Nikki didn’t want to be at the stupid Devil’s Beasts MC clubhouse. Growing up with a mother who had a revolving door of men or clients, she wasn’t into the party mood. However, she was not going to let her best friend down. She was there in case her friend needed a ride. That was the day she met him.

Hawk loved women. He enjoyed many a variety and was not the settling down type. When a young brunette walked into his domain, he knew he should have steered clear. He couldn’t get her out of his head. She was not like any other woman.

Nikki didn’t try to flirt with him, or gain his attention. She treated him like a man, or at times, like a pain in the ass. It was refreshing. An odd kind of friendship was born.

Hawk wanted to be there for her. He wanted to turn her bad luck around.

For Nikki, she was falling for him, although she had promised to never fall for any man. One kiss led into another, and one moment she was a virgin, the next, she wasn’t. A secret affair began. There were rules. She was not allowed to go near the club. No one was to know they were together. It was their little secret.

But then the letters started. Someone was out to hurt Nikki. Was it a joke? Was it serious? Was it a mistake?

Then the truth comes out. She didn’t earn her place, Hawk manipulated everything. He was embarrassed by her. Will Hawk be able to figure out who is threatening his woman before it’s too late? Will he be able to earn back her forgiveness?

Excerpt:

“How are you?” she asked.

Hawk stepped closer. “I’m fine. Talk to me about your day.”

He hadn’t sat down. He was close. Closer than she was used to him being. She had no choice but to tilt her head back to look at him. His heavy masculine scent was so intoxicating, and she felt a wash of arousal sweep over her, which took her completely by surprise.

“I feel like I’ve been talking about my day for a long time.”

He smiled. “The good news is, I like to hear it.”

“Why?” she asked, tilting her head to the side.

“What?”

“Why do you like hearing about my day? I’m always a little surprised to see you, waiting for me, helping me.”

“Can’t a friend help you out?” he asked.

Had he gotten closer? It felt like he had, and they were sharing the same air. What was happening to her? She kept dropping her gaze to his lips. They were mesmerizing.

“Is that what you are?” she asked. “A friend?”

For a long time, she didn’t care about putting a label on it. There was no point. She had no idea what he was doing, but figured he would grow bored and move on. She didn’t want to think of him moving on without her.

This was stupid.

He reached up and placed his hand on the wall above her head. “Tell me if there is anything else I can be?” he asked.

His other hand went to her waist and at his touch, she took a deep breath and felt that edge of panic. This was … different. This was not two friends getting along. This was something more, something uniquely dangerous.

Did she want to change what they had?

The friendship?

Did she want more?

He came in close, and she panicked.

“I’ve never kissed anyone,” she said. Those words just blurted right out of her mouth, and she knew they must have made her sound like an absolute fool.

Hawk didn’t pull back.

“You’ve never been kissed?”

She shook her head. Words were failing her.

“At all?”

“No.” At least that was a word.

He frowned.

“I’ve never had sex.” And there went another little admission she had hoped to keep to herself.

His gaze seemed to darken. She couldn’t figure out what he was thinking. Hawk was a hard man to read, not that it had been easier to read him before this moment. If she could read him, she’d know exactly what was going on in his mind, but she didn’t have a clue.

“Never?”

“No.”

“No man has touched this body? Seen you naked? Fucked you?”

“No,” she said, and she couldn’t help but laugh. She wasn’t even entertained, and now she was a little embarrassed. More than a little embarrassed. She didn’t want to talk about this anymore. She wasn’t quite sure where she got the strength to push him out of her way, but she did so and then spun toward him, feeling a little victorious. She wanted to fist pump the air, but instead she reeled it in. “No, I’ve never had sex with anyone. I get it, my mom is a whore, how can it be possible for me to not have fucked someone? Trust me, there were men that wanted to and didn’t care that I was underage, but hell, no. The guys at school were cruel, and there was no way I was dating. Hell, no.”

She was on a roll and was not going to be steered from her rant. Only, one moment she was standing in her sitting area of the trailer, and Hawk was in the kitchen, a few feet away from her. In the next second, he was right there, his hands cupping her face.

“Shut the fuck up,” he said.

And she didn’t even get to question him, or say, “how dare you.” There was no time for anything.

He cupped her face, tilted her head back, and then his lips were on hers, and she couldn’t think. Hawk was kissing her. His lips were hard, firm, but there was a slight softness to them.

Nikki didn’t have a clue what she was doing, and was pretty much making it up as she went along. The kiss seemed to awaken a part of her.

