“Daemon is way too strong and powerful. There is no out for me. I know that. Only when he’s done with me will I find peace.” Gabrielle smiled. “But I see a brighter future for my daughter. If you give her a chance, I think you could make her a very happy woman.”

Petal hit the window. “What’s keeping you guys?”

Gabrielle chuckled. “You’re not a patient person, are you, Petal?”

“My Sunday plans have been changed so I’m feeling a little … tender.”

Colt climbed out of his car as his mother opened the door. Gabrielle walked over to Kim, and he watched the two embrace.

Petal had her arms folded and glared at him.

“I want to talk to Rosalie,” Colt said.

“And you think I’m going to allow that?” Petal asked.

“It’s fine,” Rosalie said. “I’ll be fine.”

Petal shook her head. “Yeah, maybe when you look in the mirror, you’ll see how fine you look.”

Rosalie chuckled but Petal left them alone.

He stared at Rosalie who once again had her hands thrust into the pockets of her jeans.

“What do you want?” she asked.

“To talk to you.”

“This is not part of our arrangement. Friday nights is what we agreed.”

He held his hands up in surrender. “Is it wrong for me to want to talk to my wife?”

“Colt, you and I don’t have that kind of relationship, so I’m going to say yes.” She pulled her hands out of her jeans. “What is all this?”

“An olive branch.”

Rosalie laughed. “So I tell you truth about who my father is, and all of a sudden you want to be friends?”

“I want us to be allies, Rosalie. Is that so hard to believe?”

“Coming from you, yes.”

“Look, I don’t know what your father is up to, and I can only imagine it’s not very good.” He looked toward the house and then stepped in front of her. “I’m aware of the deal you made him.”

She tilted her head to the side. “I doubt that.”

“You’ll get pregnant and he’ll leave your mother alone. It doesn’t take a genius to work out that you’ll do anything for your mother. Marry a guy you don’t know, and fuck him every Friday in the hope of getting pregnant.”

“So, now that your genius brain has figured that out, what are you hoping to do? Make a deal with me? What?”

Colt took a deep breath. This woman was infuriating. He didn’t quite believe her mother that she was a kind and gentle person. So far, she had made him do nothing but work at every single task when it came to her.

“Your father is up to something,” Colt said. “And I know you care about your mother, so I’m proposing that you trust us.”

“No. I don’t trust any of you. You agreed to this marriage, this treaty pact, or whatever it is.”

“We can protect your mother from him. The whole club. You’re trusting Daemon’s word, and you can’t always be with your mother. The club has a lot of men, Rosalie. We can protect her from him.”

Rosalie stared at him and slowly folded her arms across her chest. “And what do you want in return?”

Colt looked at her. “You’ve got to come and live with me, spend time at the Satan’s Death Riders MC, make this marriage work.”

She shook her head. “Fuck, no. Don’t you see, that is exactly what he wants. He will want me to try and get information out of you and I’m not doing that. I’m not getting between the two clubs.”

“I’ll protect you.”

“No, you won’t.” Rosalie shook her head.

“He killed my sister,” Colt said.

Rosalie stopped and turned toward him. She had been about to enter the house but he had to stop her.

“I want to see him six feet under. I want him to suffer and pay for what he’s done. He didn’t pull the fucking trigger, but he ordered the killing.”

He was right in front of her now and looked her in the eyes. Rosalie had no choice but to tilt her head back to look at him.

“He’d been trying to take me out … but I had to hold her in my arms as she died, Rosalie.”

“I’m so sorry,” Rosalie said.

“And I want to make him pay. I’ve been treating you like shit and I know I shouldn’t have. You had nothing to do with this, and for that I’m sorry. You shouldn’t have to pay for his sins.”

“And just like that, you expect me to believe this?” Rosalie asked.

“I want you to think about it. I’m offering you protection. The club, all of it. For you and your mother and for Petal.”

Rosalie looked at him and then bowed her head.

“He wants me to get pregnant. It’s been three months and he keeps telling me that if I fail, he will hurt my mother.”

He went to take her hand but Rosalie pulled away.

“Trust me.”

