“Here’s a picture of my daughter. They’re going to hurt her. Please take the money and rescue her. I promise I’ll get more.”
The picture the man placed on top of the envelope grabbed Cross’s attention, and he felt compelled to pick it up. The young woman was gorgeous. Messy honey-colored hair piled on top of her head with whisps framing her heart-shaped face. Guileless grey eyes seemed to stare into his soul. Lush full lips. Unblemished skin. An ethereal woman like her only existed in fairy tales.
“She looks nothing like you,” Cross muttered.
“She looks like her mother. Does that mean you’ll accept the ten thousand?”
It was clearly obvious that Mouse Man had mistaken him for someone else. Cross placed the picture back onto the envelope. The money was a moot point. He could take the money and lie. Leave town like he planned, ten grand richer. Yet, his gaze kept landing on the woman’s delicate face.
“She looks young.”
“She’s twenty.”
Figures, he thought sourly. Too young for his fucking ass. Yet…
“Who has her?”
He hadn’t meant to ask the question, but it rolled out of him without conscious thought. Mouse Man visibly relaxed, thinking Cross accepted the mission.
“Noble Vale Sanatorium.”
Cross frowned. “She’s crazy?”
“No.” Mouse Man looked around then leaned in close. “She’s special.”
“Special as in crazy?”
“Special as in … g-gifted.”
Everything inside Cross froze. Vivi Wence flashed through his head, and how blissful it was having all the rage in his head cease even for a moment. He had tried to take her back, but messed it all up. After that, his life imploded. First, he’d lost his Heart of Darkness MC President patch. Second, he had almost fallen in the gauntlet he’d been forced to walk when the club kicked him to the curb. Had almost lost his life, and the demons in his head taunted that he’d be better off dead. The thought of suicide haunted him.
So, once he had recuperated, he ran. Trying hard to outrun his thoughts, he hopped on his bike and headed to parts unknown. Moving on when he felt it was time. And here he was, in another dive bar, drinking his way to an early grave. Maybe this woman was the salvation he desperately hoped for. Cross didn’t believe for one damn minute she was this man’s daughter, but now he was curious.
“Gifted?”
“A doctor by the name of Costello Birsha has her. He runs the sanatorium and he’s going to pick her apart trying to unlock her gift, but she’s too fragile to handle that. It’s going to destroy her. Please … please help her.”
“What type of gift?” Mouse Man shook his head, but Cross grabbed his shirt and yanked him close. “What. Type. Of. Gift?”
Mouse Man shrank back as far as he could go. “Lorelei can h-heal people.”
He had a name. Lorelei.
Wasn’t Lorelei a siren who lured men to their deaths? Damn, if he wasn’t going to follow those poor assholes.
Emotional Read I felt every emotional and heartbreaking moment of this engaging storyline which will take you on lots of highs and lows. What a journey these two have both scarred in their own way but willing to give each other a chance as you get deeper and deeper into their love story with lots of drama, romance and a HEA which will make you smile.
I was really stoked to see this book linked in with my favourite series by this author: Death Riders MC. You don't need to read that series to follow this one but it's awesome and I definitely recommend checking it out. In this story, Aera and Lorelai will crush your heart with their pasts. When Aera gets approached to save a man's daughter, he looks at the pic of her and knows she's important to him. Lorelai has been imprisoned for five years using her special gift to her detriment, as well as being tortured and abused. Thankfully, she manages to escape but runs right into Aera. He's desperate for her gift and truly does plan to keep her for himself, however, feelings bloom hard and fast between them. This is an intense and gripping series opener with drama, danger, action, vengeance and hot spice. It was a page turner for me and it's now got a prime spot on my re-read shelf. I can't wait for the next book to come out :D
A wonderful read, I enjoyed the story. She was kidnapped and held against her will and when she escapes five years later she meets Aera and he take her to Vegas he was already on the way to rescue her. A wonderful new series,
I haven't read too much from this author but I LOVED this book. It's the first book in a new series and was quite a wild ride. The premise was different. Lorelai has endured years of pain at the hands of people she trusted. When she finally escapes she ecounters Aera and their journey begins. She begins to heal some of his tortured childhood and he shows her she's stronger than she knows. This is an emotional rollercoaster with engaging characters. Definitely a Must Read!

Sometimes fate has to step in putting people in the right place at the right time to save them or bring them together. Aera sexy as all get part of the Death Riders is approached by a father to save his daughter, but the thing is his background is the best, he doesn’t know that kind of love but the moment he sees her picture he knows he is willing to try and save her because something about her is important. Lorelai is sweet born with a gift the ability to heal others kidnapped held for years, where her gift was used against her and when she finally gets the chance to escape, she runs into a Death Rider but somehow, she knew she had to trust him. Their connection was instant but trusting each other came hard for the two of them but the more they got to know each other the closer they grew slowly she healed him and he showed her just how beautiful she really is, but do they take care of those who hurt her, will she really be okay, what about her gift will she continue to heal others, and is it their time for happiness and peace?
