A Mondez Novel, 2

Twenty-two year old Riley Sears promises herself never to fall in love unless it's with a guy who is long-term boyfriend material. She's not crazy, her psychologist reassures her of that, but when faced with situations she cannot control, well, her anxiety skyrockets.

Enter Dominic Mondez, the hottest creature ever to grace pecs and abs. The notorious playboy propositions Riley with the best sex of her life—his words. However, after learning he never sleeps with the same woman twice, Riley’s decision becomes remarkably simple.

No. Way. In. Hell.

Sadly, traversing the murky waters of friends without benefits is far from simple, especially since Dominic is the lead guitarist of local rock band, Mondez. He is also tempestuous, a womanizer, and—even worse—inexplicably jealous. Dominic is bad for Riley in every possible way. Bad, bad, bad.

If only her body would listen.

Excerpt:

He was watching me, I could feel it. My body sensed him long before my head did and started tingling. Everywhere.

Oh, holy mother.

Just the thought of him made my heart pound. Traitorous thing. It merrily rammed against my ribcage as soon as I pictured his tall, muscular body and disheveled russet hair. My fingers itched to reach out and delve through the soft strands as I remembered what it felt like to tug on them as he groaned into my open mouth—but I shifted in my seat and sat on them instead. I wasn’t going down that road again, hell no. I was done.

Done.

A low chuckle cut through the muted sounds of heavy rock music emanating from inside, its gravelly sound resonating with my downstairs department, causing a deep blush to stain my cheeks.

Clearly, I wasn’t fooling anyone.

What in the name of sweet baby Jesus was he even doing here?

I tried so hard to focus on what Sebastian was saying. Thankfully, he held up his end of the conversation despite my unexpected inability to formulate any words. We’d been sitting together for a while without a single awkward pause so I nodded, smiled, and even laughed when required. To be fair, it was a pretty decent pickup attempt. Well, until he showed up.

Blue eyes burned my skin.

You don’t own me, you don’t own me, you don’t

I swallowed, steeled myself and then glanced across the beer garden.

Own me.

Fuck.

Dominic was leaning against the wall, his black button-down shirt almost bursting at the seams. I blamed those insanely strong pecs and biceps. Honestly, they were huge. And the way his dark blue jeans hung enticingly low off narrow hips… It should be illegal. He was going to give someone—AKA me—a cardiac arrest if he wasn’t careful.

I shook my head. With a bottle of beer in one hand and a buxom blonde in the other—this one looked nastier than most—the guy was the physical embodiment of everything I despised. Truly.

If only my body would listen.

Raising the drink to full, kissable lips, he tipped his head back, piercing gaze still locked on me. He then wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, a flicker of emotions I couldn’t identify crossing his face when he noticed my breath catch.

The girl must have registered his distraction too because she started rubbing herself up against him like an overly aroused limpet. Gross. He broke contact with me and looked down at her, a dark smile tugging his lips. After murmuring something in her ear and slapping her on the ass, she giggled. I looked away, that familiar painful knot forming in my stomach once more.

Damn you, Dominic Mondez. Damn you to hell.

Loved it!
Written by Angelina on 5th Jan 2018

Rock my Body by Lee Piper is book two of the Mondez series. Because books one and two run parallel to each other it is suggested that book one be read first as to avoid any spoilers. I did not read the first book but loved this book anyway. This book is about two people who couldn't be any more different finding their way together. Riley Sears feels like she needs to be able to control every situation otherwise her anxiety is out of control. What she can't control much to her dismay is how she feels about Dominic and how her body reacts to him. She can't give in though especially after finding out he's never with the same woman twice. She can't go there. Dominic Mondez is the lead guitarist in his band Mondez. That makes him the ultimate bad boy. He knows women can't get enough of him but there's only one he wants right now. He just wants Riley to give in to one night with him. However, his behavior is slightly confusing when he gets inexplicably jealous anytime Riley gets attention from other men but he has no problem giving attention to any woman around. Both Riley and Dominic's past affect how they act and the decisions they make. Dominic even told Riley he was a broken man. Is there a way for Dominic to overcome his past and be with Riley and only Riley? Can Riley change Dominic's womanizing behavior? This is the first book I've read by this author and I couldn't put it down! There was definitely some witty, sarcastic banter that made reading this book fun!

