London Menage, 1

My husband has a secret. Desires he’s kept locked away in a deep, dark place.

Determined to pry details of this forbidden longing, I had no idea how much this new side of him would turn me on. So when I met the object of his lust I couldn’t let it rest.

Edward Mooreland was a force to be reckoned with, a man who fought for his country and what he wanted. But did he want me and my husband? Would I ever experience his passion let loose or would I remain on the sidelines, watching, waiting, hoping?

One thing I knew, I wasn’t the type of girl to give in without a fight. I wanted to be part of the action too. More than part of it, I wanted to be in the goddamn middle of it with bells, whistles and fireworks when it all exploded. Yes…I wanted it all.

Excerpt:

I led him into the lounge and we sat side by side on the sofa. He was perched on the edge, his body tense.

I took his hand, spread out his fingers and pressed a kiss to the center of his palm. “Coben, please, we’ve always been honest with each other about everything.”

“I know.” A small tendon flexed in his cheek beneath his blond stubble.

“And I know there’s more than meets the eye to you and Ed.”

“But—”

“And it’s not a problem.” Again I kissed his hand, then rested it against my cheek. “I love you. I have from day one. You’ve got me, big time. Nothing is going to change that.”

“I’m glad to hear it.” His mouth twitched into a smile.

“And you told me way back that you’d flirted with being bi, that you’d had feelings for another man before. I’m hardly shocked to my core. I knew this about you before we married.”

He nodded, shoved his hand through his hair and rested back on the sofa. Some of the tension seemed to seep from his body into the cushions.

“Bi,” he repeated. “I suppose everything has to have a label these days.”

“Not for me. I just want you to know it’s not an issue in my world.”

“I know it isn’t. Really I do.” He stroked my cheek, then down my arm, took my hand in his and clasped it.

“So are you going to tell me about Ed?”

“It’s complicated.”

“Why?”

“Because…well, it was a long time ago.”

“It was about two minutes ago.” I raised my eyebrows. “And hey, the guy is seriously hot. Who the hell wouldn’t fancy the pants off him?”

“You think he’s hot?”

“Hell yeah!”

“He is.” Coben chuckled, though it was a bit strained. “But let’s just say the military are not quite as understanding as you are, Sian.”

“But you’re not in the military, not now.”

He went deathly serious again. “No but he is, and he’s high ranking. Society might have moved on but the Air Force, certainly some sections of it, aren’t so free spirited.”

“So he is gay?”

“Well, I’ve known him to have his fair share of fun with ladies so…”

A small thrill went through me. So Ed wasn’t totally off limits, out of range, off the radar. Maybe he liked me a little too? Perhaps that threesome fantasy…

I shook my head. I was getting ahead of myself, again. “He’s bi?”

“There’s that label, Sian.”

I shrugged. “So tell me more.”

“I think he’s only ever had feelings for me.”

“What do you mean?”

“I think I’m the only bloke he’s ever, you know, kissed, but of course that might be different now. I didn’t ask.”

I leaned forward and set my lips on his—lips that had kissed Ed! I wished I could have seen them kiss. Just the thought made me tingle between my legs. “So this kiss, was it when you were both serving?”

He swallowed. “Yes, but it was hard. We had to keep it a secret that we were into each other.” He reached out and cupped my cheeks. His brow creased into a frown. “And you must too, Sian. It’s not fair on him if anything gets out about his sexuality. That would be his choice not ours.”

“Of course I wouldn’t say anything. Why would I and who to?”

“I don’t know. I’m just saying.”

“But don’t you get it?” I shifted and straddled him, my knees bent against his thighs and my pussy, pressing through my knickers, over the creases in his denims and onto his cock. “The thought of you and Ed together turns me on.” I sank a little lower onto him. “I’ve told you that before. I can’t explain it, but the thought of you, and another man, him…”

He ran his hands up my thighs, bunching my skirt. He watched it ruck around his wrists and appeared lost in his thoughts.

“Tell me,” I said quietly. “What else did you do other than kiss? What else had to be kept secret?”

Oh God, will he give me details?

He shook his head slightly.

“Tell me.” I ran my hands beneath his t-shirt and slipped them over his pecs, leaned forward and kissed him. “Did he suck your cock? Did he suck it the way I do?”

His breathing hitched.

I sank a little lower on him and was rewarded with a hardening. “He did, didn’t he? Suck you, that is.”

“Yes,” he whispered onto my lips.

