A lovely story about Dominik and Tessa. From the first moment they have feelings for each other but they don't know that about each other. It was nice to read the way they interacted and how sweet Dominik was to Tessa. This is definitely a must read.

I loved reading Tessa and Dominik’s story in Forbidden passion by Lila Fox. From the minute she saw him in the bar she knew that he was her other half. Dominik felt the same way but believed their life’s were too different to be together. He believed his crappy backer would scare her off but he soon learns that they are more alike than he ever knew. The more they are together the more the passion grows between them. He will do whatever it takes to keep her safe and with him.
Love this authors way of delivering a punch of a romance book... she knows how to get you hooked! And hooked I was! I couldn't put this down! Cannot wait for her next book!

It was a nice book, easy to read. I understand his reluctancy to get to stop fighting his feeling for her, but everytime that she was trying something and got rejected and then try again, I felt like she was already not understanding the message. But at the end they were able to be together.

Dominik wanted nothing else than to claim Tessa but they were from different worlds and her would be too much for her. He knew that if he started something with her and she left him, he would never recover. When a man tries to hurt Tessa, it is Dominik who saves her but he fights his attraction to her until he finds outs a little about her. Maybe she would want to stay with him always. This is not a sweet tale, there is a lot of angst mostly due to lack of communication and assumptions.
Tessa and Dominik story is a quick read. It's spicy, dramatic. I enjoyed and I recommend this story.
This is such a fantastic book. It is an emotional read but ends with the best happily ever after. Tessa has been in love with Dominik since the first time she saw him at the local bar. She doesn't know it, but the feeling is mutual. I love Dominik's OTT ways and the care he has for Tessa. Excellent book with lots of spice.
This was a nice, fast read. Dominik is a hard man. Big, gruff and in love with Tessa but he's not good enough for her. Or so he thinks. Tessa is tiny, brave and feels the same was about Dominik as he does her but the stubborn man is having none of it, until turning her away becomes dangerous for her. I enjoyed this book and the sweet ending.
Forbidden Passion is a page-turner full of drama, a little action in the form of intimidation and guys who won't take no for an answer, a steamy hot romance, and a love that was meant to be. From the beginning pages it is obvious that Tessa and Dominik's are destined, and that their passion is anything but forbidden. There is a realness, intenseness, and vulnerability about their feelings for another that is palpable. It stems from how they grew up. It makes them good together, once they learn to communicate and leads to a very happily ever after.

When Dominic FINALLY pulls his head out of the sand he finds she is everything he ever dreamed of and more. The path to their HEA is met with some drama but both come out stronger for it.
This is a short read and very good. Anger arises at the beginning of the book. It stays for a while. Then hope, then hopelessness then upset and last happy. Tessa has noticed Dominik on a few occasions at the local bar. She has been waiting on him to make the first move and she decides she will make it instead. Dominik just wanted to push her away thinking he wasn't good enough for her. Will he get over his fear? How does Tessa feel after her @tt@ck? What does Dominik due? Will they have a real relationship? Let's finish reading to find out!
This book is full of drama, angst, a bit of action as well, steam, passion and of course lots of love. It’s not sweet, but steamy, angsty, captivating, intense, forbidden, thrilling and emotional. I really loved to see them get their happy ending and immensely enjoyed getting to know this two.

This is a fairly short and quick read that warms the heart. There is a bit of danger, suspense, violence and a possible trigger.
Totally drawn into this page turner of a book. Tessa and Dominik have both been through quite a bit, but I think that they are stronger for it. The protective streak Dominik has for Tessa made me swoon. I absolutely enjoyed reading their story very much.

This story was very intense. Tessa had always been attracted to Dominik. He was also attracted to her but didn't think he was good enough for her. He didn't know her background. I love how alpha male Dominik was. He did what he had to do to protect Tessa. She was always scared he was going to leave her. They were both vulnerable toward each other. Both of them had difficult childhoods which made it hard to trust. Their chemistry was so good. Very enjoyable story.
This was a great romance for Tessa and Dominik but it wasn't without it's drama. These two are drawn to each other but he really resisted until she was attacked... Both of them have baggage from their childhoods that really bring their vulnerability to love out to play. They were so real and their communication issues gave everything both an intensity and also a weakness. I was thrilled to see them get their happy ending and especially love how they worked to bring foster children in to their sphere of love. Definitely a re-read romance for me and I look forward to what's next by this author :D
A dark read but yet not. Both Dominik and Tessa have dark pasts that they have overcome, but their pasts still linger in the present. Lots of heat but yet angst from others and lack of verbal communication. The story keeps the reader engaged and the angst helps build the plot and moves it along.
Lila has done it again. This is a great story with slightly dark overtones and grabs you from the first page. Tessa and Dominik are great characters and show you that sometimes your past doesn't have to ruin your future. You have to read this to truly appreciate it.