she’s grown up feeling like she’s not good enough
Written by Angela Hayes on 5th Jan 2018

4 Stars Rock My Body is the second book in the Mondez Series by Lee Piper. It’s a superb, sexy and erotic Rockstar Romance. We meet Riley Spears who has had a hard time dealing with unloving and distant parents, she’s grown up feeling like she’s not good enough. Then, when a relationship she’d had high hopes for failed, Riley decides that she’s never going allow herself to be in an intimate relationship again, without a commitment. Dominic Mondez is the lead guitarist in the band Mondez. He’s a real ladies man- only sleeping with a woman once before going on to his next conquest. He Wants Riley, badly- but she out right refuses his advances. They end up forming a friendship, that will change their outlook and world, forever. Will these two be able to sustain their ‘just friends’ status, or will their simmering chemistry finally explode in overwhelming passion? Will they both finally release their past, in order to embrace the future? The book has a wonderful storyline, that is a real showcase of the author’s masterful writing skills. The characters are believable, complex and endearing. I couldn’t help but connect with them and the story, cheering them on from the sidelines. The story crosses over some with the first book, ‘Rock My World’-Grace and Levi’s story (Grace is Riley’s best friend and Levi is Dominic’s brother and band-mate). I really recommend this story to anyone who loves a sexy, HOT, and entirely captivating Rockstar Romance.

Holy Hot Rocker!
Written by Dawn Daughenbaugh on 5th Jan 2018

5 Star Rock My Body ( A Mondez Novel Book 2 ) By Lee Piper Rock My Body ( A Mondez Novel Book 2 ) By Lee Piper is the second book in the Mondez Series.Although this can be read as a standalone . I would definitely recommend going back and reading the first book in the series. I absolutely loved this book as much as I did the first book. This story has drama, romance and had my emotions all over the place. What can I say I love me a Rocker! This story is about Riley and Dominic. Riley grew up mostly being ignored and treated as if she was a nothing by those who are supposed to love you and cherish not the opposite like Riley's parents did her.She always felt like she wasn't quite good enough. Since none of her relationship have worked she's decided not to be intimate unless there's a commitment. Of cause this all changes when she meets Dominic. Dominic is the lead guitarist of Mondez.Hes super sexy and just calls to her He's also a player and is all for one night stands where Riley is not. .God the chemistry between these two is off the charts and the attraction is definitely there for the both of them. Can these two be more than friends? Can they have a relationship they both deserve? These two had me feeling like I was on a roller-coaster ride at times I was on the edge of my seat. I felt connected to this story and the characters especially Riley. She been through alot yet somehow try to keep going.I could go on and on but I'll leave it. I do highly recommend this book and I look forward to reading more from this author.

I wish these songs were real...
Written by Maura on 5th Jan 2018

Rock My Body – A Mondez Novel Book 2 by Lee Piper – 4 Stars Authors note: “Rock My Body” is Book Two in the Mondez series. The story runs parallel with “Rock My World” and it is therefore advised that each book be read in chronological order to avoid any spoilers. I did not read Book One before Book Two and I was able to enjoy it very much. I will be adding Book One to my TBR. I am someone. I am worthy. I am enough. That’s the mantra that Riley Sears repeats to herself to remind her self that she is important. She is someone who hasn’t always felt wanted or needed and is working through her insecurities with the help of a really good therapist and her friends. Domenic Mondez is “the hottest creature ever to grace pecs and abs”. He’s part of an up and coming rock band and is a one and done kind of guy. He could also benefit from reciting Riley’s mantra. While I enjoyed this story, I was really bothered by the push and pull between H and h. It felt, at times, as if the only thing these two had in common was the desire to get what each wants from the other (him a one night stand and her a relationship). Which I guess, come to think of it, a lot of relationships begin that way. I enjoyed “meeting” the characters in this story and the secondary characters were fun to read also. Honestly, after reading “Rock My Body” I wanted to go run on the beach. The lyrics at the beginning of each chapter where poetry. I wish there was a Spotify list with these songs already available. This was an enjoyable story that I was able to read quickly.

HE PROMISED HER THE BEST NIGHT OF HER LIFE!!
Written by Martha on 5th Jan 2018

Rock My Body is the second book in the A Mondez Series by Lee Piper. Riley Sears has to run off the worst night at work she has ever faced. The things people do that alters a life is very sad for her and tonight was the ultimate in bad situations. So she decides to run from the problem but her psychiatrist says running from your problems doesn’t solve anything. Riley knows it is true but she needs to exert all the energy she can muster and she does until.. She runs into a brick wall named Dominic Mondez. He has to be the hottest man she has ever seen! Being on your backside in front of said hot man is embarrassing enough but then every time he speaks she blushes and it is very noticeable. Dominic has the attention of every bikini clad girl but all he sees is Riley. He is promising her the best night of her life if she will go out with. Then he makes the mistake of telling her that he never dates the same woman twice. Riley knows she can’t be involved with Dominic because she has a tendency to let men get under her skin which causes her loads of anxiety! Can Dominic and Riley be more that friends? Can she keep her anxiety under control with Dominic flashing his hotness around? It doesn’t help that his is in a rock band and very jealous. Lee Piper has written a book that is like riding an emotional rollercoaster in a good way. I would get frustrated with the characters one minute and the next be pulling for them to be together. I really like this book. It started out great and ended up great. You won’t want to put it down. I would recommend reading this book!

Love Lee Piper after reading rock my world I couldn't wait to get my hands on Riley and Dominics story . It is awesome to see how they meet and the way their relationship blossoms , the way they fight the growing attraction for one another from friendship to something more and new that they haven't felt before . From the first book we get a little insight on Riley that I wanted to know more about from the first page my heart went out for the more we knew the more she became a beautiful heroine who has a dragon lady as a mother . Dominic Dominic Dominic and his fine twin self he did frustrate me at times but like the heroine we find his backstory and why he set on his rules and why he is the way that he is . They made a perfect pair with their witty banter and chemistry when they finally gave into temptation lets just say super steamy my kindle was about to self com-bust . It was also wonderful to be in the shadows of Grace and Levi plus to view it from Rileys point of view . You don't have to read book one in the Mondez series but I suggest that you do because it would be more enjoyable in my opinion , can't wait to read more by this author . copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero = 9 heroine = 10 secondary characters = 10 Chemistry = 10 steam = 9 romance = 8 humor = 4 darkness level = 7 enjoyment = 10 angst = 6 action = 4 story line = 10 mystery = 5 character development = 10 pacing = 10 Plot = 10 cover = 10 stars = 5 author = 10 would I recommend this book = yes would I re read this book = yes would I read future books by this author = yes

#MONDEZROCKSMYBODY
Written by Jennifer Pierson: The Power of Three Readers on 5th Jan 2018

Dominic Mondez is the lead guitarist in the local rock band, Mondez, and a super hot playboy. Riley Sears is a twenty-two year woman who is determined to stay away from men who aren't long term boyfriend material. She's in counseling as when faced with situations that she can't control, she has severe anxiety that skyrockets. But when she comes face to face with the drool worthy Dominic, he offers the best sex of her life, and she's tempted until she realizes that he's a giant man whore who never sleeps with the same woman more than once. So she turns him down flat, and they become friends without benefits instead, which doesn't last too long before the lines start to blur, as feelings are developing that they don't know what to do with. Boy, I'm really falling hard for these Mondez boys in a big way. It's not that I'm into man whores, as they make me want to truly throat punch them, but I really loved Dominic. Lee Piper is one of my newer addictions, as her writing style is full of talent, and highly addictive. And while I totally love rock romance, after a while they started to run together, but Mondez is new and fresh with originality, which I can't get enough of. Dominic is yummy even with his commitment issues, while Riley has her own issues, but couldn't help loving her even when she doesn't feel good enough, ( I physically felt her pain at times.). AND, since these stories revolve around a band, the colorful secondaries keep me laughing hard with the perfectly placed humor. This is a great series, which means that I cannot wait for the next book, so all that's left to say is how I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Rock My Body!

one that I loved! This is book two in the Mondez series
Written by Amazon Customer on 5th Jan 2018

Rock My Body- Lee Piper 5 out of 5 stars Rock My Body by Lee Piper was an absolutely incredible book, one that I loved! This is book two in the Mondez series, I hadn’t read the first one and had no difficulties reading this one so I would say it can be read as a standalone. This was an easy read, one that quickly captivated me as I was introduced to Riley and Dominic’s world. I was pulled right in to this beautifully written story and the wonderful game of cat and mouse that they played. Rock My Body is a funny, sweet, heartbreaking and deep story that is full of complex characters. This story had me laughing out loud in one moment and experiencing heartbreak in the next which makes it a must read! Book 2 follows Riley and Dominic, two characters who couldn’t be more different. Riley was easily relatable and honest, her internal monologue was very entertaining. She was such a fun character to read about, she was awkward, witty and honest, and I loved her from the start. Now Dominic on the other hand always managed to frustrate me, he was always honest and open about his intentions yet his actions still bothered me. As much as he frustrated me I still found him to be incredibly intriguing and I loved being able to read his story. This was my first book by Lee Piper and I was so pleased with it, the main characters, as well as, the supporting characters offered a great story. This story would not have been the same without Grace and Mae. Grace really intrigued me, as it seemed like there is a lot more to her then meets the eye and I can’t wait to find out her story in the first book of the series, Rock My World. This romance story is one that I would definitely recommend to others!

Riley’s day could not get any worse, or could it
Written by Sue on 5th Jan 2018

Rock my Body By Lee Piper Rock my body is book two in the Mondez series. Riley’s day could not get any worse, or could it? Today a baby didn’t survive his birth, the mom had been advised during her pregnancy that the baby would not live after it was born but she decided to carry on with her pregnancy anyway hoping for a miracle. Even though Riley knew what would happen it didn’t make the baby’s death any easier. Now her shift was over she needed to clear her head so a run on the beach was calling her. This is where her day couldn’t have got any worse, while running she was in a world of her own and bumped straight in to a pillar that pillar was Dominic’s chest. She fell to the sand and being embarrassed she couldn’t look at him when he offered to help her up. To add to the embarrassment this stranger refused to let her walk back to her car alone. Dominic began to invade her thoughts even though in her own mind nothing was going to happen, Dominic had already told her he never sleeps with the same woman twice and she was looking for more and told him she wouldn’t be his next one-night stand. Riley took Dominic into an area he was not used to and that was to be her friend, he told her he doesn’t know how that would work, she told him that’s all he is going to get. Dominic wasn’t Riley’s only problem, the other was her parents, namely her mother who no matter what Riley did was never going to be good enough for her. Riley was considering not seeing her parents so often as each time she did she came home stressed. So now that Dominic was an added problem she didn’t want she now had to find an answer for the problem he was creating for her. Dominic is persistent in getting Riley to have a one-night stand, will he be successful? Or will Riley finally be able to tame Dominic and take him into a real relationship?

This book can be read as a standalone but I would recommend you reading the first book too
Written by Bobbi Jo Wagner on 5th Jan 2018

Rock My Body (A Mondez Novel Book 2) by Lee Piper is the second book in her A Mondez series. This book can be read as a standalone but I would recommend you reading the first book too, you will enjoy that as much as this one. This story is full of drama, romance and a few other emotions that you won't want to miss. I enjoyed this author's writing style and her creation of characters are just as enjoyable. These characters will pull you in to their world from the first chapter of their story. They are true to life and connectable. You will get pulled into this story from the first chapter and stay engaged until the last page. You will need to find out what happens when a hot playboy meets his challenge. Riley Sears is twenty-two years old and she hasn't had the easiest of things especially when it comes to love. She is determined to find someone that wants a relationship and not a one night stand. When she is faced with situations that she can't control, her anxiety swells. This is when she runs into pecs and abs. Dominic Mondez is in a band and a notorious playboy. He makes it known that he only sleeps with a woman one time then tosses her to the side. When he offers her the best sex in her life, will she take him up on it? Will she give in to him even though he is everything she needs to run from? They become friends without benefits but will that change? Will he convince her that she is different? Riley and Dominic's relationship is one that where there is attraction from the beginning. They have some type of connection to each other. Riley wants so much more then just a one night stand. When he offers himself, she tells him no, but they become friends. Will they become more then friends? When Riley hooks her friend up, will it bring her in even more then she is fighting now? These characters will drive you crazy. She fights the attraction because of her past and insecurities, will she just move forward? He comes off as a jerk sometimes but really he has just a huge heart. They really will bring you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. You will want to see them get their HEA, they relationship just grows throughout the story and so does the romance. The secondary characters also make the story flow evenly and it wouldn't be the same without them. Will she get past her insecurities? Will he move past his commitment problems? When jealousy pokes it nasty head in, what will they do? You will need to read this book to find out what happens to them! This is my first story by Lee Piper and I can't wait to go back and read more. The drama in this story will keep you moving through this story. Lee is a lover of books and you will often find her reading seven books at one time. She decided to start writing after her second miscarriage to escape the pain. This is how her series was born. This is a fast page turner of a story. You will keep turning pages until the very last one. You will lose track of time with this story, it holds your attention to the end. I highly recommend this story as I know you will want to find out how a rock star with comment issues meet up with a girl with insecurities, will they find their HEA?

Can't wait for more
Written by katie Lynn on 5th Jan 2018

Rock My Body by Lee Piper is the second in her Mondez novels but can be read as a standalone. It is the story of Riley, a good girl that is looking for true love, and Dominic, a bad boy guitar player that never takes a woman to his bed more than once. When Dominic offers Riley that most intense night of her life she suggests that they keep it platonic. I found his reaction to this laugh out loud funny. As the story passes you get to see behind the masks that both characters wear and get to see that they both have a lot to work through if they are ever going to be together. I loved this story. All of the characters, main and supporting, just jumped off the page. Their journey of Riley and Dominic was both funny and heartbreaking at times. While this was my first story by this author it definitely won’t be my last. Five stars for a fantastic story about two people that are complete opposites coming together to heal the wounds of the past.

Love to hate relationship
Written by Books4Jenique on 5th Jan 2018

Ok so there's nothing like a good love hate relationship. And I'm not talking about the back and forth between Riley and Dominic. I'm talking about my love and hate toward Dominic. Jerk, that was what I was thinking most of the time, but I also had a few AHH that's so sweet moments. It take a real good writer to get me so emotionally invested in a book, believe me I couldn't put it down. Riley suffers from anxiety and has to deal with the loss of her brother and the blame she and her mom and dad put on her. Working thru her problems she tries very hard not to put herself in situations where her anxiety can be triggered. Running on the beach one day all her hard work with avoiding difficult situations comes to a crashing halt. Literally crashing into the sexiest man on earth Riley starts to struggle to keep her heart and sanity safe from the gorgeous man. Unfortunately it doesn't work and Dominic is all kinds of wrong for her, or is he. He's broken and doesn't get emotionally involved, only one night stands that's his number one rule. Will this all end up with Riley's heart being broken? This book was absolutely incredible. The heat between Riley and Dominic is what any woman only dreams of. I must admit a few time while reading the book I called Dominic a few un lady like words that I needed to wash my mouth out with soup. I must read if you love sexy rock stars who just need to be loved and women who just need to put themselves first.

The Lee Piper series that just gets better and better.
Written by Chook74 on 5th Jan 2018

Well, pluck my feathers and call me done. I am ruined. Ruined for all other authors. I could not wait for the release of Rock My Body, and it was so worth the wait. Riley brought out every protective instinct I pkssess, and Dominic brought out a very tingly feeling of longing. Rock My Body is book two in the Mondez series and centres around the most complex characters in this series to date. Dominic wanted it all with Riley, but would never admit to it. He was the most difficult to get a handle on, and also the most frustraring of the two. Riley wore her heart on her sleeve, much to her embarrassment. They both had their pasts to overcome, and need to fight that fight if they want to be together. These two led me on a merry dance, which sometimes was not so merry, but bloody heartbreaking. I cried hard toward the end. I also laughed a lot all through. I felt so many different emotions, felt like I was on a rollercoaster, which is why this story is an all rounder which will apppeal to a vast variety of readers. There is something for everyone. Lee Piper just knows how to bring out the best in her characters, while baring their souls and showing the audience the good, the bad and the ugly. Rock My Body is a story about battling the demons of the past, and opening your heart, even though the risk of heartache is very real. It is a story of taking chances and finding that diamond in the rough. Lee Piper totally and beautifully wrecked me. I could not read Rock My Body fast enough and pulled an all nighter to read it in one go. I was captivated and stunned by the brilliance that was this story. My heart is full to bursting and I just hope that it isn't too long before Lee Piper releases another stellar read. An explosive and fiery 5 star story.

This story was HOT!!! I loved it!! 5 stars!
Written by katie_83 on 5th Jan 2018

Rock My Body By Lee Piper 5 stars! I love it when you go into a story expecting it to be about one thing and it totally blows away everything you thought it would be about – this is exactly what happened with this story! I absolutely loved it! I couldn’t put it down! It left me guessing about what was going to happen until the very end – and it was a great ending too! The story flowed really well, had a great pace and was excellently written! It was a pleasure to read! I really liked Riley and felt for her. I tried to guess what had happened in her past that caused her anxiety but I did not guess at all what it was. I was completely surprised but could tell it has deeply affected Riley throughout her life. I thought she was a really lovely person who just wanted to be loved. She was great to her friends and brilliant at her job. I loved the connection she had with Dominic – their ‘friendship’ was one full of sexual tension (which literally melted my kindle it was so hot!) but also I could really feel just how deep their connection went. Dominic was probably your ‘typical band member’ but I knew deep down he wasn’t like that and he continued to surprise me throughout the story. I did get frustrated with him at times but I think that made me love him even more. This is the first book that I have read by this author and there is no way that I will be missing out again. I will definitely be going back and reading more from her! I can’t wait to see how this series progresses!

Great series
Written by M. Austin on 5th Jan 2018

Rock My Body was a great 5 star read. Riley is a nurse who is dealing with a lot of past issues and running seems to help her get through some of them. While on a run she runs right into a wall of muscle and ends up on her butt. This scene had me LOL. This is where she meets Dominic, and my oh my he is a very blunt person and says what he wants. Dominic wants Riley and pretty much tells her, however she isn’t looking for a one night hook up, she want’s more. Dominic has a rule, he only sleeps with women once and never looks back. Can he convince Riley to sleep with him? Angel, I can do more things with my mouth than you’ve ever dreamed. Just say the word and it’s yours. These two agree to be friends, but you can feel the attraction and heat coming off of them every time they are together. And when Riley hooks her friend up with Dominic’s brother she gets pulled in even further. She finds out that he is in a band and he looks hot on stage. Dominic has never lied to Riley about women and when she see’s him with one it really gets to her. She thought she was getting to him. How could he do this to her? Can these two get it together and see what’s in front of them? I have to say I loved this book. There was so much going on besides the main story. We get to see Riley and Dominics history which explains why they feel like they do. And Dominic gets a little competition for Riley which really opens his eyes. These two had me on such a roller coaster, can you say major blue balls. I never knew what was going to happen. We do get a HEA but I can’t help but want to see more from these two (fingers crossed). This is my first read from Lee Piper and I loved it. I can’t wait to read more and I plan to go back and read book one of this series. 1-click and get started today. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Reviewed by MAustin from Alpha Book Club

He promises her the best night of her life
Written by Laura F on 5th Jan 2018

Rock My Body (A Mondez Novel Book 2) By: Lee Piper 5 out of 5 stars The story Rock My Body (A Mondez Novel Book 2) by Lee Piper is a new adult/contemporary romance book. This is the story of two people who couldn’t be more different finding themselves falling for each other. She is looking for someone long-term, He only does one-night stands. He promises her the best night of her life. She suggests they just be friends. Their feelings for each other only grows. What does the future hold for these two? Will they be able to just be “friends”? This is the story of Riley Sears and Dominic Mondez. This is a book that had my emotions going up and down like a rollercoaster. Reading about these two had me frustrated at times and also wanting them to work things out so that they could find true love. I kept rooting for these two to find their happy ending. These two both have pasts that haunt them and this affects their actions in the present. Riley is a woman who feels rejected by her parents and those she has dated in the past. Through flashbacks, you are given a picture of why. They also give you a better picture as to how Riley reacts to life in general and also to Dominic. I have a lot of empathy for Riley and how she has attacks of anxiety to deal with. Riley wants to be with Dominic, however, fights being a one-night stand. She enjoys the feelings she has when she is with Dominic and if she gives in she knows she would lose him as he will not be with the same woman twice. As her feelings for Dominic grows more intense, she knows she must make a decision regarding their future. Will she break off all contact with Dominic or will she give in and have the one night with him? Dominic is the ultimate bad boy. He knows that he is handsome, hot and that women love him. He can basically have any woman he wants. He has set his sights on Riley. She frustrates him as she will not give in and accept just one night with him. Dominic’s behavior towards Riley is so contradictory. He is jealous when other men show interest in her, however, he himself shows attention to other women even when Riley is right there with him. Dominic has told Riley that he is a broken man and his friends tell her the same thing. He has a past that affects the way he now lives his life. Is the attraction Dominic has for Riley strong enough for him to change and want to stay with only her or is the pain of the past too great to overcome and lead to these two walking away from each other forever? Read this story to find out if Dominic and Riley find a happy ending. This is the first book I have read by the author and she now has a new fan. I love the way she tells the story and the characters that she has created. This is a book that had me from the beginning and I didn’t want to put down until the final page. This is book two in the series and I can’t wait to read the next one. This story does have adult situations and steamy love scenes. It would be recommended for those 18 years of age or older.

Rock My Body (Mondez #2) by Lee Piper Rated 5 stars! Wowzer! This book is smoking H-O-T! The chemistry between these two characters is off-the-charts! This is My first book on the Mondez band and I am impressed. The writing is strong and flows very smoothly. The characters are witty and engaging. The story is interesting and so amazingly good. I was hooked from the first chapter. In fact i read this book in one day. My life was put on hold so I could see what happened with Riley and Dominic. Rock band players are usually players of women and have a very hard time settling for ONLY one woman. Dominic Mondez is sexy-as-all-get-out and exactly like that. At times I really liked him....other times I was infuriated with him and wanted to slap him upside the head with how he treats Riley. He is a delicious bad boy but a jerk too. . Riley is a great character. She is a strong gal and I love how she always gives herself pep talks. She has issues and even though she tries to talk herself out of wanting Dominic because he is a Bad Boy...her body has other ideas. I loved when she was describing Dominic's hotness she said "No words. Brain Splat". That was priceless and made me chuckle. Secondary characters are rampant in this book. They are all full of zest and I loved getting to know them. Mae, Hotty Hot Hot Levi, Grace and Robin all had great parts and additives to this story. One of my fav lines in the book was when Levi talks to Riley about how he feels about Grace. "It's like I have been asleep my whole life. Now my eyes are open and all I see is her" Love, Love, Love! I loved and really enjoyed this book. This is a new to me author and she along with this book will be added to my favorites list. now I will go see what happens in the first Mondez story! Ps I loved the title of this book! It was a perfect fit! Dominic and Riley.....sigh….until we meet again...

Long and Short Reviews
Written by Bittersweet on 28th Oct 2017

Rock my body (A Mendez novel) by Lee Piper is a must read. It’s as easy as that. I finished the book last night after two days of binge reading and I’m in love. First with Dominic, then with Riley and with everything that has to do with this book. Granted, I’m not a fan of first person point of view, but Lee Piper surprised me. She has mastered the art and I was drawn into the book and into Riley’s character from page one. I immediately connected with her. Her anguish, happiness, love, lust, I could feel all of it in my own bones. The chemistry between the characters is insane and Ms. Piper knows how to draw it out. To say I squirmed a few times is an understatement. But there is more. Though there is obviously a strong sexual connection between the characters, we see so much more. They are characters with flaws, good things and bad, tragic stories, which made my heart ache. This is the kind of book that once finished made me crave for more. I’ll be reading Levi’s story next (although apparently I should have done that first) and can’t wait for the rest of the series to be released.

