The Law Castle Bad Boys, 2

After living in the Foster system, Zoe Howard does not trust easily. She moves to Law Castle with the hope of settling down. What she doesn’t expect is to be the woman that three men desire.

Jake, Brent, and Connor have been friends all their lives. They want a woman to share, and they know that woman is Zoe. However, she keeps all three men at arm's length. Her reluctance is frustrating as they know she wants them back.

Zoe is reluctant to give herself to three men. She’s scared to love and to trust again. All three men fight her resolve and show her how it can feel to be loved by all of them. When Zoe ends up in danger, her men realize the love they feel for her.

But could they be too late to tell her how they feel?

Excerpt:

She stared at his erection. He felt her gaze like a caress over his length. “I thought you didn’t want me.”
“Baby, I wish I was able to reduce my need for you. Look at me, Zoe. I’m dying here.”
Her chuckles lightened the mood. He took her hand and kissed her knuckles. “I didn’t push you away. I was trying to do the right thing.”
“Connor has seen me naked,” she said.
“Lucky bastard. He gets all the fun. I think it has something to do with that brooding thing he’s got going for him.”
She lifted the shirt up and over her head. “I think it is only fair you get to see me and make up your own mind.”
Brent stared at the perfection of her body. He’d had many sizes and shapes of women, and none of them held a candle to Zoe. She was all woman. Every part of her was full and soft. His cock pulsed at the sight of her.
His mouth watered for a taste of her.
“What else did Connor do?” he asked.
He would come if she said anything about fucking. Brent had no control left.
“He touched my breasts.”
“Like this?” he asked, reaching out and cupping the mounds. They were heavy and ripe. Brent loved the feel of them in his hands.
“Yes,” she said with a gasp to her voice.
“Do you like me touching you?”
“Yes.” Brent felt her tits and watched her nipples harden. “He licked my nipples as well.”
Pre-cum leaked out of the tip of his cock.
“Is that all he did?” Jake asked, startling them. Zoe spun around, and Brent pressed her against his front.
“Connor has touched her breasts, Jake,” he said, holding her tits in his hands.
“I see you have as well.”
“They’re perfect, Jake. Come and feel.”
Jake walked over and took what Brent offered.
Zoe was shaking between them. Brent leaned down and whispered in her ear. “If you want us to stop, say so.”
“No, I’m fine.”
“What else did Connor get to do?” Jake asked.

Sexy read
Written by grapeapril75 on 17th Nov 2013

It had a good concept but seemed to fall short. The story really dragged along and was a bit annoying it kept going over the same points. Not nearly as entertaining as the first book in the series. It did grab you at the end. There were several steamy scenes to enjoy throughout. I hope there will be more to this series especially because two side characters plot line was hanging at the end of this book. Not terrible but not a favorite either.

When I saw this book I thought I'd give it ago as I enjoy alpha men looking after their "woman". I wasn't disappointed. I fell for Connor straight away. He is brooding and dark and oh so sexy. Oh and the way he is with Zoe is emotional and you can see their connection almost immediately. The other guys, Jake and Brent are also very hot and they all complement each other. To start with Zoe came across as a bit annoying, but I did warm to her and in the end I was rooting for her to be happy. The story is erotic, hot and has a good storyline which makes for an interesting read.

Romancing the Book Review
Written by Romancing the Book on 2nd Mar 2013

I wanted to read this book because I have read other books by Sam Crescent that I really loved, so I decided to give this one a try. The only thing that I didn’t like was that this was part of a series and I missed the first one. As I was reading this book I started wondering what it would be like to have three men at my beck and call. I think that I could get used to it. It would be exciting. Especially if I had one that loved to cook just like Connor. I enjoyed meeting all three men and finding out all about them. This is a different menage. I’ve never read one where all three men are straight and they only want one woman between them. Talk about a dream come true for the woman that they pick. The only thing is, is that they pick Zoe and she just fights it. She didn’t have a great childhood and never let herself depend on anyone. She never stays long enough to put down any roots. I really enjoyed reading about Jake, Connor, and Brent. They all have different things that they do to make extra money and it isn’t anything that you would think about. I loved how the author brought all four of them together. They all have something that helps two of them heal. I won’t give any spoilers. I will just tell you that you should really take the time and read this book. I was glad that I did. I am hoping that there is another one coming out because there is more men that needs a story.

The TBR Pile Review
Written by TBR Pile Review on 23rd Feb 2013

Law Castle is an unusual small town: one in which most "couples" actually consist of three or four people, instead of two. Zoe Howard has spent six months avoiding becoming part of one of those "couples", but childhood friends Jake, Brent and Connor keep pursuing her at the bar at which she works. Zoe, however, has a past spent in the foster system that has taught her not to let anyone close and just keep moving, never putting roots down or making friends. I enjoyed how each of the three men had his own unique personality and style, as well as his own way of relating to Zoe. However, I just could not see the draw that Zoe had for them. Her prickly personality and cold walls just did not seem to have any pull, so I could not see why the three of them were so certain she was right for them. I think if the book had started with them first meeting and starting to chase her, it might have seemed more realistic, instead of jumping in at the point where she was about to give in to their advances. There is also a small suspense/drama side plot as well as a drastic secret revealed from Connor's past, all of which could have stood to be fleshed out more. However, once the four of them start to give in to their attraction, the bedroom action is pretty hot! I could definitely see reading more of the books set in this unusual town.

Coffee Time Romance
Written by Coffee Time Romance on 9th Feb 2013

Law Castle is the kind of place Zoe Howard had hoped to put down roots, although now it looks like it will be just one more stop along the way. She learned the hard way to never let people get too close, because it just hurts too much to see them leave. The day Jake, Brent, and Connor caught a glimpse of Zoe they knew right away she was the woman for them, yet six months later they are still no closer to having her. Even though her body begs to give in to the desire, Zoe knows she is better off keeping her distance from Jake, Brent, and Connor. She has heard the “love ‘em and leave ‘em” stories far too often to want to risk her heart, yet the yearning to be with them has not abated. Jake and Brent want her so bad it hurts, but it is Connor who really needs what only Zoe can give him. When Zoe becomes the focus of a drug dealing creep, the guys must find a way around her defenses or risk losing her for good. There is a wonderful story behind these four characters that I think needs to be played out in full to really get a feel for the dynamic between them. Zoe is a firecracker when pushed, and it shows up in full force - especially when she is dealing with Connor. Jake and Brent, however, take more of a passive role in their relationship, which I would love to see develop in full. They all keep you wanting more, and ready for the next in the series.