“How?” Rosalie asked. “How can I trust you when I don’t even know you?”

This incredible dark MC romance with enemies-to-lovers age gap pairing will break a reader’s heart and then put it back together with a happily-ever-after. Rosalie is willing to sacrifice everything to protect her mother from her abusive father. He is forcing her to marry a member of a rival club and produce an heir. Colt hates Rosalie’s father, as he is responsible for the death of his sister, but he reluctantly agrees to wed Rose for a truce. They both hate each other and Colt certainly lets it be known he will not be soft or kind, but cold and cruel. My heart truly broke for Rosalie and her mother, Gabrielle. They were both nothing more than pawns in a brewing war between two rival clubs. Rose had to numb herself and completely shut down in order to survive being married to Colt. She had to survive. He was awful and I definitely hated him. It took months for him to redeem himself and start taking care of Rose’s every need. I still don’t think he groveled enough and I would have loved to get a few more chapters of the couple happy together, but overall this was an enjoyable book. This author is one of my faves! I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book. Rosalie has spent her life away from the violent world her father has emersed himself in but she is forced to confront everything he stands for when he arranges a marriage for her with the son of his rival MC club. Her dreams of escaping to a better life with her best friend Petal were gone forever in the blink of an eye but if she wants to protect her mother then she must do what her father says. Rosalie is honest with Colt from the start but he has a vision of who and where she is from and seems to take pleasure in humiliating her. Rosalie knew that if she tried to leave, they would be found, but for how long will Cole make her suffer for who her father is and can she really keep living the way she is being forced too? Colt is the son of the President of Satan’s Death Riders, he was a part of the biker world and hated Daemon a rival MC club and a man that was truly evil in every sense of the word and he cannot believe that his father is forcing him to marry his daughter Rosalie, not only that but that they need to produce a child from their union. Colt is used to having his pick of women and being married will not change his way of life and makes that very clear from the start and that there is no way that Rosalie is not part if the MC life. It soon becomes apparent that she is nothing like he thought and his feelings for her are changing but has his treatment of her destroyed any chance of a future? This book was awesome although I do have a few issues with the story, Colt made me feel violent and there were moments that I truly hated him, Rosalie made me want to wrap her in a hug and tell her that it would all be ok. Now although I loved the book it seemed that the time scale was way too long for me and I think that some readers may feel the same. This was a book with a heroine that was so strong that there was no wat that I was going to give up on her. Here is hoping that Petal and Dirty get a book of their own ASAP. 4.3* read, only because of the time scale.

The author Sam Crescent has written a new series, the Satan's Death Riders MC. This is the story of Rosalie and Colt who can't stand or see each other, and don't like each other and also the fact that they both belong to a different MC. Until their fathers decide that they should marry each other. Good storyline and great characters with characters, and you're glued to your book. This was a real page turner and a must read.

Rose and Colt's story. An intense world wind romance. Enemies to lovers extream. With a brutal father having a vindictive plan of his own, including having his daughter getting married to the enemy. The surprise twist of why he evil father is doing what he is doing will keep you reading.

Loved it… Toxic was one wild ride and once I started I couldn’t put this book down. This book had me in tears in some parts and I loved that Rosalie would do anything for her mom. I Loved her ride or die friend Petal and that they had each others back. The chemistry between Rosalie and Colt turned out steamy HOT together and I loved their story!!!

The start to the Satan’s Death Riders series if the rest of the series follow suite, I plan to be on the look out for book two but usually I like this author’s story telling abilities ? the suck you in making you a part of the book. Rosie hasn’t had an easy life in fact it has been downright difficult, yet with everything thrown at her she still does her best to find a way to see the good, she is still kind to others, loves her mother enough to allow herself to be a pawn her father uses to get what /who he wants she is a strong character only because of what she has been through yet still comes out believing in something better but now she has been forced to marry her father’s enemy expecting to go from one form of abuse to another. Colt while sexy as all get out is an absolute a** throughout the book he doesn’t want to give her a chance because of who her father is, willing believes the lies he has built up in his own head, and happy to harp more abuse on top of all that she has been through so when he finds out all she wants is freedom for herself and her mom and willing to help rid the world of her father he is hesitant to believe. Keeping her at arm’s length believing every word our her mouth is lies never trusting her yet she shows him everyday little by little that she is nothing like her father but will he get it in time or will he push her to a point of no return just like her father, will she ever have the freedom, will her mother finally get away from the monster, will she get away from her monster, and is there a common ground where they find something more than hate?

