All Victoria ever wanted was a home to call her own. Her life had been one apartment after another, and she craved roots. When her dream finally came true, someone else wanted to take it from her. Cole’s head dropped, and his mouth covered one of her nipples and sucked deeply, pulling a desperate moan from her throat. Her breasts were larger than he’d thought they’d be, and her nipples were a pretty pink. He continued to suckle her until she withered on the bed. He gritted his teeth at the sounds that were close to what a kitten sounded like, and it just made his passion ramp up another level.
He lifted his head and took her mouth. At the same time, his hand slid down and under her panties. His tongue continued to sink into her mouth as his fingertips learned what made her squirm.

“It’s okay. I’ve got you. I won’t let anything happen to you.” Cole felt a moment of relief when she seemed to relax, giving him her trust. He felt the blood rush through his veins at the heady feeling. “You’re doing so good, baby. “Yesss,” she hissed as her fingers dug into the layers of muscles on his smooth back.
Cole exhaled in relief before he took a deep breath and let himself go, knowing now he wasn’t hurting her.
For several minutes, all they felt was his pounding need and her complete surrender to the pleasure he was giving her, the smell of sex and sweat of their passion floating around them, and they listened to the blissful moans of the other.
His rigid control was the only thing holding his orgasm off as he pushed her toward her third orgasm.

This book was a really emotionally charged read for sure. It hooked me in from the beginning--Lila Fox can write a great story that is for sure. She packs so much in a shorter style read. Recommend this one so much.
Victoria and Cole's story holds your attention from the very beginning. Both own a ranch and live next door to each other. After inheriting her ranch, it is hard and difficult to keep it running. Cole is eyeing her ranch because he thinks she won't be able to keep it afloat, and offers to buy it from her. There is some drama, suspense, romance, and steamy moments between them. You will find out whether she manages to keep the ranch running and prove Cole wrong when you read their story. Highly recommended!
Victoria is independent, determined and stubborn so when she inherits her uncles ranch she begins working it. Cole is her neighbor and he comes in looking at her with the wrong assumptions. Their love story is full of chemistry, misunderstandings and cumulates to a HEA. I was hooked from the beginning and didn’t want to put it down. This is a great addition to this excellent series and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
She moved into a ranch. Something for her. Her neighbor kept trying to buy it off her, but the chemistry developed and turned into more. I enjoyed this book because it was a joy to read, well written and a lovely love story.
I loved this story! He’s hard as nails and she’s tough as nails! She takes over her uncle’s ranch and he wants to buy it, but when they figure out that they don’t want to be with out each other things heat up! You’ll love this novella if you like cowboys, ranches and their cowgirls!
Book 2 of the Ranchers of Madison County series. Can be read as a standalone. 'But first, he had to fix the misconceptions he inadvertently gave her, and then he’d have her for good if she didn’t kill herself first or give him a heart attack.' The characters were very appealing and likeable and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. All in all a great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!

And we are back with the Ranchers of Madison County. Victoria and Cole’s story is filled with instant attraction, chemistry, misunderstandings, healing, passion and love. I especially enjoyed Victoria. She had a rough life, carried her scars and insecurities from that time, but is also determined, strong and lovable.

This is a great book and I loved it. It is mild enemies to lovers story and ends in a happy ending. There is a great storyline there too.

Victoria has had a hard life, a mother that was absent even when was around and an unknown father. She inherits her uncles ranch, the only place she felt safe. After moving to the ranch, Victoria meets Cole. What follows is the development of an intense relationship filled with heat and smolder but also misunderstandings which threaten their connection. Lots of emotions in this read.
This is another engaging and spicy addition to the series and I have to say that I really like how this one unfolded. Victoria is so used to handling everything herself that she's got a spine of steel and a ton of determination. She's inherited her uncle's ranch and sets about learning and doing what she can, despite the dangers. However, meeting Cole has shaken things up quite a bit. Mostly for him, though ;P He's hooked the moment he sees her...well, after an initial misunderstanding, but he's definitely hooked ;P However, he makes assumptions that have him threatening her bottom but finds he's the one that's wrong. Again and again. He definitely was schooled by her but gave her everything she needed to truly thrive and be happy. This was a one-sit read for me and I'm looking forward to the next book :D

The banter, inner struggles, and jumping to conclusions will keep you entertained. Of course, there are plenty of hot scenes as well...
