Falling in Love, 2

Dale and Molly have a rough history. They dated in high school, and when Molly turned up pregnant, everyone rejected her. What the town of Winters Fall doesn’t know is Dale’s the father of both of her children.

Dale keeps trying to do the right thing, but at every turn, Molly rejects his marriage proposals. The tension between them is at a breaking point, and he won’t take no for an answer any longer.

Molly let Dale go so he could live his life, but that didn’t mean she loved him any less. The love she has for him has stopped her from being with anyone else.

Now Dale won’t let her keep their secret any longer. It’s time to put their past behind them and find a future together. He’s been a jerk, but he’s not going to lose the only woman he’s ever loved. Molly is his, and she always has been.

Can these two unlucky love birds finally find their happily ever after? Can they put six years of pain behind them?

Excerpt:

“You’re what I think about every single night, Mol. Even when you’ve turned me down, and I’ve had no choice but to walk away. I think about your smile, and the way you feel in my arms. The fire that burns between us. It’s special, and I know for a fact not everyone gets to feel this, baby. You’re special to me.”

She closed her eyes and rested her head against him, finding it hard to deny him. Every single night when the kids were in bed and the house began to settle, she’d think about Dale. She always missed him, and yearned to feel his arms around her, or his lips on her neck. She loved it when he had a day-old stubble as his kisses often left swollen red marks, but the scratchiness only seemed to enhance her arousal.

“You never questioned Sasha and Luke.”

“I know they’re mine, Mol. I know I’m the only guy you’ve ever been with, and I know I will only ever be the only guy you’re with.” He pressed a kiss to her cheek.

“I’m not the only girl though.”

“I was a fucking asshole. That doesn’t excuse my behavior. I know it doesn’t, but I hope, more than anything, that you’ll give me a chance. That you’ll forgive me.” He pressed a kiss against her lips, and she didn’t fight him.

Gripping the back of his neck, she moaned as his tongue slid across her lips, and she felt her body melt into his. She wanted his touch more than anything else.

His hands moved from her ass, going to her back and stroking a path back down again.

He deepened the kiss, and she gasped his name.

Suddenly, he pulled away and took her hand, leading her off the dance floor and out of the bar.

“Dale?” she asked.

He pulled out of the bar and rounded the building, pressing her up against the wall. “I love you,” he said.

She’d never told him how she felt. Each time she went to something always got in the way, and right now she was afraid to say the words.

“It’s only ever going to be you.” He cupped her cheek, tilting her head back, and took possession of her lips.

Gripping his shoulders, she held him tightly, not wanting to let him go as he made her ache.

She had to have him. “Touch me, Dale,” she said, breaking from the kiss. Not for the first time she felt reckless, and totally wanted to abandon her need to do the right thing.

His thumb lifted her chin up, and at the same time his hand landed on her thigh. She felt him gather up the fabric of her dress, bunching it up and moving it out of his way, the tips of his fingers trailing across her thigh.

Another Triumph !!!
Written by Francesca - Mrs. Kissmas! on 26th Feb 2018

I loved the first book in this series falling for the enemy featuring Trey & June and have been waiting along time for the next book in this series about their friends Molly & Dale. And it was definitely worth the wait. Molly & Dale wasted a lot of time by misunderstandings, words said in the heat of the moment and just not really realising what they wanted themselves and that shows with their history which I thought was really well written. I also liked that when Dale realised what he had and that Molly really was his woman and he was going to claim her it was a heart warming romance and well deserved with all that they had already gone through. Another triumph for the fabulous Sam Crescent and I cannot wait for the next one featuring Max and Aria. I just hope the wait although it will be worth it won't be as long. But I know how ever long it will be worth it. You do not need to read the first book in this series to appreciate it but I really recommend that you do! Happy Reading!

Now I can't wait for Max's story. It will be very interesting just like the 1st 2 books in this series.

Miss Crescent love this story, love the characters. Even though they suffered but you made sure they had an easy happy ever after, minimal drama which they needed. I can't wait for the next book, I'm hoping you make Max work hard for Aria

Good story

Dale and Molly have a weird relationship in this book. They dated a bit in high school, he got her pregnant and then wouldn't have anything to do with him. He realizes he loves her but she won't give him the time of day so he tries to move on. Two kids and she still won't marry him. When he talks to his high school buddies, he finds out things he didn't even know she was told by the school bully. What was Molly told that kept her away from him and will he ever get her to forgive him and marry him? Sam's stories are always predictable but I love them just the same. Women who have been hurt somehow but still live their life and men who may have been jerks at first but finally get redeemed. Now, on to Max and Aria's story!! LOL

Honeslty, I'm not sure about Molly and Dale. They jumped around each other far too long. And maybe you can say probably it wasn't their time, but I think they should have stoped running around, sit down and decided, if they are toghter or not. What they did wasn't healthy not only for them but for children too. Not to mention they were wasting a precious time. I wasn't exactly impressed with Dale. Those snippets of past gave me impression, that he was immature, lashing out unthinkingly and he was blind to Molly's plate, or he just played dumb. Not sure what. Maybe both. Maybe not. Maybe he was just scared to be hurt and just become a d***. Of course at present he pulled his head of his a$$, as someone put it lol, and that's great for Molly but it kinda was too late for me to like him much. And I have complicated feelings about Molly. On one had she was a strong woman, who was rising two beautiful children on her own, because everyone of her supposed friends and family members abandoned her, when she needed them. She took care of everything alone and at young age. And that was impressive. But on the other hand, all her heartbreak could have been avoided if she had a bit fate in Dale. In 'us'. All she needed is to talk with him, instead of believing in a jealous and spiteful person. PS I got some respect for Max. That man obviously is a SOB of man+whore lol, but damn if he wasn't guru with his advices. Not to mention, how he took care of Molly. And then helped Dale. He's interesting and complicated character. And, yeah, I need his story.
