Excerpt:

“Well, I for one…like the wings.” I grinned. “Can you spread them out again?” They were beyond fascinating.

Tor watched me, slowly opening his wings to their full width.

I reached out, touching them ever so gently. The middle was soft like the best cotton in the universe. I dragged my fingers to the edge, stunned as the texture slowly changed. Soft to grating against my skin like coarse sand and finally solid. The outer edges of his wings were hard, not erection hard but bone thick. I touched the tip of a spike, finding it as sharp as a blade. “They’re magnificent.” I followed that ridge, shifting to touch his shoulder when I could. Tor’s skin was warm as I leaned over and placed my lips on his neck. I sucked then smiled when I saw the mark I made on his tanned skin. The sun was sending bright rays through the trees around us. One cut across Tor’s face, making his blond hair look lighter. He bent down slightly and I shifted to my toes. I kissed his eyebrow piercing then took a lick at the stud in his lip.

Tor attempted to kiss me, but I backed down.

I placed my hands on his arms, running them down his muscles until I could hold both his hands. Then I leaned closer and took his pierced nipple into my mouth. The combination of tart metal and salty flesh was erotic. I flicked my tongue over it then tugged with my teeth.

Tor groaned.

I ended the affectionate touch with a kiss then moved to his other nipple. My tongue slid beneath his piercing, pulling on it gently. I swirled and lapped at his flesh until another groan echoed atop the deserted mountain peak. Our fingers were twined as I kissed my way along Tor’s chest, following the curve that led to the center. I could feel his fierce heartbeat as I pressed my cheek against him. Only after I listened for several thumps did I face him. We each locked eyes and moved so that our lips met in a slow kiss. It was sensuous. The way our lips leisurely touched, swiping like a whisper taken by the wind. Then our mouths opened. The sun seemed to dull around us. Our hands still joined as his tongue slid into my mouth. It was slow motion, savoring the moment and I felt that passion to the very core of my soul. Tor touched my teeth, sliding along them as my tongue touched his. He pulled back to stare at me. I smiled as I looked around. His wings had curved around us, blocking out a lot of light. It was like a cocoon just for us.

Tor let go of my hands, pulling at the rest of his buttons while staring at me.

I heard the rustle of his clothing. Then Tor placed his hands on my cheeks and went in for another kiss. This one had more heat, more intensity as our tongues fought a silent battle. There was no loser. I stared down at his stunning body. Tor was all muscle and tan flesh. His feet were hip width apart and his balls dangled between his pillar-like legs. I smiled. How could I not? Look at that beauty! Tor’s shaft was hard, curved out from the nest of blond curls, and rising like the sun on a newly formed planet. The slightly pointed tip was smeared with wetness. Okay, now I was really drooling. I swallowed hard and moved to my knees. His wings blocked out the bright rays as I reached out to touch him. His manhood was stiff as I wrapped my hand around him. I squeezed, feeling the thick veins pulsing then slid my hand to his head. The dragon tattoo was still there, pulsing brightly.

“Alyx,” I wasn’t sure if he said my name on a breath or the whisper was taken by the breeze that rushed past us.

Sticking my tongue out, I slowly leaned toward him and finally licked at his wet head. It was delicious, salty pre-cum. “You taste like perfection.” Okay, so I wasn’t too sure what I meant with that one. It just happened to come out before I could really think on it.

Tor chuckled, reaching down and running his hand through my brown hair. He parted his wings to show me a patch of green grass, some strands bright because of the sun striking around us.

I tugged at what was left of my tattered pants. Showing off my own very hard manhood. Then I lay down in the grass, smiling as I looked up Tor’s body to his handsome face. “You’re my hero.” More than once Tor proved he was not like other men, he was better, above.

 He moved to his knees. His amazing wings formed a wall on either side of us.

That is what Alyx experiences when he is sentenced to time in a prison colony for a crime he didn’t commit. It’s not the first time he is at the wrong end of fate's plans, but he swears it will be the last. Alyx is a good guy. He is also pretty, successful, and loves to be in love. But his real problem is that he is naïve and his choice in boyfriends is atrocious. When the latest ex lies and gets Alyx arrested, sentenced, and imprisoned, Alyx thinks his life is over. Chained to Tor, who is a real criminal, Alyx is afraid for his life and non-existent virtue. He begins an incredible adventure that involves surviving murder, falling in lust with his cellmate, and helping a whole bunch of criminals escape from the prison transport they were on. Tor is tall, strong, and a real badass, He cannot let anyone find out what species he is, or he might be executed on the spot. He is attracted to Alyx, despite the fact he is a rather weak human, and he proceeds to conquer his heart – in a badass way. As they get closer, Tor is afraid Alyx will discover his secrets, but by the time it becomes obvious who and what he is, Alyx no longer cares. If you appreciate a murderous kind of adventure with plenty of dead bodies and a killer who is good at hiding who he is, if space opera with all its implausibilities is your thing, and if you’re looking for a read that is as action-packed and suspenseful as it is hot, then you might like this novella.

