Harper,” he murmured, reaching for her as she stepped into his arms.

The moment their bodies touched, the world seemed to narrow down to just the two of them. Harper tilted her head up, her lips seeking his again, and Jaxon met her halfway.

This kiss was different from the one on the doorstep—hungrier, more desperate, as if they were trying to make up for lost time.

Jaxon roamed his hands over her back, his touch igniting sparks along her skin. Harper tangled her fingers in his hair, pulling him closer, needing to feel every inch of him.

Their breaths mingled, their kisses growing deeper, more urgent, until they were both consumed by the heat building between them. His muscled body felt amazing against hers, solid like she remembered, a contrast to her softness.

“Are you sure?” Jaxon asked, his voice rough, his forehead resting against hers.

Harper nodded, her eyes shining with certainty. “Yes. I want this. I want you.”

That was all the encouragement Jaxon needed. He scooped her up effortlessly, cradling her against his chest as he carried her down the hallway to her bedroom.

The door closed behind them with a soft click, sealing them in a world of their own making.

He laid her gently on the bed, his gaze never leaving hers as he leaned down, capturing her lips once more. Harper arched beneath him, and she used her hands to explore the expanse of his back, savoring the feel of his muscles tensing under her touch.

Jaxon left a trail of kisses down her neck, his teeth grazing her skin just enough to make her shiver.

Every touch, every kiss, was a reclamation of something they had lost, a bridge between the past and the present.

Jaxon’s hands were skilled, knowing exactly where to touch, how to draw soft moans from her lips. Harper felt as if she were drowning in him, and she didn’t want to come up for air.

I love a MC romance especially a second chance romance. I read the first novel in this series and really enjoyed it! Although this novel is short it did not disappoint. I was excited to jump back into this series. From the first chapter it pulled me right back into this series and held on tight until last chapter. This was a very quick read for me. Once I started reading I didn't put this novel down. I loved Harper and Jaxon's story. I love that they got their second chance at love and that Jaxon got to know his daughter that he was unaware of. Their chemistry was so good! I loved it! I loved how protective Jaxon was with his family. I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next.

I loved book 1 but this was was amazing. Well written and the story was amazing. I really enjoyed it so much. The chemistry and story was so great. Loved Winter Sloane so much.

Second Chance Romance

A beautiful second chance at love story. Jaxon and Harper had a relationship years ago until she suddenly disappeared. Now years later she is back but is reserved and Jaxon understands it when he sees her daughter Mia and then he realizes that she is also his daughter. Will they get back together and can he regain her trust and build a bond with his daughter and Harper? And what was the reason that she suddenly disappeared years ago. A wonderful story and definitely worth reading.

Jaxon has always considered Harper the one who got away. Running into her again proved he still has feelings for her and she has a surprise for him I. The form of a daughter. Harper was afraid to stay in his dangerous world but when they reconnected she realized walking away from him was the biggest mistake ever. Now that danger is circling it proves they are stronger together. It’s a fast read with a great story that sucks you in from the beginning.

A powerful story

Jaxon hasn’t seen Harper in a few years and still can’t figure out why she left so abruptly. When he meets her again he goes to say hi he meets a little one who is a beautiful combination of both of them. Once they start reconnecting things are going well until an enemy of Jaxon’s decides to make his presence known. This short book packs a wallop with wonderful characters and twists I didn’t expect.

I really enjoyed reading this book. There was loads of action and intrigue for readers. The story had a good flow and was well written. Loads of steam and heat for readers. Looking forward to reading the next book.

I was really impressed by how our main character dealt with the situation! It got me thinking about why the female lead decided to leave in the first place. His lifestyle definitely has its risks, and it makes you wonder if she’s ready to take that leap for a chance at happiness. After all, he promised he would always be there to keep them safe!

Jaxon Reeves is one of the Iron Sentinels MC (ISMC) and at 38, they were the only family that truly cared about him, not even his own. Harper Davis was the one who got away, 3 years previous. Their intense relationship ends quickly and he had never understood what had gone wrong. She’d been busy with the bookstore and then a little girl calls her mommy in front of Jaxon. He realizes who she is, his daughter. So, he works on getting to the point where he and Harper can talk and tells Gunner the VP about it. Needing to be a part of his found daughter’s life, they talk and Harper & Jaxon are still drawn to each other. Mia is five. Then one day, Troy, of his MC tells him that some of the Blood Vipers start problems at the bookstore and Jax and some of the MC head out to deal with them. Bad thing is, the enemy now knows Jax’s weakness- Harper & Mia. Things go the heck real quickly and mischief and mayhem happen and things get scary for Jax’s girls. But, the MC steps in and kicks butt. I love how Jax & Harper are with Mia. Mia is adorable and I love her. Things go from bad to worse then they get better. The fights are awesome and I can’t wait to see what happens next. The book is fun, funny, steamy, romantic, scary and awesome.

This was such a good book. Harper and Jaxon were involved and when Harper found out she was pregnant she ran finding herself to scared to let him know she was pregnant. 5 years later she finds herself back in the town that she had escaped, and it isn't long before Jaxon runs into Harper and their little daughter. This was such a sweet second chance story. The chemistry between the two comes back and they find their relationship is much richer and they are more open to things when it all comes out. This was an enjoyable reading experience.

Jaxon has never forgot about Harper, they were so good together and she up an disappeared. When he sees her for the first time in years, the same feelings are there but she seems hesitant, he is not sure why. That all changes when he sees her with her daughter, that has her hair and his eyes. Why did she run from him and keep his daughter from him? This is short and steamy with plenty of action from a rival club.

This book had me deep in thought. I loved the book. Jaxon was written amazingly. His huge heart, his protective streak, his loyalty. Jaxon’s actions and heart just multiply how sexy he is. Harper, I wish there was a little more back story to why she ran off and never told him why or her secret. All and all, I loved the book and can’t wait for the next one in the series.

A Quick Second Chance MC Book

Jaxon is a member of the Iron Sentinels MC and Harper is the one that got away. Now five years later Harper is back in town but she’s not alone. I loved watching their relationship grow. Jaxon would do anything to protect Harper and Mia. There was club drama as well which put Harper and Mia in danger. Would the club be able to rescue them before their nemesis could take the girls down?

Perfect for when there's only a short amount of time but you want a great distraction!

This was an engaging second chance romance for Jaxon and Harper. When Jaxon sees Harper again, he's more than ready to try anew, after years of separation. He finds out he is her daughter's father and this just solidifies his drive to to be everything to Harper and Mia. Sadly, danger surrounds them and they have to fight to get to their steamy HEA. I really enjoyed this story but would have loved it to be longer to better flesh out the details. I'm looking forward to what's next by this author :D
