Hunter let out a growl. “I can’t control it.” His head fell forward then he jerked his head and looked at me.

My blood ran cold in my body. I felt a numbing sensation start at my feet and work its way up my entire body. Hunter’s eyes had gone from that unique dark gray to pure black. I whispered his name.

“Run, Ocen, run from me!” He practically screamed the words.

“Fuck.” I took off. Not trusting my instincts. Part of me said to haul ass while the other said to stay by Hunter’s side. I ran into the field, catching sight of others falling to the ground. No one seemed to notice me as the sun began to ascend. It breached the planet’s normal darkness and sent light spraying over the world.

I skidded to a stop as one guy stood. He ripped his shirt clean off. Those spikes on his head started to elongate. Then he dug his hands into his pants and tore apart them apart. I stood there, looking horrified with wide eyes and my mouth hanging open. The big man then faced the sun and howled. He fell to the ground withering as the sun warmed his skin. He was smiling as someone else jumped atop him.

I don’t know what I was expecting. Violent fits of rage and murderous fucks abound. What I saw was a lot different. The woman that jumped on him was tearing her clothes off and they started fucking right there. I didn’t dare move. More people were getting naked. All around me were grunts and moans. It was like the sun made them extremely horny. I didn’t know what to do. Should I make a run for it? Should I get my ass out of harm’s way? I was only wearing a shirt. I pulled it down further to cover my cheeks. Last thing I needed was some horny freak to want a piece of me. Some men were just flailing on the ground while others were finding someone to mate with. It was like a giant orgy.

A loud roar rang out.

I spun. My breath froze mid gasp. Hunter was on all fours, his now black eyes searching the field and stopping when they fell on me. The spikes on his head had elongated to miniature blades. Hunter let out another thunderous roar like his dragon ancestors. Then the man that had become my sexy, handsome hero, started a terrifying charge right at me.

“Fuck.” The word was part shout, part frantic mumble. I spun around, pushing off the rocky ground and ran toward the ships. Someone shot fire out of their mouth. At least I think it was their mouth. Fuck me! Let it be their mouth. My lungs burned as I ran through throngs of naked people. Breasts were bouncing, bare asses flashing, and I saw hips thrusting. It was all quick glimpses as I kept running. Hunter would be close. I had no time to stop and watch. I jumped over two naked men who were going at it hard. Something grabbed my leg. I fumbled, flinging my hands out to catch my fall. There was a body. Didn’t know who. Didn’t care who. I pushed off them, rolling and tucking out of the way. Back on my feet, I ran right into a wall. The ship! I made it.

Something fell into my back. My long, blond hair blocked my view.

I gasped. Even without seeing, I knew who it was.

Hunter’s warm body pressed against me, pushing me into the wall. His warm harsh pants brushed over the side of my neck. He sniffed my skin and made a soft groaning sound. “Mine.”

It’s been a crazy journey, following the “handsome heroes” of this series on their space adventures and sexy escapades. In this final book, I was happy to see James Cox return to the first world, the one that started it all. The king of that planet - Ranix, the one with the harem of men recruited by placing ads, remember? - now has an heir, Prince Ocen. This is the story of the prince all grown up, looking for some fun of his own, placing an ad in the same way his father did, and finding he has bitten off way more than he can chew. Prince Ocen is bored with life in the palace. The restrictions are for his own safety, but he doesn’t see it that way and chafes at the bit for escape. But what he finds when he goes to meet the people who responded to his ad is not at all what he expected, and after being sold as a slave on one of the mysterious Dark Planets, he quickly finds out how ugly the universe can be. But no matter how much he does not want the adventure he is getting, it is the one he is stuck with. Hunter has a very dark past, but so does everyone on the Dark Planets. But he also has some very unusual ideas about what is right and wrong – unusual for his society that is. He is determined to help Ocen and even defies his father who bought Ocen as a slave. I was fascinated to find out more about Hunter’s background, but the most important thing was that he wants to save Ocen and keep him safe. As it turns out, they are meant to be together… If you like erotic space opera, if you want to read about two men from vastly different backgrounds and species battling it out, and if you’re looking for a story that is as hilarious and entertaining as it is sexy and hot, then you will probably like this novella.

Prince Ocen is only a few weeks old but has been age progressed to age eighteen and then stopped so he will age normally from this point forward. He is the son of the King of the Falla Bray and Ashthor. Which means he is the nephew of King Malvern of the Planet Graydon (even though the series never got back to that officially…but I digress.) Ocen is tricked into sex by one of his servants, and then tricked into going with the servant to escape to what he thinks is a few week adventure in space, after which he will return to Falla Bray and settle down. Little does he know that the servant has sold him into slavery and that he is headed for the forbidden Dark Planets! These planets should come with a warning like some old earth maps that say “here there be dragons.” Once in the Dark Planets space, Ocen is sold to the highest bidder, who then gives him to his youngest son to teach him how to dominate another being. When the father and son try to force Ocen to submit, he refuses, instead running out of the building right into a huge wall of a man. You guessed, it is his handsome hero. In this installment the handsome hero is another dragon, named Hunter. Before you know it they have jumped off a waterfall into a dark land to try to escape. What happens in those dark lands, full of gargoyles with sharp teeth, and what happens when the sun rises and the entire planet turns into one huge orgy? You’ll have to read the book and find out. As I said above, this is the last of the Handsome Hero books. I’m sad to see them end. I’m rating this one a little lower because I felt that there were a few story lines that could have been tied together a little better at the end. Even with maybe an additional Epilogue that said where everyone was now. Based on the fact that Ocen is only a few weeks old, the entire eight book series only took a few weeks.

Once again James Cox, my King of Outrage, has outdone himself! I absolutely adored this book!!! From the cinnamon, or excuse me, cinny mon flavored cum to the sparkling willy to blue skin and sparks from their fingertips Prince Ocen wanted to find his adventure and was betrayed but it may have been the best thing that ever happened to him even though he ended up on one of the Dark Planets. Hunter wanted a better way of life and knew the way he was living was wrong. In most circumstances people can't wait to see what happens when the sun goes down, well in true James Cox fashion, he has reversed that and wait til you see what happens when the sun comes up! My favorite passages: 1) His.Tongue.Touched.Me!I think my heart must have stopped beating for a few seconds. 2)The darkness was everlasting but I had my eternal light beside me---Hunter. 3)Someone shot fire out of their mouth. At least I think it was their mouth. F*** me! Let it be their mouth. Omg if you haven't experienced the brilliance of James Cox...WTH are you waiting for???

Epic ending to a fantastic series

If I used words like "this book is f**king marvellous" or "this book is f**king hilarious" I would, but as I don't, I won't! and I'm still adjusting to the devastating news that this is the last one! My journey started and ended on Falla Bray, where we had a multi-coloured penis and even someone with two penises (or should that be penii?) and ended with a penis that sparkled! (I'm such a sucker for glitter). Yep, we had it all. I was hooked from page 1 of book 1 and never looked back. Now at the end of the journey, my only question is "Is the author certifiable or genius?"!

Cinnamon flavored

What can I possibly say about this that I haven't already said about every other book James has written? Nothing. I have enjoyed every single one and see no reason for that to change in any upcoming book. The characters are amazing, the adventure, the danger the..well ok the sex and everything else drags you in and keeps you there until it is all over. You sit back and think "Wow that was one heck of a ride!" There are a few people in this story who I'd like to drop kick into a volcano but hey that is me . Ocen and Hunter are funny, sexy and perfect for each other...humming and all. So if you are here reading this, you have enjoyed James's story telling before. You think you know what to expect, so come on, buy this book and enjoy the ride! I know I did. ;)

What an awesome finale

I loved this Story from the first page to the last and had to read it in one sitting. As always James Cox brings up two main characters you have to fall for and that get under your skin once you get to know them better and better within the storyline. On the one Hand we have Ocen, sweet and handsome prince of Falla Bray (the planet where this whole series starts with the first book in this series), that wants to have a adventure before becoming king of his planet. A betrayal leads him on an auction to be sold as slave to one of the feared Dark Planets. There he meets his sexy Heroe, Hunter. Will they survive their escape to find a ship off of the Dark Planet? Will Ocen get his chance to seduce the sexy beast and win his heart? James Cox's alphas are one of my favorites. They're as bad ass and dark as can be but have a heart of Gold and tender side, too. Just like Hunter you can't avoid that this sexy guys crawl under your Skin and right to your heart. While reading you just want them to find their HEA. Like all books in this series before it hasn't disappoint me (as if James Cox could disappoint ever!). It's sad though that this great series is over now, but it ends right there where all has begun. And who knows, maybe we get a chance to hear again of this handsome guys. An awesome book and an amazing conclusion for this sexy series!!