Fuck, he’s admitted it.

“But not the way you do it.”

That surprised me. How many ways were there to suck a cock? “Explain.” I pulled at his t-shirt.

He slipped it over his head, threw it to one side.

“Just different.” He reached for my top, tugged it off and dropped it next to his.

“How?”

He licked his lips and looked at my breasts. “I dunno, it’s just more…rough with a man, more raw.”

“You mean you didn’t worry about his gag?” I could see it now. Ed on his knees, Coben, my husband, ramming his cock in and out of that gorgeous mouth, ecstasy all over his face—Coben loved being sucked off.

“Yeah, I guess, real…deep throat.”

“Fucking hell,” I murmured, capturing his mouth in a kiss and pushing my tongue against his. I wanted him. My body was buzzing for his. He was hard now and I writhed against him as I fumbled with the button on his jeans.

“And you sucked him?” I asked, my lips moving against his.

“Sian.” He shoved at his jeans, pushed at his boxers and his cock jutted upward.

“What?”

He pulled the gusset of my knickers aside and lined his cock with my entrance.

I sank down. “Ah, yeah…tell me…tell me everything.” I gasped. He was stretching me so much, this position, it felt wonderful for that first entry.

“Yes, I sucked him. We were…lovers,” he said, pushing up my bra so he could cup my breasts.

“Lovers,” I repeated.

“Yes, like we are. Ed and I were together…we did…everything.” He pulled me to him and shoved his tongue into my mouth.

Everything!

Fabulous menage.
Written by karen s on 4th Apr 2016

Excuse me while I sit in the freezer to cool down! The indomitable queen of steam triumphs once again with this incredibly sexy and emotional ménage story. It opens with a corker of an M/M scene that will linger in your head for a very long time. This story is filled with lost love, new love and second chances. The emotions are raw and flow off the page into your heart. The sex is off the charts hot, who doesn't love a combo of M/M/F, M/F and M/M. This book is like entering a sweet shop and finding your favourite pick n mix goodies just waiting to be put in your mouth and savoured. Copy kindly gifted by author for honest review.

Reading just one little chapter became a late night as I devoured this story. Ms. Harlem is an author of renown. I see her name and I know she writes good books. I have friends who like her. She is prolific in the erotic genre. I read a couple of her books a few years ago and they were enjoyable if forgettable. MUSCLING IN caught my attention and I figured I would try her again. I am so glad I did. Ms. Harlem's writing has definitely matured since I last read her books. I really enjoyed this book and will remember it. I will most likely go back and read this book again. What pulls me in are the characters. Edward, Sian and Coben are a tasty triad. The relationship between Edward and Coben is a blazing flame put out too soon. When Coben marries Sian, it appears Coben finds another love and is happy with life. Coben and Sian are a cute couple. They are people who feel real. They could easily be a friend in real life. The way they are created makes them relatable. Their love for each other even after the "honeymoon" phase is fun, kinky and hawt. Ms. Harlem does a nice job of showing just enough of their careers to tie this story all together. And this is what catches me and keeps me riveted. Sian is a tattoo artist who happens to have Edward as a client. When she meets Edward again at a party with her husband Corben, their worlds collide. When reading this story, I keep hearing the worlds of Never Tear Us Apart by INXS. These three are meant to be. When they come together, it works out so well, even when there are a few ups and downs. It is nice to see the conflicts are not contrived misunderstandings or emotional temper tantrums. Instead, the conflicts are plausible relationship strains due to more than two in this tango. In addition, Edward's job is high stress for those who love him. This is all portrayed in a beautiful manner, including the spicy sex scenes which I savoured. As a strong supporter of military personnel, this story hits all the right notes and makes my heart sing in happiness. I enjoyed this story and recommended it to ménage lovers who want a glimpse into how good a threesome can be. And if you enjoy mmf erotic loving, this book is for you. - See more at: http://glbt.theromancereviews.com/viewbooksreview.php?bookid=20040#sthash.zGSPJ7FN.dpuf