This book was a very enjoyable read, it had me hooked from page one. The story flowed smoothly and was written really good. The main couple had such amazing chemistry. Lots of action and adventure for readers.

Loved this book. You have two opposing MC's. Usually one is wanting to take out the other. But this one takes a twist. When you have help from insiders. It was different, fresh and I loved it. Finally gave the women a backbone.

Rosalie loves her mum and hates her dad, a brutal bully, and an MC president. She gets home and he is there to tell her she is getting married! This is another of his *plans* to get one over on another mc. This is a dark MC romance and well-written. The characters have depth and it is a book I really enjoyed.

This is a great start to a new series titled "Satan's Death Riders MC". It is a touch dark, gritty and an emotional roller coaster ride. It does touch on some difficult subject matter. The story is about Rosalie, Colt and a forced marriage. Rosalie is forced to marry Colt by her father. Colt does not want anything to do with his enemies daughter but he is determined to get her on his side. Rosalie and Colt hate the situation and each other. Love is not in the equation but a baby must come from the union. This is a fast paced read with danger, suspense, betrayal, action and good twists. I really hope we get Petal's story next.

First in a new series and let me tell you it’s bloody brilliant. The story is heartbreaking at times and it has some hard moments in it too but the story is worth everything you go through reading it. Every emotion you feel just shows how good this book is. I couldn’t put it down and was disappointed when I reached the last page on my kindle. Rose has an amazing friend in Petal and I would love it if she gets her own story at some point. I love Colt and Warden, Kim and the rest of the mc. I can’t wait to see what happens next for them.

Rosalie and Colt are both forced into a situation neither wants to be in. But they both have their reasons for agreeing even though they hate each other. For Rosalie, everything she does is to protect her mother. The woman who literally gave up EVERYTHING for her. She knows her father is not a good man and, has always looked after her mother and knew that when her father came around it was never a good thing. Especially this time when he’s forcing her to marry a rival club’s son for peace between them. If she doesn’t, he’ll take it out on her mom. So to ultimately and once again protect her mother she agrees to marry a man she's never met, but knows is or at least once was a rival MC member of her father's. Colt has never seen the appeal of marriage. Being tied down to one woman isn't his style. But to bring an end to bloodshed (on least what everyone is agreeing to) he agrees to marry his enemies daughter. He may have agreed but it doesn't mean he'll make life easy for her. After all she's the daughter to the Evil F***ers MC Prez, she can't be as innocent as she and others claim she is. Things start out rough for these two since neither one trusts the other and they are willing to change their lives for the other. However, things happen quickly and Colt realizes that he and his family played right into their enemies hands with how they all treated Rosalie. Plans have to now changes. But there's one plan Colt never thought he'd hear himself making. Making his wife fall in love with him and ensuring she stays by his side because he's fallen in love with the woman he once thought of as his enemy and he won't let her slip through his fingers. No matter what her father tries to pull. Rosalie was not a doormat and didn't bend to the whims of anyone, she was angry and bitter but she was also fierce and kind to the people that deserved her care and affection. Colt may have been a jerk through a significant chunk of the story and it was annoying, the way he tries to make amends and change the trajectory of their marriage was admirable. He was an alpha male to his core and I loved when he finally turned that possessive and loving alpha vibe on Rosalie.

Toxic is the first book in the Satan's Death Riders MC series and introduces the reader to the MC and some of it's members. This is a fast-paced story about Colt and Rosalie. They are forced into a marriage by their fathers, who each run rival clubs. The story-line has drama, suspense, action, secrets, smexy hot chemistry and lots of passion. I enjoyed this first book and look forward to the next.