Hawk sunk one of his hands into her hair, and the other he stroked down toward her hip, cupping her tightly. She couldn’t help but let out a whimper. The pleasure of his touch alone was so intense.

She felt the tip of his tongue as it traced across her lip, and she couldn’t help but gasp. This seemed to be what he wanted, as he plundered her mouth. Another moan escaped her, but the sound was drowned out, completely taken over as he kissed her harder.

All too soon, his cell phone went off, and the kiss came to an end.

Loved this book!!!
Written by Brooke T on 19th Apr 2025

Holy cow, this book was freaking amazing!!! I enjoy all of Sam Crescent’s book, but this one is in my top 5 this year!! This book checked off all my favorite tropes in a dark MC romance. There’s drama, betrayal (no cheating), mystery, secrets, suspense, spice and ohhhhh the grovel!! I thought this books storyline was original, pages-turning and had my heart breaking and mending. I thought the characters were complex and had an intense chemistry. I like how the Nikki was determined, loyal and had a steel spine. Hawk was dark and broody. I can’t wait to see what comes next from Sam Crescent!!!

After reading the blurb for this book I was 50/50 on what to expect! However, I still enjoyed the book! The characters where just what you'd expect from this author and you couldn't help but 'need' them to be together... but man, was it a journey getting there... but again totally worth it! I can't wait for her next book!

Great MC
Written by Danee on 19th Apr 2025

What a wonderful story, we are taken on the journey that Hawk and Niki make. Hawk is the president of the MC Devil's Beast. He changes from a man who prefers to be free and does not date and just does what he feels like, to a man who is obsessed when Nikki enters his club one day with a girlfriend and makes no effort to attract attention or give him and the other members attention, she is not waiting to date him or any of the others and certainly not to become an old lady of someone. That is new for Hawk and he can't help but get to know her better and find out why she is so different.

Written by LFBooks on 19th Apr 2025

Hawk's Woman is an interesting story about Nikki and Hawk. He is the President of the Devil's Beast MC, which is a not so decent club. She is sweet, nice and trying to live her life the best she is able to, which is very different from her mother and the way she was brought up. When Nikki's friend Diana brings her to the MC clubhouse Nikki is not into what they are about. So as Diana is on a mission Nikki ends up exploring the clubhouse and comes up the library and that brings her to Hawk. As they talk Hawk is taken by her but she is not really interested. Hawk ends up getting Nikki's information from Diana. But things don't go well when he tries to meet her again....eventually though things progress and she will become Hawk's woman as he is never going to let her go.

The MC Prez and the innocent woman
Written by EPM on 19th Apr 2025

This is a bit of a longer read than some of the more recent stories by Sam Crescent at approx 242 pages, so that was nice. It was an enjoyable story, we have Hawk, the Prez of the Devil's Beast MC who becomes intrigued by Nikki an innocent woman, tarnished by the reputation of her mother and just trying to get by. Nikki gets dragged into Hawk's orbit by a friend (who may not be quite the friend afterall) and while she tries to resist him, Hawk can be pretty convincing. There is spice, secrets, drama, danger, twists, redemption of relationships new and old. I really liked the story arch with Nikki's Mother, it started off pretty "typical" but ended up quite unique. It introduces some other characters I would love to see get their own stories in the future.

I loved reading Hawk and Nikki’s story in Hawk’s woman by Sam Crescent . Hawk wasn’t looking for anything permanent he liked playing the field until he sees Nikki walk into the club. Nikki has no time for men after growing up the way she did but she’s instantly drawn to Hawk but he has rules and she soon finds out why. Now she’s being threatened and Hawk is racing to save her and earn her forgiveness.

The Prez's Obsession
Written by Luv2Read17 on 19th Apr 2025

The President of the Devil's Beasts MC (Hawk) is quietly sitting in the library of the clubhouse during one of their loud parties. Nikki isn't into the MC life, like her friend Diana. Diana would do anything to be an old lady... Nikki had a rough upbringing and wants to just live her life in peace. But, Nikki is loyal and is always there for Diana- paying her bail money, giving her rides home after she parties to hard, etc. which is why she's at the clubhouse. After their short interaction, Hawk can't stop thinking about Nikki and how much he'd like to spend more time with her. This was a quick read. Expect some steamy scenes, some violence, and there is an age gap between the two main characters.

