a place of wealth, she had recently broken up with her boyfriend Lennox and found herself facing the wrath and bullying of his twin Maxom Deitrich. Two years they had been playing this game but what she didn't know about this game of predator and prey that they had been playing was that their connection went well beyond a game of cat and mouse, they completed each other in a way that no one else could which what made their games never-ending. Another new to me author, with a well written, darker bully themed romance with the hero being a bit of a stalker, this is not a hearts and flowers romance its gritty and dirty and I loved it. Well written. 5 out of 5 stars 3 - Rage's Claim - by Winter Sloane Cassie Quinn the daughter of Nolan "Breaker"Quinn, the President of the Death Seekers MC had left the life of a being a club princess behind and tried to make a new life for herself in the city. However when members of The Devil's Kings MC come to take and hurt Cassie the last thing she expected was to have Rage - Randall Cobb/Colman a blast from the past to come and save her or to be a member of her father's club. The intriguing thing about this story was the role reversal of the bully. Instead of it being the male it was the female but it wasn't really addressed after being explained, there was no apology or remorse shown for past actions. However both adults now, grown up with an undeniable chemistry this is a fast paced, action packed mc romance that I did enjoy. 4 out of 5 stars. 4 - Confliction - by Roe Valentine Anya Sanchez was studying investigative journalism and almost at the end of her course. She meeded to complete a six week summer course to graduate, a course being taught by Ursin Miller the youngest District Attorney. Anya knew of Ursin from her past they had a history and it made their current roles of student and teacher more strained than most. Their history plus their bubbling chemistry could destroy them both. At twenty two Anya is of age and at thirty four Ursin is older but it is all consensual. The Forbidden part is the university rules plus the Confliction of the past that they need to try and overcome. This was well written, a good plot and another new to me author. 4 out of 5 stars. 5 - Blackmailed - by Sam Crescent and Stacey Espino Emily Sutton lives a simple life, her and the dogs she cares for and tries to rehome through the local shelter. She is happy with her lot but her world changes in every way imaginable when Dalton Moore the childhood bully she grew up with returns to town and wants to claim her for his own. This is a bully romance where the bully acknowledges and apologises fir his actions. A fast paced story with lots of heat and happy puppies with some twists along the way. Another excellent read delivered by this talented author duo. 4 out of 5 stars. 6 - Tutoring The Beast - by Jade Marshall The Delgado Cartel, 2. Matthias Delgado is at college studying ready to take his place within his father's organisation. His life is set out for him, college, engaged, marriage to help the family business. He is set to marry Amber, a vile human with psychotic tendencies but who is heart truly belongs to is the beautiful Kaelie Carter. Kaelie bewitched him the minute that their eyes met and they spent a magical weekend together. They both have changed, moved forward and with secrets and regret between them they truly need to fight for what they want. Another new to me author with a well written story I really enjoyed. 4 out of 5 stars. 7 - Blood Red Rose - by Elyzabeth M. VaLey Gigi - Geraldine Evans was leaving late from work, it was dark out and all she wanted was to go home. Not to witness a murder carried out by the mob. Mario Ludovico is the Head capo in his family's organisation. He was dealing with a threat when he was witnessed by a woman he never planned for. He has to find her and make sure she doesn't go to the cops. This was a darker romance with scenes where Gigi fought her attraction to Mario, but was coerced, she followed his instructions and lost herself within him just as he did her at the end this is darker and not a hearts and flowers fairytale but it is theirs. 4 out of 5 stars 8 - Ignite - by Beth D. Carter Reece Remington is a firefighter who is going through a tough time after suffering a great tragedy. When his best friend Dan asks him to help him out he wasn't expecting it to lead him to Marnie Fox, she instantly caught his attention and he couldn't get enough of her. Their meeting wasn't ideal and initial time together not the way most relationships begin but they didn't seem to mind. Another well written story from a new to me author. Clever plot, good detail all making an enjoyable read. 4 out of 5 stars. 9 - A Spark Without Air - by D.C. Stone Violet Levine left her life behind as soon as she could, bullied and blamed for the behaviour of her mother, accused of being just like her by everyone she had no one in her corner. Then one unexpected night she finds herself trapped with her childhood friend and bully Elijah Cunningham and the realisation that they have both changed, grown up, faced their pasts they find their feelings for each other soon take another turn that neither can deny. Another new to me author who wrote an enjoyable read, I would of liked more of an ending though but that is because I wanted so much more for these characters. 