I want to start off by saying that there is talk of SA, there is no depiction of it, just talk about it, so if you are someone that is easily triggered, I would not read. Rosalie grew up with just her mom in her life, she of her dad and always hated him. He would turn up time to time and turn her world upside down. So when she got home from work seeing he motorcycle in the driveway she knew nothing good was going to happen. Colt was the son of the president of Satans Death Riders so he was chosen to marry the daughter of the rival MC. He doesn't want to do it but knows his duty and decides to find out who she really is. The more time Rosalie and Colt spend together secrets are revealed and promises made.

This is the first book in the Satan’s Death Riders MC Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Rosalie & Colt; their father’s are enemies and are both forced to marry the other. the title starts it all

The title defiantly defines the beginning for Rosalie and Colts relationship when they are forced to get married for the stake of their fathers clubs. Rosalie however is a strong FMC filled with kindness, love and a fierce strength and desire to protect those she loves. Willing to put up with whatever she must to keep her mother, and her best friend, who is just as protective of Rosalie as she is of her, safe. She is so beautifully written that your heart breaks with all she has to endure. Colt starts off unlikable and an ass but stay with him and your opinion of him just may change and you may be able to forgive him. This was such a good read while a little painful, wonderfully written and flows so well that before you realize it you've finished it. Sam Crescent is quickly become a go to when I need something that can be easily read. Toxic is the first standalone in a series but I really hope Petal (Rosalie's best friend) gets a book because I Loved her just as much as Rosalie.

Toxic by Sam Crescent is Book 1 of Satan's Death Riders MC Series. This is the story of Colt and Rosalie 'Rose'. Rosalie father is Daemon a evil man who is the president of the Evil Fxxkers MC. Rosalie life has been working to protect her mother from him each time he sets his sights their way. Rosalie and her friend Petal worked at Al's Diner which is pretty bad. But they have dreams of one day when her mother is safe to take off. But, then her father threatens her mother if she doesn't marry Colt from the rival Satan's Death Riders MC. Colt doesn't wish to marry and certainty to Rosalie who he assumes she is just like her father. Both end up having to marry each other but neither trust the other nor and they hold on to their presumption of each other for a while. Enjoyed.

Absolutely loved Colt & Rosalie's story. Sam Crescent knocked it out of the park with their story that I was completely hooked from the very first page & couldn't stop reading until I had finished. To protect her mum she's been forced by her abusive dad to marry Colt. Can Colt & Rosalie go from hatred to HEA? I highly recommend giving their story a read.

The life of the heroine definitely has plenty of toxic components. The things she has had to deal with and the responsibilities she takes on herself are toxic and, sadly, relatable. Colt is something else, and you know he's going to crack at any time. When he's with her, you can tell he doesn't believe the lies he tells himself. There are a couple of truly heartbreaking moments (tissue alert), but we all know about karma. It comes back around. They get their HEA and it's fantastic. I've always been a big fan of Sam, and this tale didn't disappoint. It was a bit longer than usual, but I don't mind. I was hooked from the first page.

Toxic Book 1 of Satan's Death Riders MC Sam Crescent The story and characters, Rose and Colt, were wonderfully matched and written. I loved the drama, chemistry and journey. I really enjoyed this story and secondary characters. Fantastic read.

Excellent 1st book to the series

This was Arranged Marriage, Dark Romance, Enemies To Lovers and Close Proximity Trope. This was a 1st for me from this author and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was constantly keeping me on my toes. Had to keep reading because I wanted more. I liked that Rosalie was such a strong character. She had no choice because of who her dad is. Now he is telling her she has to marry their Enemies son. So much for a life of freedom. Colton hates Rosalie's family and isn't happy when he was told he has to marry her. He decided he will make her suffer before he takes her father out. But he wasn't ready to be knocked over by her. There was a lot of angst, drama, twist and turns, action, violence, gore, betrayal, Suspense, emotions, love and passion. If you like Alpha MC with lots of drama then give it a read.