Hawk’s Woman by Sam Crescent is a steamy, forbidden romance that mixes small-town charm with dark secrets and heart-pounding suspense. When Nikki, a no-nonsense woman who’s always avoided the party scene, finds herself at the Devil’s Beasts MC clubhouse to help a friend, she unexpectedly crosses paths with Hawk—a charismatic, womanizing biker who’s never planned on settling down. Despite her cool demeanor and refusal to flirt, an odd friendship quickly forms between them, evolving into a secret, passionate affair. As their clandestine romance deepens, Nikki finds herself falling hard for a man she never thought she’d love, while Hawk becomes determined to turn her bad luck around. But when threatening letters start to surface, hinting that someone is out to hurt Nikki, the fragile trust between them is shattered. The truth is even more painful: Hawk manipulated events to secure her place by his side, leaving Nikki questioning if she truly earned his love. Eventually, these two come together, but Hawk wants to keep it on the down low. Rightfully, he loses Nikki and has to win her back. But now she also has a stalker and may be in danger. Written by laura.lovesreading on 19th Apr 2025

This was a surprise (or not because I’m a huge fan of this authors work)! This book is it worth to be called a true page turner. It’s full of twists and turns, it’s captivating, dramatic, full of action, steam, drama, betrayal, lies, truths, redemption, chaos, friendship and love. Hawk and Nikki are just right for each other, even they don’t look like it in the first glance. I absolutely enjoyed how this story played out and I couldn’t lay it down til I knew how all comes together. The characters and world of this book would make an amazing series and I would inhale stories about all the other MC members.

Awesome read
Written by Laura Ann on 19th Apr 2025

Nikki Brown accompanies her friend, Diana, to the Devil’s Beasts MC clubhouse because Diana has a fantasy of becoming one of the guy’s ’old lady’ and not having to work anymore. By the end of the first chapter, I was ready to give Diana a slap for how she just left Nikki there alone, all of the time. That is now how you treat your friends. As time goes on in the book, I realized I was right. Nikki’s past was horrifying and it made me cry. The fact that she is so different from her mom and no one in the town can realize that? Is just so wrong. People need to stop being jerks. Nikki hates violence and this MC does that for fun. She tries to hide in another section of the HQ and finds the library and Hawk. After they talk, Nikki leaves but, Hawk is fascinated by her and her honesty. So, he talks to Diana and gets info about Nikki. Things go to heck after that as Nikki is mad and the MC are not made up of nice guys. Not to say Hawk can’t be nice, he just doesn’t brook certain things. Nikki & Hawk’s interactions make me laugh at first, and there is mega heat between them. The book is fascinating and I really enjoyed it. Hawk is both romantic and terrifying in turns. But, I can see his point of view. The ending shocked the living heck out of me. When Nikki finally admits her feelings I sqeeed and laughed. The book was really good and there are parts that are a bit scary. There is death in this book and a few triggers.

She goes to the club with her friend just to act as her DD, she has no interest in partying with bikers so when she sees the opportunity to sneak away, she does. When she stumbles across him in the library, she is startled. He is the president of the club. He was born and raised in it. But he is tired of all of the parties so he makes an appearance and then sneaks away to his library. When she stumbles in, he is intrigued she isn’t anything like the girls that are normally there. He is fascinated by her and her innocence and goes out of his way to find her. He starts pursuing her, but he wants to keep her separate from the club. She doesn’t mind not going to the club as it all intimidates her. But when her friend plant it in her mind, it’s because he’s embarrassed to be seen with her, it changes her mind. This one is probably like a 3.8 for me. There were a lot of aspects that I really enjoyed. Both of the characters were good including their own personal conflicts. Their story was well told but at times it didn’t flow naturally, and some of it was a little clunky. When it was flowing, it was really flowing and the story unfolded seamlessly. Their relationship was hot and spicy, but it was also tender and sweet. The epilogue at the end was everything for them.

This story isn’t the typical gritty MC story that this author usually writes, but I think that makes it even better! Hawk's Woman!
Written by Mary on 19th Apr 2025

This is a stand alone story about Nikki and Hawk. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this story. Nikki has fought hard against her upbringing and living in the shadows of her mother's reputation. She does not date nor does she have room for a man. She was at the Devil’s Beasts MC clubhouse, which was the last place she wanted to be. The only reason she was there was because of her best friend, Diana. She wanders into, what appears to be a library, when she is surprised someone else is there. Hawk, sees the young lady, and suspects she is another "want to be" seeking him or the other men out to gain the status of "Old Lady". She surprised him and the more her learned the more he was intrigued. This is such a good story! Hawk thinks to just get her out of his system but something more sneaks up on him. She falls hard and fast for him but he hurts her in a big way. I enjoyed how this story played out. It has a couple of twists I did not anticipate. The story has passion, intrigue, love, surprises, betrayal, forgiveness, loyalty, murder, danger, suspense and much more.

There has been no one she could turn to or seek help from. That is until she meets Haawk, the president of the Devil's Beasts MC. He begins doing things for her secretly. I love how Haawk cared for her, even though he didn't initially realize he was falling in love. The plot is excellent, featuring some fantastic twists that took me by surprise. Hawk and Nikki
Written by MellaM on 19th Apr 2025

Nikki (FMC) wants no part of MC life. With a mother who had a reputation, all she wants to do is stay out of trouble and away from men. She ends up at an MC party as a designated river for her bestie and runs into MC President Hawk (MMC). She's not impressed and that intrigues him. He seeks her out and they start a secret romance. I appreciated that Hawk was straight up about what he wanted, but that doesn't make him any less of an idiot for not realizing his feelings changed. I have so much respect for Nikki. Life handed her a crappy hand but she kept going. She also had the self-respect to walk when Hawk's poor treatment (and judgment) came to light. Add in a redemption story and a few plot twists that I didn't see coming and you get a gripping story about a heroine who deserves her HEA and the man who finally got his head on right to fight for her. LOVED!

Written by Jes7s7 on 19th Apr 2025

Quick simple read without the gore and darkness of most MC's. Nikki had a rough life and stumbling into Hawk's library while trying to evade a MC party was so unexpected. A lot of background was provided on both Nikki and Hawk which made the story even more enjoyable to read. I loved when Hawk gor his day of reckoning and fell first. It was such a heartwarming feel for Nikki to reconnect with her mon after 4 years. Lastly so glad that while Nikki started off as a pushover she held her ground and didn't rush back to Hawk after finding out the things he had done and despite it all being for her own benefit, holding him accountable made the story that much better. Spiciness a 4 out of 5 and as usual with this author it is a highly recommend.

Hawk's Secret Woman
Written by Jwilliams on 19th Apr 2025

I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a complimentary copy. Nikki was at Devil's Beasts MC clubhouse as a favor to her friend, Diana, she ended up meeting Hawk. Hawk is the president of the MC. Nikki and Hawk build a friendship first, eventually leading to more. Hawk keeps their relationship a secret, but someone knows and is not happy. They are sending notes to Nikki, and things happen that cause a rift in Hawk and Nikki's relationship. Hawk now has to work for Nikki's forgiveness to return to her life. Who is behind the notes? Why did Hawk hide Nikki? Will Nikki forgive Hawk and let him back in?

Older man, younger woman
Written by Reader62 on 19th Apr 2025

Hawk rules his club with an iron fist in a velvet glove and also his life. Being intrigued and enamored with Nikki has an interesting twist. He is self centred in his relationship dealings. She is not without life scarring, but is self assured and easily able to dismiss him when it all goes wrong..much to his surprise and feelings. It was good to see her set against him, giving him a run for his money.

Loved This Book
Written by Doris on 19th Apr 2025

Hawk was the President of the Devil’s Beast MC and never looked to settle down…that is until Nikki walked into to his world. What made her different was that when she took her friend to the clubhouse Nikki showed indifference to the club. She wasn’t looking to hook up or become an old lady which was something Hawk hadn’t dealt with before. This story was a big page turner with everything I love in my MC romances from the secrets, twists and turns and plenty of steam.

I could not put this book down I was hooked! It goes through every emotion you want to scream and cry at how stupid Hawk is being but ended up with a HEA. Great read!

What a wild ride!
Written by Shelly44 on 19th Apr 2025

What a wild ride! I have read other novels by this author and enjoyed them. This novel did not disappoint. I was excited to jump into this novel, and was not let down. This novel pulled me in and held on tight from the first chapter. My heart hurt for Nikki and how hard her childhood was with her disinterested mother. I really enjoyed Nikki and Hawk's story. Their chemistry was so good! I loved how Nikki was not interested in the party girl lifestyle and Hawk didn't know what to expect from her. This novel kept me on the edge of my seat while reading and guessing what was coming next. I loved watching them lower their defenses and fall in love. So good! I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next. So good!

