Callum O’Shea has segregated himself from a world that rejected him since childhood. His older brother, Arden, protected him from life…but even he can only take so much of the isolation.

When a young university student offers to help with Callum’s hog problem in exchange for room and board, he’s not in a financial position to refuse. He’s surprised when she doesn’t judge him for his Tourette’s Syndrome. But he’s learned that good things rarely last.

Hailey Watson tried to prove her parents wrong by being the best scientist she could be. When her research funding is cut off, her world spirals out of control. With the help of Callum and Arden, the reclusive Irish cowboys, she learns there is more to life than success at her job. But are the two hardcore cowboys capable of real love?

Be Warned: menage sex (MFM), anal sex.

Excerpt:

The decision appeared to be made, an unspoken confirmation passing between the two men. They were like a team, moving and acting as if they’d rehearsed every touch. The more they dared to advance, the more forceful they became. They reminded her of sharks getting a taste of blood. She welcomed their animalistic behavior. Arden slid her panties down, leaving her completely naked and vulnerable.

Part of her was thrilled that Callum allowed Arden to participate, bringing her fantasy to realization. But did it mean his commitment to her was weak? Was she a sexual object rather than relationship material in his eyes? She pushed her worries aside and savored the feel of their hands worshiping her body. They felt warm and strong, knowing where to touch and not to touch. So far her pussy had been avoided, allowing her time to liquefy, molten heat slipping down her inner thigh.

“Callum…” She ran her hand through his short, dark hair as he trailed kissed down the center of her breast bone. Only last week she’d been a virgin. Now her entire world had opened up, exposing her to the wickedest erotic experiences.

“I thought the townsfolk would have warned you about coming here. We’re to be avoided at all costs, or didn’t you hear?” asked Arden, tugging her head back by a handful of her hair. He stared into her eyes as his brother travelled lower down her body, his lips grazing her sensitive flesh.

“I’m not afraid. I want you both.” Her words felt foreign after she’d spoken. She hoped she hadn’t offended Callum or said the wrong thing aloud. Maybe this was another test and she’d failed by desiring both brothers. She couldn’t help her human nature, or ignore the little voice inside her head that screamed both men were meant to be hers.

“I’ve never shared a woman,” said Callum.

“It’ll be a first for all of us.” Arden descended on her lips, crushing his mouth to hers. He tasted masculine, addicting. She kissed him back, not even concerned with breathing at this point. His stubble scraped her cheeks and his fingers combed through her hair, holding her head in place.

How had this happened? Hailey felt as if she were having an out of body experience—floating, soaring, being carried along on the waves of lust. The O’Shea men may be cowboy outcasts, but she wanted nothing more. She just hoped their ménage would stand the test of time. At this point she wasn’t sure it would last the night.

“Are you still cold?” asked Arden.

“I’m hot.” She felt like an inferno was building in her cunt, growing and spreading out to her extremities. Hailey ran her hands over Arden’s shoulders and chest, savoring the firmness of his muscles. He was larger than life, visibly perfect and beyond tempting. Wicked thoughts flitted in her head. She wanted the cowboy duo to take control of her body, make her theirs. Any inhibitions she may have had fled the moment they both agreed to share.

Callum’s tongue swiped up her folds, startling her. The intensity was all consuming, making her knees weak. She couldn’t believe he’d just licked her pussy. And she wanted more. He secured her hips with his big hands, suckling her clit and exploring with his lively tongue. The sensations were electric. Each time Callum would clear his throat, the brief respite only added to her growing bliss.

Arden grabbed her wrist and brought it to the front of his black jeans. His cock was ramrod hard, making her gasp. He smirked, a devilish tilt of the lips. “You have no idea what you’re in store for, sweetheart.”

Great novelette
Written by Opinionated1 on 12th Oct 2014

This is a sweet novelette about two Irish cowboys, one with Tourette Syndrome and the other possibly an alcoholic. Regardless, a very sweet and bright university gal finds them and teaches them that there is still some real good women in the world. The writing is a bit disjointed and the characters and situations sort of pop out of nowhere without any fleshing out, but it is worth a few dollars and shows the author to a good extent. Two thumbs up.

Awesome!

I really enjoyed this book. Stacey took some topics that aren't really talked about and incorporated them nicely into her book and the way Hailey, Callum and Arden dealt with it seemed so real. I could really get into the book and I will definitely read more by Stacey.

Fallen Angel Reviews

Callum O'Shea has lived his life taunted for his differences. He lives his life quietly, in solitude with the protection of his brother Arden. When Arden needs a break, he takes off leaving Callum alone. Hailey Watson is just looking for a chance to work in her chosen field of science and prove her parents wrong. She ends up on the O'Shea farm to help with their feral hog problem. Will she chose love over her profession or leave the O'Shea brothers forever? A sweet girl who has focused her entire being on becoming a scientist and two brothers who seclude themselves from the world, was there ever a more mismatched couple? I love reading a book about people who seem totally wrong for each other finding their way to love. However, this book was not easy to read, but I am so glad I did. Once again, Ms. Espino has written a romance that I will read over and over. In addition to being a steamy hot romance, this book also deals with a serious subject. Never have I read a book that tackled the issue of Tourette's syndrome. Ms. Espino wrote this hero with depth and understanding. I found myself wanting to hug Callum. My heart broke at every instance where he was bullied and made to feel less of a man. It is a cruel world we live in and it's filled with people who have their head up their ass. Ms. Espino did a fabulous job of showing just how cruel people can be while also showing the caring and understanding side as well. I think we could all use a person like Hailey in our lives. Her character knows the true meaning of unconditional love and understanding. We are all human and have perhaps laughed a time or two at a person who didn't fit our notion of normal. This book clearly illustrates that every single person, no matter what their disability, is a human being and deserving of our understanding and patience. So thank you Ms. Espino for reminding me of that. This book will make you feel sad and happy and it is so worth the time to read it.