Rosalie is marrying Colt at the behest of her father, doing so only to protect her mother from her father's violence. Colt is not happy, forced into this marriage to create a bond between two rival MCs. He's strong and sexy, but refuses to trust her, looking for a way out without giving them a chance. Rosalie is the real deal... strong and kind, making the best of this bad situation, using her support system. Petal is a great best friend, truly a ride-or-die for Rosalie. And Gabrielle - she's the best mom she could be considering the circumstances of her life. I didn't feel like Colt and Rosalie connected well, until nearer to the end. I still loved the book, and am looking forward to the next book.

Toxic is the perfect name for this book. This story line is dark, intense and full of suspense, mistrust and family drama that you are on the edge of your seat with each turn of the page. Colt is part of the Satan's Death Riders MC, when he is told he is to marry the daughter of a rival gang to find peace between them, it is the last thing he wants. Rosalie has nothing to do with her father, but to save her mom trouble, she will do anything. Wow, an amazing start to the series I can't wait to see the next turn.

I love a good mc book and this didn't disappoint, it certainly lived up to its title!!!! I loved Rosalie ,a great strong female lead and Colt ? Well he grew on me !!! Reading all about the angst, drama,violence and sexy hotness before they got to their hea was great and I loved the epilogue. I shall be looking for more by this author xxxxx

This is the first in a new MC series by the author and it is off to a great start. Rosalie wanted no part of an MC, the one her father was apart of had nothing by vile men. Her father threatens her mother if she does not marry someone from a rival club in order for peace between the clubs. Colt never saw himself getting married especially to the daughter of a rival. He plans on making his new bride's life miserable, there is no way she can be innocent. Will these two have a chance of being anything but enemies with the misconceptions of the other?

This book was action packed with a great plot and main characters you could root for throughout the book. I enjoyed it and am excited for the next release.

Two warring MC clubs, one arranged marriage that’s supposed to solve everything but is just the cover for something toxic until Colt’s club the Satan’s Death Riders see through the evil plans that lurk in the other club. A story of innocence, pain and revenge. A story of fighting for everybody else whilst fighting your own feelings. This was wonderfully written and I loved the majority of the characters (obviously I’m not a fan of the villain) but characters such as Rosalie, Petal and Kim and even Gabby were brilliant and added a much needed hint of softness to a harsh world. Whilst some scenes were particularly cruel and hard to read the happier moments made this a book that I didn’t want to stop reading. I’d love to read about more characters and what life holds for them and will definitely be on the look out for more books from this author.

A+++++ MC romance book

This book was a lot. There's an arranged marriage between enemy clubs, murder, lying and betrayal, virgin heroine and spiteful hero, all the angst in what could be a power couple, plus a fierce best friend that I adored. Rosalie is forced to marry Colt to protect her mother from her MC prez father. Rosalie has never known a time when she wasn't protecting her mother. It's a bit sad but also reinforces Rosalie's inherent goodness. Colt is bitter from the murder of his sister at the hands of the rival MC. The same rival MC whose president's daughter he now has to marry to keep the peace.

This story has it all! Love, hate and chaos! All the good stuff all wrapped up in a heartbreaking story! Rosalie has been doing everything to protect her mother from her evil father but this last thing her father does is almost unbearable. He force’s her to marry the son of a rival MC in order to bring peace between the two clubs. She doesn’t want to do this but if she doesn’t her father will hurt her mother. Colt doesn’t trust this arrangement and does everything he can to break her. But somewhere along the way things change. Can he be her salvation!

Love wins in this gritty MC romance

This was quite the gritty MC romance and it's a true enemies to lovers story. Colt is forced to marry the daughter of an enemy MC to help forge a truce. Rosalie, in a desperate attempt to protect her mother from her estranged and abusive father, agrees to the marriage. What Colt had to come to terms with was the fact that she hated her father more than he did. Their marriage started off sad and tragic with all the hate and lack of trust...until they were able to start to let it go and began trying to have a real marriage. Surprising to them, their chemistry was smoking hot and they did find love together but not before drama and danger had to be dealt with. I read this book in one sitting even though it was difficult to find any compassion for Colt. He really was stubborn in his disbelief of Rosalie's innocence and lack of MC involvement. The gals in here, her friends, mother and his mother, were beyond fab and I really had to find out how things would go for them all, but especially Rosalie. I do recommend this well named book and am looking forward to the next book :D

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I loved this story. I can't wait for book 2. Colt is the son of the president of a local MC. His father has given his hand in marriage to a rival MC and the daughter of the president. Colt already hates Rose because her father killed his sister. Rose has nothing to do with her father or the club. The reason she agreed to the marriage is because her father is threatening to hurt her mother. She will do anything for her mom.

