Dasher kissed her like he’d been starving. When he pulled back, it was only to whisper against her lips, “Tell me this isn’t a mistake.”
“It’s not,” Ellie whispered.
“Tell me you want me,” Dasher demanded.
“I never stopped,” she admitted.
He kissed her again, slower this time, deeper. One hand tangled in her hair, the other sliding to the small of her back.
The storm outside vanished. The years between them faded.
They stumbled toward the bed in a tangle of mouths and breath and clumsy urgency. Ellie yanked his flannel shirt free, hands tracing the scarred heat of his chest. He undressed her with care, peeling off her layers like she was something precious.
When they finally fell into bed, skin to skin, her breath caught.
“You’re still the only one who’s ever known how to touch me,” she whispered.
Dasher kissed a trail down her throat. “I never forgot.”
Their bodies fit like puzzle pieces, like they’d been made for this moment. Dasher rolled on top of her, plundering her mouth. She gave in, sucking down on his tongue. He left more kisses down her neck, the hollow of her throat. When he reached her nipples, they tightened to pebbles. She cried out when he took one into his mouth and sucked, but she only sunk her fingers into his hair, encouraging him.
Dasher took his time, worshipping the line of her body. When he reached the crevice between her legs, she arched under him, digging her fingers into his back, his name falling from her lips in a gasp.
Dasher and Ellie have a past full of passion and heartbreak. He’s been assigned to help with the Christmas toy drive and seizes the opportunity to get a second chance for love. This is the sixth story in the "Iron Sentinels MC" series and can be enjoyed as a stand alone read. It is a bit of a slow build story with Ellie, a damsel in high distress and on the run, and Dasher, a member of the MC. She has been sold into slavery, escaping she runs into Dasher. He is outside the bar when she pleads for help. This is a sweet story with some steamy bits and man who will not take "no" for an answer. There is a bit of danger, suspense, passion, intrigue and more. The story builds slowly but them ramps up.

Ellie heading up a toy drive for the children of Steel have that need it. The Iron Sentinels MC are helping out this year, she never expected someone from her past would be helping out, Dasher. He left her years ago, broken hearted, and now when she has picked up her pieces he is back. He wants a second chance but she is not sure she should give him one, she has to think of her daughter, Maddy. There is someone determined to be a grinch this year, they are breaking into the storage unit where the toys are held. Iron Sentinels MC and Dasher will need to stop those responsible. There is a lot of angst and some steamy encounters, they finally make a step in the right direction at the same time.
Dasher left Ellie abruptly and she has finally gotten herself in a good space in her life. Then Dasher shows up again. He realizes he really messed up but he wants to try again. I loved seeing them work through the hurt and doubts as they work to decide if he can become part of Ellie and her daughter's life. Another great book in this series!

It was a heartfelt second chance romance, filled with glimpses of their past and their journey to reconnect in the present. There were feelings of regret, hopes for something more, and moments of healing from past hurts. I find myself curious about whose child Maddy is. I'm trying to piece it together, but the details just don’t seem to add up.
Short, but sweet! Dasher and Ellie have history from their younger days. It all came to an end when he chose the club over her. Heartbroken, Ellie went about her own life, but they were thrown together when Dasher was tasked with helping her with a community toy drive. The love is still there, but Ellie doesn't want to risk heartbreak again and Dasher is known for not staying around. They have to learn to love one another as they are now.
Dasher had left the woman he loved previously, but she had never been far from his thoughts. Now he has an opportunity to be around her and help her with her Christmas toy drive. Ellie was worried about being around Dasher again she had been hurt a lot when he had chosen his club over her. This was a really good read. The way these two came back together made for a really good read. I enjoyed everything about this story chemistry that's spicy, action thrown in and the Christmas feel all around. This is a must read!!