4 out of 5 stars. 10 - A Seal's Obsession - by Lila Fox Skye is fascinated by the Badboy that everyone seems wary of. Jared Atkinson is a loner and he likes it that way, he doesn't have a great home life and is determined to join the seals nothing will deter him but there is something about Skye that calls to him. These characters both had difficult upbringings yet are drawn to each other like magnets but although they want each other they still have a lot of emotions they need to work through to find their happily ever after. Another new to me author and a really enjoyable story, I couldn't put it down. 5 out of 5 stars. 11 - The Ice Man's Melt - by Lee Ann Sontheimer Murphy Javier Jesus Morales is a hit man, after leaving the army as a sniper it was a natural progression for him. He is the best, his jobs always clean, no witnesses until Cecily Randolph DeLauncy. Now he has to figure out what to do with her. Fast paced story, another new to me author, a good read. 4 out of 4 stars 12 - What's His Problem? - by Lily Harlem Celeste Barclay has just landed a new job as a reporter, she loves her work and she can't wait to get started. What she wasn't banking on was Ezra Todd. Her new immediate boss and his surly attitude which infuriates her. But as they say there is a thin line between love and hate. These are two great characters with heart and reasons for their grumpiness. I really enjoyed this read and how everything turned out. 5 out of 5. This is a really enjoyable boxset overall and a great way to meet and read new to you authors and get a taste for their writing. As I say not all of these stories are hearts and flowers so please bare that in mind. Happy Reading. Tell Me Lies Anthology contains 12 stories by various authors. The themes are darker and could be potentially triggering for some readers. Their is betrayal, deception, bullying, blackmail, power, lust, obsession, redemption and love. Each story is unique and show the darker way to real love. I loved the anthology overall, some stories intrigued me more, some less. My absolutely favorite story was "Blackmail" by Sam Crescent & Stacey Espino Dalton forces Emily through blackmail in a relationship with him. She can’t really understand why he would want her, because she always thought he hate her since high school. He was always in love with her, but resorted to bullying, because he couldn’t handle his emotions and home situation, but since he got her back he plans to never let her go. They navigate through danger, past emotions and memories to find their happily ever after.
Loved reading Tell Me Lies. Once I started reading this book I couldn’t put it down because it was so good. It’s always nice to find a good Anthology book because you get a group of authors that come together in one book. Awesome Book!!

This is a great collection of short stories. I enjoyed most of the books even though a few were not for me. Some of these are definitely dark and twisted and have lots of heat. I really enjoyed Blood Red Rose by Elyzabeth M VaLey. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Blackmail to love. Also, enjoyed the stories by Sam Crescent, Jade Marshall and Beth D. carter. Highly recommend this anthology.
All of these stories are GREAT! I knew there were be at least a few good ones since some of the authors I read have contributed, but I was wowed by all the stories! Thank goodness they are short enough that I could put my Kindle down to sleep without leaving a story incomplete. These stores were all very good; great characters, dark but somewhat redeemable anti-heroes, wonderful heroines, lots of action and suspense, and of course just the right amount of spice! Spend 20-30 minutes per story; the perfect amount of time to read for a break or right before bed for sweet dreams!
Speaking of masterpiece. This one has all the author I love. It was beautiful and I could not put it down. The' bullies' in here are not the bullies we used to. These are those who are protective and loving ones. I really enjoyed this one and I recommend to all who enjoy strong male kinda books. Good jobs

Having a book with all this goodness is my kind of book. I enjoyed this book and definitely would read another. Binge worthy.
So... I started out writing a brief summary of each story. I'm not going to go on and on as giving cliff notes. I will say as a compilation of the stories. Some were good, some great, others very predictable. But all in all, great read!
While I haven't read all the stories in this anthology, I did enjoy quite a few of them. Some are a bit darker than others but all I've read have been well written. I especially enjoyed Sam Crescent and Stacey Espino's story, Blackmailed. Dalton and Emily were perfect for each other. If you want some quick stories full of heat, angst and steam, be sure to pick this anthology up!