I really enjoyed Toxic by Sam Crescent. This is book 1 in a new series Satan's Death Riders. Colt and Rosalie's book. Great MC action. Gritty. Rich in characters. Hot sexiness. Very much a MC romance. HEA. Waiting for book 2. Kudos!

Rosalie knows the darkness inside of men at the hands of her father, but to protect her mother she agrees to a marriage with Colt the son of her fathers rivals. Colt doesn't want a pact with the EFMC he sees his marriage as a means to an end of Rosalies father. But what happens when they become more than just the arrangement? Could both their goals aline? Or will the risk be to much? Well written, great story development engaging characters, with action drama, dark themes, heart breaking moments and more!

It was actually a very good read.

Wow this was actually a very good read and it had so many emotions that I couldn’t even read it without my box of tissues at my side. Colt and Rosalie story had so many ups and downs of so much sadness,tragedies that in some parts was a bit hard to get to read but I pull through and even with all that it was a very good read and love that this two found their happiness through to much pain and sadness.

Rosalie only wanted to protect her mother, Gabby and have nothing to do with her father, Daemon. She didn’t associate with the Evil $%ckers MC. Her father bring the president meant nothing to her. But Daemon was going to force her into a marriage with a Satan’s Death Riders MC. Colt couldn’t believe his father, his president, Warden was asking him to marry the daughter of a rival MC. There was no way he was going to do that. But when you prez tells you to do it, you do. He wasn’t going to care about her or even like her. I do love that Rose is a tough cookie. She may not be strong enough to deal with her father but she sure stood up to him to protect her mother. Colt is the complete opposite. He seems as cold as her father and I didn’t care for that. I honestly thing he was the mirror image of her father and that worried me. I love Kim, Colt’s mother. That woman needs to give Gabby lessons on standing up for herself. And OMG, just reading about Rose’s life and her always taking on the responsibility to taking care of her mother had me in tears. Her friend Petal is the best. I love that girl. She made me cry during the wedding. There are lots of parts that will make you cry in this book. I hope we get a story for Petal.

The first book in a new series by Sam Crescent was stellar. Rosalie and Colt have an arranged marriage and you can tell this is an enemies to lovers story. They don't like each other but they have no choice to go through with the marriage. There is a lot of action, betrayal and of course steamy scenes. I'm eager to read the next book!!!

Ok so this one was unexpected--I mean I knew that it would be great (author has never written something I haven't loved) but this was so super intense and a roller coaster of emotions throughout this book. Rosalie is caught between two waring MC’s. She just wants to protect her mother. Her father has plans for her. Colt does not want to marry even to help his club but that is what he does. Can hate turn into love when there is no trust and so much hate? This was a great plot and story I loved reading Rosalie and Colts story. Colt is older then Rose. MC romance, IMO it was not dark. Rose was so strong to have to deal with all that was forced onto her. Colt was caring after he got it together. Liked that the BF was her ride and die! The story kept me engaged and wanting to finish to know what would happen.

A great start to the series! Rosalie and Colt are forced to marry despite hating each other. Rosalie is loyal to her mother and not the MC or her father. Colt is the typical MC bachelor that does not want to be tied down, but he is loyal to the club and like most MC books the club comes first. He hates marrying the rival's daughter and tries to make her life miserable. If you like enemies to lovers, this is a good one. He falls first and works for it! Very well written, darkish, spicy, and possessive, MC romance.