Love Bytes

If you want to have a glimpse into the narration of this story, I strongly suggest you read the blurb. I’ll admit I saw MMF and put my hand up to read this story without doing so. After finishing the book, I came back and read it and it is absolutely the voice of our heroine, Sian. A lot of people who enjoy MM stories do so to avoid heroines who are likely to drive the reader crazy. In fact, I’ve read a lot of MF books in which the heroine has driven me crazy. Thankfully that did not happen in this story. Sian has to be one of the most refreshing heroines I’ve encountered in an extremely long time. Although she calls a spade a spade, it was nice to be shown she also had some vulnerabilities. The prologue is off the charts hot and serves as an intro to the delicious characters, Ed and Coben, giving the reader a glimpse into their stolen moments while serving together in the military. From there we jump forward to the lives of Sian and Coben and through a chance meeting at a client’s home all three are thrown into the path of each other’s lives. Sian is a smart cookie and it doesn’t take her long to figure out the men have been more than friends in the past. I really like the way the couple deal with this, and then all three as a trio. Emotions run high but thankfully the story didn’t cross into convoluted drama for the sake of so-called driving the plot! I don’t want to divulge too much, as I’d hate to ruin a single moment of this story for potential reader. The epilogue is told from Ed’s point of view and finishes the story off perfectly. In short this story contained so many things I love in a good story. It went straight to my favorites shelf and I’ll shout out to all and sundry to read this book! Bear in mind, I’m a huge fan of FF erotic so for me to be jumping up and down about a MMF book with plenty of MM action is no small feat for an author to pull off. Contains – sexy military men, a no holds barred heroine, who is a tattooist to boot, a motorbike riding hero, MM action and hot three-way action. Sigh, be still my beating heart.

Beautifully Erotic
Written by Octavia's Kindle on 14th Nov 2015

The love shared between the characters was hot and heavy. The understanding of Sian was very open-minded if not a little bit unbelievable. The story was good and didn't bore me with typical romance plots. I am a fan of Lily Harlem and I say this was good, not her best but good nonetheless.

Seriously steamy
Written by Ali Greig on 1st Nov 2015

I have been looking forward to reading this book for ages and boy it did not disappoint. With one of the sexiest prologues I have ever read, this book starts of with a bang. Edward & Corben are both military but have to keep their affair under the radar. Corben leaves his heart behind when he walks away from that life and Ed. Years later and Corben is happily married to Sian - they share everything - even their fantasies - including the thought of a threesome. Whilst at work, Sian is asked to ink a tall, dark stranger, who happens to be called Ed... With some sublime MM, MF & MMF scenes Lily just proves she is the queen of threesomes!

Sexy satisfying menage romance!
Written by V. Rundell of V's Reads on 1st Nov 2015

I loved this contemporary erotic menage romance. (M/M/F and M/M and M/F/M) Coben spent the last year of his service in the Royal Air Force in a clandestine love affair with a fellow soldier, Edward. They had a passion that was exceptional, but Coben wanted out of the military and Edward was planning to move higher in the ranks into the SAS. They share a bittersweet goodbye, and vow to always love one another, even if they never see each other again. Five years passes, and Sian has married Coben. She's elated in her marriage, and thrilled to have such an attentive husband. They are adventurous in the bedroom (or wherever!) and openly discuss their fantasies, including the possibility of bringing a third into bed--as a treat. It's not a fully-formed idea, but Sian is intrigued by the possibility of having two men at once, and also, indulging Coben in his desire to be with a man--one fantasy he had previously confessed to. Sian meets Ed, a gorgeous military man, when he shows up at her tattoo parlor, and they hit it off. Then, he's a guest at a dinner party she and Coben attend. She can't shake the feeling that Coben and Ed are unsettled around each other. Her intuition is correct, and she begins to press Coben to interact with Ed--finding out their history together is a huge bonus. This is a super sexy, erotic menage romance that really satisfies. I loved how Edward and Coben were so caring toward each other and Sian. The sexytimes are delicious and kept me awake and reading long after bedtime. There was no jealousy, only affection and understanding. None of the players seemed to feel left out--they were all engaged throughout the story. Their unconventional romance was a treat to experience, and it's an HEA X 3.

Sexy and emotional read
Written by Doris on 29th Oct 2015

Such a sexy and emotional read! This author is fast making it into my favourite authors list. This is only the second book of hers I've read, and once again she blew me away. She brings a depth of emotion and connection to the page that utterly draws you into the story. I was invested in the characters from the first page, and the story never lost its intensity. There is only small criticism, and I have to say that pulled me out of the story a tad. They all spend a day at Brighton Beach in the sand dunes, and on the sandy beach... err no. Poetic licence I'm sure, and the imagery was certainly hot, but as regulars to Brighton Beach, I can say there are pebbles not sand! *smiles* Other than that, fabulous read :-)