A new James Cox book! Yay! I love this series. It’s so unique and seriously sexy. We have Alyx. The good guy, go by the law, ambassador for earth on this foreign planet. He picks the wrong guy to date and this guy frames him for kidnapping! Alyx is sentence to prison. He’s humiliated by the verdict and is taken to a prison space ship where he’s handcuffed to the sexy dragon like man, Torquil. I like to refer to Tor as sex on legs. Gorgeous! Bad boy with a heart that been beaten so badly he thinks he’s a monster. Then there’s a riot on the ship and they’re stuck running while chained together. Then someone in their prison escape group starts killing them off! This wasn’t just sci fi, it had mystery and romance. It was a clash of genre’s that was played out perfectly on paper or my Nook, depending on what you’re reading. I loved Alyx. He was such a sweet guy who just had really bad taste in men. And Torquil is going to stay with me for a while. That ending with the dragon tattoo transfer, Damn! There are funny one liners. Ridiculously hot sex and I was surprised by who the killer was. It was a race to see which bad guy was the worst of the lot. The romance between Alyx and Torquil just topped off a fabulous story. I loved that flying scene. Can’t give too much away but when you get to it, you’ll know. Handsome Men Bite Back is a blend of sci fi, mystery and erotic romance. Do not pass this series up!

This wasn’t just sci fi, it had mystery and romance. It was a clash of genre’s that was played out perfectly on paper or my Nook, depending on what you’re reading. I loved Alyx. He was such a sweet guy who just had really bad taste in men. And Torquil is going to stay with me for a while. That ending with the dragon tattoo transfer, Damn! There are funny one liners. Ridiculously hot sex and I was surprised by who the killer was. It was a race to see which bad guy was the worst of the lot. The romance between Alyx and Torquil just topped off a fabulous story. I loved that flying scene. Can’t give too much away but when you get to it, you’ll know. Handsome Men Bite Back is a blend of sci fi, mystery and erotic romance. Do not pass this series up!

A dragon? As soon as I read the blurb, I knew I’d love this story. Alyx is the Ambassador from Earth, but after he catches his conniving boyfriend Mantel tied to a bed with his butt in the air, getting ridden hard by some stranger, things go to hell fast. Security shows up and Mantel tells them that he is the real Alyx and that Alyx is a kidnapper who has kept him trapped in his home for months. He also tells them where Alyx hides the drugs. Obviously we the readers know they are Mantel’s drugs and that Alyx is innocent but Security doesn’t know that. Following a fast trial, Alyx is sentenced to 7 years confinement for his crimes. He is loaded onto a prison ship, and hand-cuffed to a huge hulking man named Torquil with piercings, dangerous looks and a dragon tattoo. Tor hits all Alyx’s bad-boy buttons and he can’t control his instant hard-on. The ship takes off, but before it gets far it crashes and the prisoners escape. I think this is supposed to be the same prison ship that rescued Bray and Kamden, and then crashed on take off afterwards. Regardless, some of the prisoners survive. What happens when Alyx realizes that Tor not only has a dragon tattoo, but is actually a dragon? Who is killing off the prisoners, one by one? An entertaining installment. This was probably my favorite in the series.

Alyx found the love of his life with Mantel. Or so he thought. The ultimate betrayal leads him to a false accusations which ultimately end in his imprisonment. And if that wasn't bad enough, things go from bad to worse. The upside, because yes if it's a James Cox book you can bet your sweet behind there is an upside, is he is cell mates with sexy Torquil who he gets handcuffed to. When a riot breaks out and the prisoners escape, how do you decide who to trust? Alyx and Tor's chemistry is off the charts but there is a murderer among them and everyone is a suspect. I absolutely adore the King of Outrage, James Cox! His books are my all time favorite. Smoking hot sex scenes and love stories that melt you and make you giggle. Love this man and his books!

Alyx's life is good and best of all? he's in love. Unfortunately for Alyx, he finds out the hard way, that his "love" is a no-good, low life slug and if that's not enough? finds himself arrested and sentence to 7 years imprisonment! He gets handcuffed to a massive ?, well he's not exactly sure, but he knows that he's enormous and a criminal, sexy criminal, but criminal nonetheless and then the riot starts......This is where the author truly comes into his own and why I read his books. The wit is extrodinary, my favourite line being when Alyx shouts at his scum lover "You used me like a condom!"- I just cracked up. The descriptive telling of Tor was inspiring and the sex? Oh boy! had to wear gloves to hold my kindle, it was that hot! and if all that is not enough for you....we have a murderous killer on the loose and it's anyone's guess who it is? Love the way James Cox writes and loved this book!

Awesome! One of my favorites in this series!

I longed for this book...as for all books in this series actually. As always, James Cox never disappoints, and so he doesn't with the 7th book in the Handsome Series. I love all of his characters and their quest for (maybe) a happy ending. So i just had to fall for bad boy Torquil and sweet Alyx. Alyx is a sweet "good-as-an-angel" kind of guy who always seems to fall for the wrong men who left him heart broken and hurt. Even worse that his last Lover was the reason that get him arrested and thrown into jail...where he gets close to Torquil. This sexy dragon is a bad boy right out of the books and Alyx tries to resist...but can he resist this hot and beautiful dragon, that calls himself a Monster but just wants to be loved, too?! Chained together they try to escape with a bunch of other prisoners and to get to a safe place. From far different worlds but drawn to each other, will Alyx and Torquil find their way and fight for a future together? Well, I love this book from the bottom of my heart. With Alyx and Torquil James Cox gives us two new handsome and damn sexy heroes to admire and also shows us a romantic side that love will find its way and gives strength to those who wants to believe in it. All in all i can say Handsome Men Bite Back is one of my favorites in this series! You just have to read it! Thank you, James Cox for this awesome book!!
