Chaos Monsters MC, 4

or one year, Betty Jackson lived in fear. Watched. Threatened. Controlled. Until a dangerous biker named Grim came to her rescue.

Grim was sent to find Betty, not fall for her. But when her nightmares keep her awake, one night in his arms turns into another. Soon, the hardened biker is falling hard for the sweet, innocent woman who has never known what it means to be truly wanted.

For the first time in her life, Betty has found somewhere she belongs. The club has become her family, and Grim is showing her what it means to be loved.

But when someone sets fire to her studio, Betty's fragile new world comes crashing down.

Someone wants to destroy everything she's built. And this time, Grim isn't just fighting to protect her.

He's fighting for the woman he intends to keep.

Excerpt:

Martha rolled her eyes. “Well, I know you’re not a virgin.” She let out another sigh. “I would have been shocked if you were. You like Betty?”

“Yes, I do.” He was not going to tell Betty’s aunt that he dreamed of stripping her naked and licking every single inch of her body. Or that he’d imagined her riding his cock, and he got to have her tits smacking in his face. There was no reason to paint that colorful picture for Martha. Betty would probably be mortified if he was as honest as he could be with all the sinful things he wanted to do to her.

“As a friend?”

Grim looked at Martha and this time, he didn’t say a word.

“You’re attracted to Betty?” Martha asked.

He was not going to say it, so he just stared at Martha, hoping she would get the message. He wasn’t sure if she did, but there was suddenly a smile on her lips, and she gave a delightful laugh.

“Now, this makes me so happy.” She handed him his coffee. “This is your one and only warning. You hurt my niece, and I will hunt you down, chop your dick off with a rusty blunt knife, and feed it to you. I will make sure it is impossible for you to ever have it reattached. Do I make myself clear?” she asked.

“Crystal clear.”

There was another smile on Martha’s face, as if butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth.

“Good. She’s in her studio, filming, so don’t scare her.”

He picked up his coffee as Martha patted him on the shoulder, and he believed that was her way of dismissing him.

He took a sip, and of course it was delicious. Everything Betty touched was delicious. Making his way out of the kitchen door, he crossed the small distance toward the garage and looked inside the door to find Betty talking toward the camera. Her hair was pinned up, and he saw she had some makeup on. She was wearing a cute red sweater, and beside her was a lot of candy.

He opened the door, Betty turned toward him, and she stopped talking. In the next second, she clicked a button, and he saw the screen had frozen.

“I’ve paused my filming,” she said.

“What are you up to?” he asked.

“Just sharing ways of using leftover candy. Martha handed out as much as she could, and there was still some left. It was a great turnout, but I got more than we needed.” She let out a little shrug. “Now there are ways of using it up, rather than eating it, which is still a good option.”

“You snuck out,” he said, and took a step toward her.

It was strange to see out of the corner of his eye, his body come into view on the camera. He ignored it and stepped close to her.

“I didn’t mean to sneak out. It wasn’t my intention.”

“What was your intention?” he asked.

She winced. “I’m not exactly sure what it was. I just, I don’t know, it felt different.”

“To when I wake up in your bed, and we go down for coffee?”

“Wouldn’t you be worried about what your club thinks?” she asked.

“I couldn’t give a rat’s ass what the club thinks. That is not my problem.” He took hold of her hand. “How did you make it home?” he asked.

“I got a taxi.”

He shook his head.

“Would you have preferred that I walked?” she asked.

“I would have preferred that you asked me. Woke me up.”

“But then, I wouldn’t have been sneaking.”

She wasn’t going to get it. Grim looked into her eyes, and she seemed so confused. He thought about what Martha said, and he knew Betty was not going to take that next step. She was not going to be able to, so he had to make the choice. He let go of her hands, cupped her face, and then he kissed her.

Grim didn’t leave any room for doubt. He kissed her, moved her so her body was pressed against her kitchen counter, and he finally broke that barrier between them.