Toxic by Sam Crescent is the first in a new MC series. This one is about an Arranged marriage between the daughter of one club president and the son of the other club’s president, essentially seeking a treaty between two warring clubs. Colt hates his new Bride because her father killed his sister. He can’t seem to let go of the fact that his blood runs through her veins and while she personally had nothing to do with it, she is her fathers daughter. Rose, however hates her father. The only reason she’s agreed to this marriage is because her father threatened to hurt her mother if she didn’t. She knows Colt and his club hate her but to save her mother, she has no choice. There is so much hate, spice, angst, tension, love, jealousy and action in this book. I could not put it down. I loved it, absolutely loved it. I cried, no…sobbed in parts and I laughed in others, I was so immersed in this new MC world that I had no idea it was almost 4am and I finished reading it. Sam has knocked it out of the park with this one. Cannot wait for Petal’s story!!

How could so many wrong things every turn out right? Leave it to this author to not spare the gritty details and sweep you away into totally dysfunctional relationships! You'll get caught up in the emotional upheaval in the story, and find yourself really hoping that everything turns out OK in the end.

A roller coaster ride of the MC kind...

I was hooked on this book and couldn't put it down until it was finished, which did mean that other things got left to the sideline. Sam as always, delivers excellent books that grip the reader and this book is nothing less than excellent. A typical MC story, with a pawn used between two MC's and some of the things that Rosalie has to go through, are not for the light-hearted, and I did have a few tears and lumps in my throat. Was really happy with the ending...definitely one to read again and again...

It's a great age gap, arranged marriage story about Colt and Rosalie. Their journey is tumultuous at best. Coming from rival MC's these two are thrown into a marriage neither of them wants, all for the promise of peace between the clubs. This story is full of chaos, action, twists, turns, betrayal and danger. It's a definite page turner!

Another amazing start to what I'm hoping will be a good, kinda dark, and nitty MC series by Sam Crescent. Rosalie and Colt are both forced into a situation neither wants to be in. But they both have their reasons for agreeing even though they hate each other. For Rosalie, everything she does is to protect her mother. The woman who literally gave up EVERYTHING for her. She knows her father is not a good man and since she's been able to she always tries to lessen the attention her father may show her mother any time he is around. So to ultimately and once again protect her mother she agrees to marry a man she's never met, but knows is or at least once was a rival MC member of her father's. Colt has never seen the appeal of marriage. Being tied down to one woman isn't his style. But to bring an end to bloodshed (on least what everyone is agreeing to) he agrees to marry his enemies daughter. He may have agreed but it doesn't mean he'll make life easy for her. After all she's the daughter to the Evil F***ers MC Prez, she can't be as innocent as she and others claim she is. Things may start out rough for these two. After all neither one trusts the other and they are willing to change their lives for the other. However, things happen quickly and Colt realizes that he and his family played right into their enemies hands with how they all treated Rosalie. Plans have to now changes... But there's one plan Colt never thought he'd hear himself making. Making his wife fall in love with him and ensuring she stays by his side because he's fallen in love with the woman he once thought of as his enemy and he won't let her slip through his fingers. No matter what her father tries to pull.

Colt and Rosalie were pawns in rival MC clubs. Colt could not allow himself to care for the daughter of the enemy, Rosalie. Their relationship/marriage started out poisonous with misconceptions on both sides. Over time, they bonded over the truth of what they both felt about the real enemy. This book was pain filled, suspense filled, violent drama and definitely fit the title of toxic. However, it was an emotion filled ride that turned toxicity into an elixir of love, fidelity and happiness.

Loved it! Loved it so much I stayed up til 3 AM reading it….. h is a 21 year old daughter of a Mc president and v card holder who is strong armed into marrying the enemy of her fathers club. H doesn’t want to marry h but will do as his father asks( enemy clubs president). H is down right mean in the beginning because he doesn’t want to have feelings for h. h has never been apart of the biker life and only cares about protecting her mother from her fathers wrath. It is a HEA but it diff has its ups and downs. No OWD, H is an OTT JP ALPHA. h is very loving and your heart goes out to her. Trigger warning*** this books does have some physical abuse and a fair amount of SA talk and reference. h is a product of SA

Rose and Colt are different as night and day. Can an arranged marriage work? Tragedy break them apart. I adored Rose and Petal friendship. So amazing This book is golden a must read
