Author Sam Crescent pens a sizzling tale of a woman who is afraid of what she wants and a man determined to change her mind. As the third book in the FRIENDS, MEN & SECRETS series, this can be read as a standalone. However, to get maximum enjoyment, I would recommend starting at the beginning in order to get a solid back story. Because the characters are recurring, it's important to stay in sequence. Ashley is very much a conflicted character. Torn between her heart and her head, she resists Jonathan's efforts. It takes some help from her friends before Ashley can find the courage to take a chance. There are plenty of minor storylines moving forward to set the stage for future installments of the series. Even as readers are caught up in Ashley and Jonathan, there are some interesting things happening with Connie. Packed with sizzling heat, it is obvious there is plenty of chemistry between the characters. Great Story. Loved this was about second chances and forgiveness. Love and Hot sex. Jonathan and Ashley were good. So much for her to overcome. Just shows love is love can't help it. Would recommend this book

This is the third installment of Friends,Men,and Secrets series. When I read what happened to Ashley in Ambers's book a wave of sadness hit me. Jonathan and Ashley try to overcome the past.I’m so happy that another book in this series was written.
WOW!! Let’s just say this book was not what I was expecting when I started it, but it more than delivered. It blew every expectation I had away and just got better and better. From the very beginning it pulled me in and seized my attention and held me captivated till the end. Love does conquer all.

It takes some help from her friends before Ashley can find the courage to take a chance. There are plenty of minor storylines moving forward to set the stage for future installments of the series. Even as readers are caught up in Ashley and Jonathan, there are some interesting things happening with Connie. Packed with sizzling heat, it is obvious there is plenty of chemistry between the characters.