You Gotta Read Reviews

Callum and Arden are two very rowdy cowboys. Due to ignorance and intolerance from the town folk, the O’Sheas have had to make their way with their fists and their facade of indifference. But being ostracized for something that they are unable to help and that is no fault of their own is getting very old and making them rather lonely. Hailey is a scientist who has been disowned by her parents for choosing to make her own path in life. She is determined to make it, despite her lack of funds and lack of options, so when she has the opportunity to research the wildlife she’s trying to protect, she jumps on it. Cowboy Outcasts is a short story with two hunky cowboys and a college graduate… While it sounds similar to a number of other stories, it does have a fresh theme with the hero having Tourette’s Syndrome and the psychology and behavior studies grad as our leading lady. The story has a few scenes that feel rushed, and the ending is a little abrupt, but overall the story is entertaining.

Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

Cowboy Outcasts is a wonderful quick read. These three complex characters are written beautifully especially with the length of this book. Hailey Watson is a scientist with a Masters degree, but people will not pay you just for having a fancy degree. She has tried her hardest to get grants to fund her research, but no one will give her them to her. Through the advice of a friend she seeks out to do her research and help a local farmer at the same time. Callum O’Shea has had the responsibility of the family farm for the last year since his brother Arden hit the road and didn’t look back. What he needs is to get rid of the wild boars causing him to loose crops. What he doesn’t need is this pretty woman he can’t hide his Tourette’s from on his ranch in his way, because she sure does stay on his mind. He tries his hardest to fight his attraction to her, but his hand is kinda forced when his brother returns home unexpectedly. Arden O’Shea isn’t going to let some hussy hurt his brother no matter how pretty she is. So he sets out to prove that she is all wrong for his brother, and ends up proving he wants her too. What are two brothers supposed to do when they want the same girl?? Well share her of course… LOL The love these brothers have for each other is sooo great, and when you add in Hailey it becomes not only beautiful but hot as hell!!! The ménage scenes between these three are sooo hot, because you know it is a first for all three. I absolutely enjoyed this book!! It will be going on my reread list!! I hope y’all enjoy this one as much as I have!!

Romance Book Junkies Review
Written by undefined on 1st Aug 2012

I love Stacey Espino's work and Cowboy Outcasts was no different of an experience for me. There was so much one could relate to from daily everyday life in the norm. Very passionate, loving and emotional read with an explosive touch of sex as only she can write it. I found it refreshingly different and would recommend to all that enjoy this genre (erotic-menage-western). A fan of Stacey or not :) Hailey is a rarity. Beside being intelligent, she's beautiful, kind, caring, loving and non judgmental. Her grant has finished and she's trying to find a way to continue her studies. Just when it seemed nothing positive was going to happen, a friend of hers hands her a flyer for a farm looking for exactly what her specialty is. After one failed attempt to speak with the farmer and convince him she could help him. She decides to go and speak with him in person. That's when she meets Callum. Callum lives in his own world by choice. His brother Arden up and left over a year ago. Leaving him to his own devices. Callum was picked on from a very young age due to his Tourette's Syndrome, he's learned to be alone and has enjoyed it. Well that's what he thought anyway, until he met Hailey Watson. A beautiful young scientist that is freely willing to help him with his hog problem for free. This is a great read for ANYONE that loves a hot cowboy. Wait! Make that two hot cowboys. It's written very different from many of the others out there. I loved this most because the men were far from perfect and that made them all of the more desirable.

Night Owl Romance Reviews

Cowboy Outcasts offers readers a very hot but sweet love story along with smokin' hot sex scenes. It is short, but oh so sweet. The story explores the problems and prejudices of living with Tourette’s syndrome. Even with such a heavy topic the author was able to keep the main focus on the romance. Yes us die hard romance fans want that to be a priority and she does this. Erotic romance fans who enjoy a good hot menage story will not be disappointed with this one. It does have a really meaningful story line and I certainly enjoyed it! Callum O'Shea is an outcast. Because of his disability he has been ridiculed and shunned his entire life. The only one he has ever counted on was his older brother Arden. But even Arden has finally abandoned him. He thought that he was satisfied with his lonely life. Then he meets Hailey, a young college student, who offers to help him with the wild hogs that have been plaguing his ranch. Callum is astounded that Hailey doesn't judge him harshly because of his condition. They are attracted to each other, but Callum fights his feelings for Hailey. That is until his brother Arden shows back up at the ranch. But Arden and Hailey are attracted to each other too. Can Hailey accept both brothers? Will a life with her outcast cowboys be worth the scorn from the townsfolk?

Belle's Book Bag
Written by Mariann on 6th Jul 2012

I have read several books by Stacey Espino and I think this may be my favorite. Not only did I love the cover but I really enjoyed the story. The combination of the characters and the story drew me in from the start. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect since one of the heroes has Tourette's Syndrome and I have never read a book that it was featured in. That was one of the things that attracted me to this book--I just love a tortured hero and the effects they have on the characters around them. Callum, Arden and Hailey brought me along on their struggle to find happiness, peace, love and acceptance in each other and I was glad for it. Oh, I just love Callum. I was entertained by their journey that included some HOT STEAMY threesome sex--my favorite!! ;) I was rooting for their HEA. Cowboy Outcasts was a short sexy read that I would definitely read again. I love the dedication in Cowboy Outcasts in which Stacey dedicates the book to her husband and youngest son who both live with Tourette's Syndrome. 4 out of 5 rating.