This is the story of Lorelei and Cross, their story will keep you glued to your book because there is drama, action, danger, suspense, character and spice and hot moments between them. They have both been through things and have also experienced their own pain, darkness and sorrow. Will they be able to help each other and also heal and get a hea together? I enjoyed their story and is definitely recommended.

Unholy Cross is a great start to a new series. Aero and Lorelei characters is emotional, spicy,intense. I was hooked from the start. A great roller-coaster ride.
This happens to be book one of the Deadly & Ruthless this is a erotic Mc Biker Romance with an Alpha male that is on the dark side. This is the story of Cross & Lorelei he is not only physically scared but emotionally, but he is approached by her father to save her from a deranged doctor. Lorelei becomes the light to his darkness and calms him, but can they save each other?
Cross and Lorelei. He was mistakenly approced in a bar by a mousey little man. Given money and a picture of girl to rescue. He knew he wasnt who the mouse looked for but he knew he would rescue the girl looking back at him in the picture. Lore was a healer. She was taken from her parents. She was sold to Noble Vale. Forced to heal at great pain. She didnt speak. She escaped and Cross saw her and they left. Sought refuge in a hotel. They were found. Then sought refuge at a friends place. They were betrayed. They left. His old home. He had money hidden. Grabbed and gone. Staying at another motel. She got her first kiss. They planned where to go next. His past came to light. For now there was Vegas his home town. They found her. Cross had to reach out to someone he swore never to contact again. WOW he has friends in high places. But favors come with a price. She wakes, wheres Cross, Where is she...what happened while she was out. He was sent to collect money or collateral. Collateral it is. Maybe a story there. Cant wait. OK back to Cross and Lorelei. She showed her power. His brothers have adopted her. They all will protect her. Cross excepts a job from Jeramiah. He would Roadhouse it. In their new house. She was now truely his. In the store she felt someone watching her. Saxon his brother brought her a gift that made the demons go away. The delivery guy handed her an envelopw he was told to give her. She wanted to go to the bar where he was. He was angry. Why? He didnt want her? Where would she go? Someone took her. She screamed. She exercised her demons. She was given a choice and she choose. All the events that lead up to the bits and peices of information I have given you are full of action, danger, trust, lies and secrets. He'd burn the world down for her. A great story you cant put down.
This was a good read. She’s a damsel who saves herself from her prison, but she still needs help. If you like dark romance, you’ll like this one.
I enjoyed unholy cross which was Unholy and Lorelei’s story. It was an intense and intriguing read. I received an early copy of the book. And voluntarily leaving this review.
The MCs are so broken and dark with such wonderful chemistry. They ultimately save each other from their past and the danger of their present. The darkness in their souls also help to get their vengeance and bring them into a better place. There will always be a little darkness inside them but they end up loving each other without regret. I highly recommend this book to all dark romance readers.
This book was nothing that I expected after reading the blurb. In my opinion it was much better. Aera Cross was in a bar when he was mistaken for somebody else. The man that approached him asked him to rescue his daughter Lorelei for a price. He was suspicious after seeing the girls picture because she looked nothing like the man. But based off of her picture and the explanation of her gift he decided he couldn't turn it down and that he would keep her for himself. You see she had the gift and be able to heal people. Before he could rescue her she was able to escape. They went on the run together but they kept getting found. He vowed to protect her no matter the cost. I absolutely love these two together because him being a rough biker and her and innocent girl who had her life stolen. She brought out the soft side of him.
This book is as heart breaking as it’s full of redemption. The main characters both had horrendous childhoods. Their connection and chemistry is palpable. She chased away his demons and he helped her see herself. She brought out parts of him that were softer and more vulnerable. I could not put this book down. If this is book 1, I can’t imagine what book 2 is going to be like. This was an intense read but absolutely great.
This was an intense start to this new dark series. Lorelei has been held and hurt for years as an evil doctor tried to pry her secrets from her. A miracle escape finds her self running into a dark tattooed man who says she is safe with him. Aera Cross has darkness in his soul and one look at Lorelei and he knows she is his salvation. I was totally taken in by some of the psychological twists in this story. Be in touch with your triggers. I am looking forward to seeing where the author takes this series next.
This was a quick read and enjoyable read. There was action, danger, betrayal, lots of feels, and spice. Both Cross and Lorelei had experienced their own versions of darkness or pain. They happened to be what the other needed to heal. Overall, I think it was a good book!
What a wild ride! I have read other novels by this author and really enjoyed them. This novel did not disappoint. From the first chapter this novel pulled me in and held on tight. What a wild ride! My heart hurt for Lorelai and all that she had been put thru her whole life. I loved Aera and Lorelai's story. I love despite all she had been thru she opened her heart to Aera and helped heal him and all the past trauma he had been thru. Their chemistry was so good! This novel had me on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns. Once I started reading I had a hard time putting it down. I loved watching them both lower their walls and defenses and open themselves up to each other and fall in love despite all they had been thru. I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next.
Good start to a new series, a great redemption story and continuing with the PNR themes. Lot's of drama, suspense, twist an turns. