Drake Solomon has wanted Rachel ever since she returned to Crest Hill from the city. He’s intrigued by the spark of innocence in her eyes but also the shocking pain that flashes back at him. However, the dark-skinned beauty will not give him the time of day. But Drake is determined to do whatever it takes to claim her.

Rachel is not looking for love. She’s been burned by love once before, and she’s not looking to repeat the experience. Drake makes her nervous. He makes her yearn for something like her parents had, and she just knows that love never works out.

But to get to Rachel, Drake has to face her overprotective father and his shotgun. Drake is determined to do everything to claim his woman, even if he has to look down the barrel of a gun to claim his prize.

Be Warned: spanking

Excerpt:

Sliding his fingers up her thigh, Drake stared into her eyes waiting for her to tell him to stop. She licked her lips and then swallowed. Her lips parted, and he saw she started to pant. Moving that last little inch up her leg, he cupped her sex with his bare palm. The heat of her soaked his palm. She was so turned on and needy. Did she even know what an orgasm felt like?

“Are you still with me, baby doll?”

“Yes, I’m still here.” The words took her a few seconds to speak, and she kept closing her eyes, arching up against his touch.

“Do you want me to stop?”

“No.”

Chuckling, he pressed his lips to hers. Plunging his tongue into her mouth, he slid a finger through her creamy slit.

“Fuck, you’re so wet.”

“Is that good?”

“More than good. You’re ready for my cock.”

Cream flooded his fingers, and he slid them up to circle her clit. She jumped in his arms at the smallest touch.

“You like me talking dirty?”

“I don’t know.”

“Baby, you’re flooding my fingers. You like me talking dirty.” He pinched her clit, shushed her as she cried out, then stroked the nub. “Did you think about me last night?”

“Yes.”

“Good, I thought about you. I thought about getting you to my house. The moment you’re there I’m never letting you go. There’s so much I want to do to you,” he said.

“Like what?”

“Put it this way, Rachel, I’m going to have you screaming and begging for me not to stop. Everything I do to you will have you craving me just a little bit more.”

“I don’t know what to say or do.” She gripped his shoulder, sinking her nails into the flesh.

Gazing down at her chest, he saw the hard buds of her nipples poking against the fabric. Her milk chocolate skin was so soft to the touch. Drake wanted her to melt against him and to give every part of herself to his pleasure.

Getting back home was going to be a nightmare. He was rock hard, and the zipper was uncomfortable against his flesh. Ignoring his own pain and need, he focused on her.

Good story!

This was a good story about Rachel and Drake. Drake isn't the guy Rachel thought and she begins to realize that.

Sizzling Hot Books
Written by Isis on 13th Dec 2014

His Woman by Sam Crescent is a delightful romance read. I enjoyed it immensely. His Woman isn’t the only book that I have read by this author and I am sure I will read more. I really loved the characters and the plot of the story. His Woman is Drake and Rachel’s story and one that I will not likely forget soon and one I will probably read again in the future. Rachel has come home and she has done so for a good reason. She hasn’t done well in the love department and she isn’t willing to put herself out there again. Being at home is just what she needs. That is until she meets Drake and he spins her off her equilibrium. She doesn’t want to want him but she does and that scares her. She does all she can to avoid him but that isn’t working at all. She finally had to admit to herself that he is irresistible and that she wants something more with him. Will she be able to let her guard down to let him in? Or will she keep them up and miss out on the love he has to offer her? Drake noticed Rachel the moment she returned to their home. He is drawn to her more than he has ever been drawn to any other woman. He isn’t just drawn by her beauty but everything about her. The only problem is she avoids him like he is the black plague. He has got to find a way to show her that he isn’t going to hurt her like she has been in the past. He will do anything to win her heart and make her his woman even if that means going head to head with her father. Will he be able to convince her that they are meant to be together? Or will he find that her defenses are too tough to get through? His Woman was a very enjoyable read. I really loved Drake and Rachel’s story. I felt it was heartfelt and believable. I liked Drake because he was a great guy. He was willing to do anything to win her over and to show her that she had nothing to fear. He was tender when he needed to be as well. He was a very understanding man and I liked that about him. I liked Rachel too and could totally understand why she was so leery of finding love. I think I would have had a similar reaction too but I think I would have been a little more open than she was especially when Drake was such a good guy. I would highly recommend His Woman to anyone who enjoys contemporary romances.

Beautiful hot romance
Written by Deborah on 9th Jul 2014

Rachel is back from the city, back home in Crest Hill where she was born and where she'll stay, she tried living in the city and it didn't work for her, so she's back and Drake Solomon still looks just as good it's such a shame that he's a man-whore. Now Drake's decided Rachel's the woman for him and the sooner she realises it the better, he's done with messing around and he's finished with other women he's staking his claim, well as soon as he gets past her dad of course. I loved this book it had a bit of everything, it's a hot read, as you'd expect from this author but it's so much more, it has more depth than a lot of her books, the characters are really good and the romance is just beautiful, it also has humour, I loved Rachel's father Bishop, absolutely loved him.

A New Favorite
Written by Romantic Bookaholic on 9th Jul 2014

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The main characters, Drake and Rachel, are two people who are perfect for each other. You have Drake, the alpha guy what wants the sweet Rachel as his woman and will stop at nothing to get her. Then you have the virgin Rachel, who is trying to rebuild herself after a bad breakup in the city. Together, they show a sweeter side of a love that is worth fighting for. Also, because this is a book by Sam Crescent, it is very very hot! Enjoy!!

Nice Story

This was a very cute story and a really good story line. The plot.was an old one,guy wants girl and girl wants guy but don't know exactly how to go about it.The hero was someone you could get behind. The heroine was very likable as well. The story was just a little short.I think I could've benefited more if it was just a little longer.First story from this author, will not be my last.Overall just a nice feel good story.

Love me some drake
Written by Goosey goose on 1st Jul 2014

I loved this book! Drake and Rachel were a wonderful couple. This was softer side of Ms. Cresent' writing . There was alot more romance, I could see them falling in love. He was still the alpha male who saw what he wanted and did not stop until he got it. And that was Rachel . I have read Ms, Cresent s books before and like a lot of her stories, but this was a most pleasant surprise . I hope to have some more books in the future like this, of course don't forget about our bad boys we love them too!