Engaging with twists, action and steam
Written by LBing on 19th Apr 2025

This was such a great story. Engaging. Steamy. Filled with action and twists. Definitely a page turner for me. Hawk is the Prez of the Devil's Beasts MC and Nikki a fairly innocent gal that wasn't interested in men or the MC life. Ha! This was quite the draw for Hawk and he set out to learn more about her. They became friends, at first, but he did set things up to help her out, on the sly. Of course, you know his secret deeds will come out and that brings the drama like crazy. However, with people like Darlene in her corner, and getting rid of not-friends like Diana, Hawk has a chance to make amends. This had intense moments alternated with sweet ones and the twists kept me on my toes. I really enjoyed how this one unfolded, chaos and all, and hope we get more books with the other MC members ;D

Great twist
Written by vickymeowmeow on 19th Apr 2025

Characters are really well developed their motivations made sense and they were actually easy to like. The romance is slow built with each trying to resist falling in love with the other. The sex is very good mostly vanilla but spicy with really good description. This story held my interest to the very last page because in addition to the romance there is an excellent mystery. Really enjoyed this read hard to put down.

Nikki and Hawk are everything I didn't know I needed! I ended up loving Hawk the more the book continued and felt his depth and his character! The path these two have travelled and ended up meeting on was well written. Filled with Bikers, hot MMC, deceit, drama, friendship, hardship, romance, secrecy, and spice! So much goodness!! Redemption and Forgiveness
Written by A.K. Shaw on 19th Apr 2025

Hawk's Woman is another home run hit for Sam Crescent. The characters in the book are wonderfully flawed and believable. The storyline is full of drama, a few twists, an unlikely redemption, hard earned forgiveness, a little action in the form of righteous butt kickings, steamy romance, first loves, and a betrayal you won't see coming. All of these elements make this book a page-turner. I read it in one sitting!

Nikki is struggling in life but makes the most of things when it comes to survival and living a good life. Hawk is smitten by Nikki as she isn’t affected by his demeanor and charm. When Hawk is on a mission he makes sure that Nikki is his for the long haul.

Facing the future
Written by Bookbunny on 19th Apr 2025

Nikki was just trying to better herself. Being her friend Diana’s ride to the Devil’s Beasts club is not her cup of tea. Diana wants to be an old lady and these guys don’t have an interest in that. When she stumbles upon Hawk the Prez of the MCs, she is tongue tied. Hawk didn’t know what to make of Nikki. She stood up for herself and pushed her way through to make it. Something about her kept drawing him in. He wanted her to have everything she deserved. You would think these two are an unlikely pair. Nikki didn’t wilt under Hawk. She pushed back. Hawk coming to see her almost every night was just odd to her. But as they talked and got to know one another things just, happened. Her “friend” Diana was a piece of work, a user. Melanie is almost like a female Enforcer. Never get her mad. I knew once things came to light it would all start to fall apart for these two. I was shocked to read about Nikki’s mom. That one I didn’t see coming. And I had a feeling about Sandy but to that extent, nope. Hawk really learned that he needed to feel and accept. Darlene was no nonsense and thank goodness for her. This one you have to keep on your toes, it isn’t all cut and dry.

Hawk's Woman by Sam Crescent
Written by LyndsayL on 19th Apr 2025

Hawk took me by surprise by his character and I couldn't help really liking a guy who is the Prez of an MC he loves to read and have his own quiet time. Nikki is an amazing, sweet woman who has gone through a lot in her life and has brought her own self up. This was an amazing book and I enjoyed every moment I started reading and couldn't put the book down. Sam has done it again and has delivered another really good read. This is a must read!!!

HAWK AND NIKKI
Written by Gkp2460 on 19th Apr 2025

Hawk's Woman is Hawk and Nikki's story. Hawk is the President of the Devil's Beasts MC and meets Nikki through her friend that comes to the club regularly. Nikki stands out to Hawk because she's so unlike the other women that come to the club. She innocent and very naive in a lot of ways and that attracts Hawk like a moth to a flame. Their story is intense at times and sweet at others. Of course there's drama, chaos, danger as well as lies, secrets and betrayals. There's definitely nothing boring about their journey.

Hawk's Woman
Written by Karen99 on 19th Apr 2025

Hawk and Nikki Hawk the President of the Devil’s Beasts MC loved women and would never commit to one! Nikki was a challenge, in the wrong place at the right time, the right time for his interest to grow. He set the trap, lured her in and then everything went wrong when she found out. Now the one woman he couldn’t let go, didn’t want to know him. He’d never had to work for a woman before, but now he had to learn. An emotional roller coaster of a read which will take you on a hi and low as you read Nikki and Hawks love story with some added action, twists, steam, lots of drama and so much more!
