This is the 7th book in this incredible series, and this is Ethan and Sara’s story. Ethan finds his life tilts on its axels, when he finds out that his mom is not only crazy but a serial killer. Sara has had a tough life, and she works hard as a waitress. When Sara witnesses a group of men attacking and intending to kill a man, she is badly beaten by one of Ethan’s men. Ethan takes Sara home with him to protect and keep her safe. This is a well written action-packed story which has undeniable chemistry, danger, suspense, twists, trust, romance, tragedy, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

??? Ethan and Sara ??? Loved this story and love this series! Ethan didn't know how to love, Sara had no one in her life...circumstances bring them together and their story begins. This series and book need to be on your TBR. A quick read but Lila Fox does a wonderful job of telling these stories! Awesome book!

Unfortunately, when he leaves her in the care of his men, they beat her to an inch of her life much to his fury. He takes her to his cousin to recuperate and vows that no harm will ever came to her again. Will she learn to trust him as his overprotective nature leaves her feeling as though she is more of his property than love partner?

I’m really enjoying this series and the fact new family members are being introduced all the time just means it can continue to grow and become even better as each book is released. I really enjoyed this book but while it concentrated more on the family this time I missed the mafia drama that we usually get in each book. We had a hint of it in the beginning and then a slight drama with a female member of staff but if I’m honest I felt a little cheated. I really enjoy the more equal mix we usually get and the family having more of a problem with someone that needs to be dealt with. Also I think this is the first book in a long time that hasn’t had a wedding, however having said all that I don’t mean any of it in a negative way. Yes I missed those parts but I still enjoyed the book. Ethan definitely needs an education in women that’s for sure. Thank goodness he has his family to set him straight. Excited to see who the next book is about.

This is the last part of the Maclean Mafia Men book. Sara and Ethan meet when something goes wrong during a shooting and he finds her hiding in a closet as soon as he sees her Ethan knows he is taking her and that she is his . It's not easy because Sara fights against him and also against the attraction and chemistry between them. Can he combine his work and Sara or is it impossible and could it mean the end of their budding relationship? The storyline and the characters are great and I definitely recommend this book and also to read the other parts before it.

Sara was there when he shot Owen. She just knows she will die. Just hopefully not be taken first. Ethan took one look at Sara and knew that she had to be his. This was a cool book of how they had to figure out themselves and how to communicate.

This was an entertaining romance that takes Ethan, head of his mafia family, and puts him in the path of Sarah, a gal in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is immediately taken with her and brings her home with the intention of keeping her forever. Of course, she doesn't think much of this plan, especially when he puts work ahead of her, at all times....until that opens the door for badness to come for her. Thankfully, he smartens up and they work things out. Expect action, danger and steamy romance to grab you as these two find their way to an HEA. Good fun!

I really do enjoy this series. I mean who doesn't love a good darker romance. This book has all the goodness you love from this author and like me you will be obsessed with getting to the end! This story has such a good backstory and of course you are going to love the main characters and all the secondary characters that make this book even better! I cannot wait for more!

I loved the strength of this female character, she was nobody's victim or pushover. When faced with certain death, she remained brave and steadfast in her choice of how she wanted to die. She didn't cry or beg. Her strength and demeanor touched something inside of the anti-hero in this story and he decided he wanted her in his life.

He has just worked his way into the restaurant with his men, he needed to have a serious chat with the manager as Money had gone missing. He tries to lie and gets shot in the leg and taken away. Then Ethan heard a sound from the storeroom and he finds a woman who pleads just to kill her and get it out of the way. Ethan is surprised at her lack of fight for her life and that puzzles him so they take her to a hotel where he puts two of his enforces to keep guard. Sara had to fight for everything her whole life she didn’t mind working hard she just wanted to keep invisible. When she hears the shots in the restaurant she knows her life is in danger she tries to keep quiet but like her life everything went wrong and she found herself standing in front of a group of angry looking men. She just wanted them to kill her quickly as she didn’t want to be attacked as she was a virgin, she would rather die a virgin than it be taken from her. She was confused when the leader took her to a hotel. One of the men offered to go and get her food which confused her even more. why feed her if they’re going to kill her but when he left that left her with one man who looked like he had something horrible planned and he did he beat her terribly. Thankfully the other man came back and stopped him but what would happen to her now?? And that’s where I’m leaving it because what I’ve just told you is literally the start of the book it takes a turn from there. Ethan had never been in a relationship after he found out his mother was a serial killer it turned him off getting in a relationship. Sara was different and she seem to worm herself into his life. He knew in an instant that he would protect her and keep her safe but did he have the first clue about how to do it?? And Sara, Sara has never had much luck so she’s totally confused when she finds herself in McLean house being looked after by a group of women that seem to really care. But she was struggling with her feelings for Ethan. I’ve Gotta say I really enjoyed this book the changes in Ethan were like night and day but I did enjoy the struggles he had to go through and work out what he had to do to make a relationship work. And Sara is the cutest little lady you never want to meet. Thoroughly enjoyed this book can’t wait for the next book in the series

What a quick, interesting, dark and dirty mafia read. This book grabbed me at the very beginning and wouldn’t let go. This is Ethan and Sarah’s story where Ethan encounters Sarah after finding her in the stockroom. Sarah is spunky and sassy and tells Ethan to go ahead and kill her because she would rather be killed be raped by him and his men. What happens to Sarah when he takes her with him?

Sara has had a rough life so far and it just took an awful turn. She’s in the wrong place at the wrong time! Ethan works hard and hasn’t had a reason to delegate to his brothers until he meets her. She’s terrified of him and one of his psycho men hurts her badly. Ethan will have to gain her trust and show her how much he loves her. Lila’s books are full of fantastic characters, plots, and evocative dialogue. I love seeing the characters overlap from book to book! This couple is strong with great communication and he’s so patient about her fears. Their relationship grows and the sex is hot with lots of love and caring.

Part of the Maclean Mafia Men each reads as a standalone but connect via characters seat so hang on and buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) ?. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!!. Ethan sexy as all get out head of the family but in trying to come to terms with his mother being a serial killer but make no mistake he is ruthless, he is brutal, he will protect those he love, and kill anyone who threatens those he love. Sara makes you want to reach out giving her the biggest hug, telling her that everything will work out because it seems the harder she try the worst things get for her and one night she see something she isn’t supposed to see knowing that it is a matter of time before they come for her but all that life has thrown at her she is willing to let them kill her but fate has other plans. That isn’t the day she is to die when saved she just assume they saved her for a much worser fate. So, when the boss leaves to finish the job and his men beat her merciless leaving a very angry Ethan taking her to his cousins to heal but she is upset about the whole situation, when he moves her she has no control, no say and feels like an obligation when she would have been better off dead but for him she is the only one to wake up his heart allowing it to beat again, allowing him to feel emotions again but will he get her to understand that he saved her, will she understand her life is much better that he saved her, will she understand why he saved her, and can these two very broken people find some type of happiness?

This was a good story. I liked all of the characters. I wish I was Sara ❤️❤️?. My only complaint with this substance-love story is I wish the author would have flushed out Sara’s character a little more. We some of Ethan’s background and none of Sara’s.

Sara ended up in the wrong place and the wrong time and ends up on the hands of the mafia. Even though he has struggled with finding out his mother is a murderer, Ethan isn’t the type to harm an innocent woman so he takes her home with him and decides to keep her. Sara is sweet but struggling with being smothered by Ethan’s overprotectiveness. He is going to have to learn to loosen the reigns. I really expected there to be more issues with Ethan’s assistant.

This was the cousin whose mom was a socialpath and this book starts off with a rough scene but then it takes a huge turn and we fall in love with him but it seems that his love for her came out of nowhere and he went all alpha I missed the action and suspense that came with the other books in this series but I still love this author and this series.

I loved Ethan and Sara's story. I just love the author's writing and the way she tells her stories is just so enjoyable. Also if you like an author that likes to tell a story and really doesn't mess around with much filler--this is the author is one you should "get addicted to" she really is great.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Wow this book had me from the start, the story was written well and the characters were really amazing. This was a short story about Ethan and Sara. Ethan and his men went to a situation Ethan herd a noise when he opened the door a feisty female came out he had two of his men take her back to the hotel. Sara has told Ethan that she doesn't want to be raped to loose her v-card, she went with the men to the hotel for protection. Sara ended up at Ethan's cousins place knowing the females would look after her until he can take her home. It was everyday that they were falling for each other but will there be intimacy between them.

A semi violent HEA with a domineering alpha male

So the book starts out on a very violent note!! The first couple chapters could be potentially triggering because of the subject matter discussed as well as the violence that erupts soon after. After that the violence pretty much disappears and the book is about a very domineering alpha male who is determined to get his way which includes a HEA.

Ethan is running the family business and trying to move past learning his mother was a crazy serial killer. When taking care of a problem he finds Sara hiding. Since she was a witness and heard everything he can’t let her go. Sara has no one and has sunk so low that when faced with death she is ok with dieing, that is what she thinks is going to happen when Ethan finds her. Ethan decides that Sara is his and he is keeping her. He just has to convince her of that, after all she has suffered it just might be more challenging than he thought. I really enjoyed Ethan and his Sara’s book. If you enjoy shorter books I would definitely recommend.

This was spicy, sweet, and dark. Just how I like it. I had to stop and catch my breath a few times. its was great to Ethan's dark and dangerous character be so sweet and kind to Sara. They have a quick gentle love. I loved this read and look forward to more from this author.