Seeing someone on a bike with an Iron Sentinels MC cut on, brought back memories when she was with Dasher. He chose the MC, rather than her. She is a teacher and she is in charge of the toy drive, which she has partnered with the Iron Sentinels MC as they are donating funds, and manpower for set-up and transportation for the toys. When she goes to check on the toys already collected at the Iron Sentinels’ storage unit and found it to be broken into and a lot of things destroyed. She is heartbroken and mine broke too. It brought tears to my eyes as all of her hard work and those that had helped was gone. This wasn’t just vandalism, it was mean and personal and she called Beast, who is the Prez of the MC. He sends backup for her and she finds out it is Dasher, who she hasn’t seen in years and he broke her heart. Dasher is now in charge of helping her with the drive. She gives him a warning and then they begin the long tedious job of going through anything to see if it is salvageable. Ellie has a daughter, who is four, Maddy. She is adorable and stays with Ellie’s mom when Ellie is working or on toy drive work. Now Ellie is worried that the life of the MC could cause even more trouble for her and her family. Then she notices a guy in a rival cut- of the Red Hounds. Good thing Dasher was with her at the time. After a lot of talking and some bickering, Dasher and Ellie begin to be able to work together with less angst between them and there are some revelations. Then some other things happen and the IS MC jumps into action, putting things to rights. I was impressed with how much Dasher was willing to do, plus the IS MC aren’t that bad, yes they have some illegal stuff going on, but they all have a code, unlike other MCs. The book is fun, funny, scary, romantic, sweet, steamy and cute. Maddy is just too smart for her own good and that makes up for a lot of funny little things. I can’t wait to see who falls next.

This is Book 6 of the Iron Sentinels MC series. It can be read as a standalone. The biker who never stopped loving her. The characters drove the storyline and they were so very appealing and likeable and perfectly steamy together. Plot was pretty straightforward. World building continues to excel and impress. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!

Ellie is more clearer but wary and irritated by his behaviour. Perhaps a little Christmas magic will settle around them.

Dasher and Ellie were beyond tight, way back, but he left her for his MC. It's now five years later, and Dasher is tasked with helping Ellie with the Christmas toy drive. She's now a single mother, tough and looking to give to her community. However, working with Dasher is taxing in ways she wasn't prepared for. He still feels the connection between them and wants to make a future with her. However, he's prone to running so be prepared to fret over how this one will turn out. Lol! Definitely cute and sweet with a little spice. Good fun!
So much fun! I have read other novels by this author and enjoyed them. This novel did not disappoint. From the first chapter I was pulled in and it held on tight until the very last page. It was a fun second chance romance. My heart hurt for Ellie when Dasher walked away from her when they were younger. I liked her spirit. I loved Dasher and Ellie together when he released what he had walked away from. Their chemistry was so good! I loved watching Ellie's walls and defenses come down and open her heart up to Dasher again. So good! I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next. So much fun and so good!

This was a feel-good Christmas MC book that gave me the warm and fuzzies. Dasher had walked away from Ellie a few years ago and now with Ellie organizing the town’s toy drive he is back in her life. Will she ever be able to trust him not to walk away again? It took one snowy night for everything to come back…and he crushed it by the next morning. How will he make it up to her now? This was a great upbeat MC story that left me with that Christmas spirit.

This is the 6th book in the series and is lighter with less action than the previous books. It is a heart-warming, second chance, holiday romance with lovable characters. Dasher chose the MC over Ellie, but they get a second chance which Dasher almost wrecks because being a typical man, he starts to think about the risks of MC life to Ellie and her daughter, Maddy. Maddy is a hoot, but the book never explained who her father is and why he isn't in the picture. At the beginning, I kind of hoped that she was Dasher's but then the math didn't add up. After much angst and entirely too much thinking, this couple finally gets their HEA.
I loved this read--it is quick and intense. Author delivers a punch with this story. Hits in the spicy category ALOT and gives you a little intensity along the way.

This is a great addition to the series and a wonderful story. Dasher and Ellie are my new favorite couple and Maddy steals the show. I love to see a big bad biker brought to his knees by a woman. Another great book by Winter.

These two have another chance at love when Ellie takes on putting together the towns toy drive for Christmas with the help of the Sentinels. This couple has a back and forth relationship but Elliecis determined not to let anything get in the way this time. As always this author brings a great read and a fantastic addition to the Iron Sentinels.
I found this book to be a very good book. The story had a good flow and was well written. The main couple had very romantic chemistry between them. I look forward to reading more books from this author.
