Excerpt:
“Are you scared, Anya?”
She bit her lip as heat stung her cheeks. “A little,” she admitted in a soft voice.
“Don’t be,” he assured her. “Tonight, you will tell me what you want and I will try to fulfil every desire of yours.”
Her eyes widened. “But I don’t…know how to…” She wringed her hands, overwhelmed by the fact that she was finally going to make love. “I’ve not done this before, Raul,” she confessed with a blush.
“I know.” He’d assumed as much since he knew she hadn’t been in any relationship since they had parted. “Tell me what you want me to do.”
Anya pondered the question. There were so many things she wanted to experience. His kisses, his touches… his possession. But she was too embarrassed to voice her salacious desires, so she decided to start with a kiss.
“Will you kiss me?” Anya raised her eyes and was immediately caught in the web of his molten gaze.
“Where do you want me to kiss you?” His question was a growl which sent heat careening through her body.
“On the lips, for a start.”
Grey eyes locked with hers as flames leapt in the glassy depths. Raul leaned in closer, his heat enveloping her, the scent of his skin filling her nostrils, making her dizzy. His head lowered, just as his hands came up to cup her face. Tilting her head, he covered her lips with his.
Her eyes fluttered closed, a sigh escaping her when his lips moved over hers, lazily—teasing her. Teasing her like they had all the time in the world. As if their bodies weren’t a writhing mess of frustrated need.
Anya mewled when he kept teasing her lips, not quite sliding his tongue into her mouth like she desired. She tried to slip her tongue past his lips, but he refused her entry. She whimpered in protest, pushing her tongue hungrily against his lips.
“Kiss me properly, Raul.”

The Island Reunion
This book takes you on an emotional journey that will have you in a roller coaster of emotions. These two were separated in the past be choices beyond their control. When they reunite 13 years later they realize they still have the same feelings and want to be together. However, their past comes back to haunt their future. This second chance romance is a great read.

So excited for this new series--great read
This book will hit you in the feelings-love how they have to navigate the hurt of the past to get their HEA. Great great all around--and its a series starter too.

I liked
I liked the book. It most definitely is a slow burn. The story of real true love never ends. Raul and Anya fell in love as kids, Raul left with his twin. Didn't reconnect with Anya until years later. The love was still there.

Raul and Anya
The first book in the Dias Brothers series is an exceptionally well-written second-chance romance following Raul and Anya. After being torn apart by childhood trauma and circumstances beyond their control, the two are reunited by fate 13 years later. While they quickly realize their feelings remain unchanged, their past returns to haunt their future, taking the reader on a compelling and emotional journey. I highly recommend this story for its memorable characters and satisfying happy ending.

Second chance erotic romance
This is Book 1 of The Dias Brothers series. 'A journey of two people who’ve suffered childhood trauma, torn apart by unfortunate circumstances,' The characters were well written. Plot was well developed. World building was solidly drawn. Very good start to the series. Highly recommend. Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!

Heartbreaking
Raul and Anya Tropes: * Small town * Second chance * Forced separation * Long separation * Childhood sweethearts Safety: * Mentions of abuse and assault. * Coercion Wow! That opening chapter grabs you! Then, as it progresses, it becomes heartbreaking, yet rage-inducing. I found Raul to be self-sacrificing, but also innately selfish. And knowing that Anya had been abandoned by everyone in her llife made it all the more rage-worthy. I originally had sympathy for Raul. He was in an impossible situation, but he started acting like an a-z, acting like the only person who had suffered trauma. But Anya… she had my heart. I hoped, I worried and my heart broke for her so many times. This was a heartbreaking story, taking you from highs to lows. Hoping for one thing, getting another and not knowing whether they will get their HEA.