Great story

Reviewed for SarahAmoBookcorner This was another great book about the band MONDEZ, one of the band members. Dominican is very leary on relationships, he's been burned badly. He just uses the women that throw themselves at him. Riled is having issues of her own, with her own family. This is a great story of how these two meet accidentally and the road their friendship evolves into true love. Riled can admit to her feelings for Dominican but he can't seem to face his feelings for her. I look forward to more books from this fantastic Series! ☆☆5 stars ☆☆

Brilliant story!!

This is the 2nd book in the amazing Mondez series, and as much as I loved the first one, in my opinion anyway, this one is even better! This is Riley and Dominic’s story. This is a hot and steamy read, about letting go of the past in order to move on with life. No spoilers though, you really need to read this one for yourself! This is an awesome series, and is well written and flows seamlessly. I am in awe of this talented author, and she has certainly outdone herself with this story. I highly recommend this authors work for all rock star lovers! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book!

Hot, Steamy and Sensual....excellent read
Written by Ria - Reading Is Our Satisfaction Blog on 4th Jun 2017

ROCK MY BODY is the second book in the Mondez Series and the first that I have read by Lee Piper. Even though it is the second book, it can definitely be read as a standalone. This is the story of Riley Spears, a young womn who is on the search for a permanent relationship in her life, and Dominic Mondez, the eternal playboy, who is only interested in his constant one night stands. Can these two people ever form a lasting relationship? This is definitely a hot, steamy, sensual story. Both need to let go of their past and look toward the future. A wonderful story of a true friendship that gradually turns into something a lot deeper. Excellent story. Can't wait to read next one. Oh, and yes, I have gone back and read the first book ROCK MY WORLD - also wonderful. Read and Reviewed voluntarily for Reading Is Our Satisfaction. FOUR STARS

Simply loved it !!

BANGOR BELLE BOOK BESTIES I do have a bit of a weakness for Rockers and this book definitely didn't disappoint!! Riley Sears is a young woman who has grown up mostly being ignored and treated as a nothing by her parents. She's never felt "good enough" or loveable. After all relationships just haven't worked for her and she's now determined not to fall in love and be intimate with no one unless there is commitment involved. That is until she meets Dominic, the lead guitarist of Mondez. Everything about him calls to her soul and her lady parts!! He's just about the most handsome, hot , sexy man she's ever had in her sights, but.. he's a player, a real commitment fobe, to the point that he will never ever be with the same woman twice!! Even though their attraction and chemistry is off the charts for each other, Riley needs more and Dominic with his one night only rule, leaves them with the hard decision to just be friends. The fact that Levi, Dominics brother, is in love with her best friend Grace, causes her a little concern. I loved this story, Dominic is so complex yet you can tell he's got such a big heart, Riley is at times so insecure you just can't help but want to give her a hug. I really enjoyed how this book was written, the push pull of their relationship kept me on edge, the blossoming of their love, kept me panting for more and the sweet caring moments that they shared we heart melting. It's more than just a love story, friendship at its best, its forgiveness, for others and for yourself, its learning to live with the emotions that can claw you apart, and its learning to let go of the past, knowing that your are worth that future you crave This is definitely a rocker series you can fully invest in, and i can't wait for more !!! I really hope we get a book with these couples on tour because i am sure this band will definitely keep us more than happy with their antics!!!

Hot, hot, hot!

Rock my body answers all the unanswered questions from the previous book, Rock my world, and more. While Riley's story is on the same timeline as Grace, they are polar opposites. Her attraction to Dom is immediate, she worries that she will become another notch on his belt. As we follow their story, we can't help but empathise with both characters. Once again, Lee has written a story that not only heats up the page, it warms the heart. I can't wait to read book three.
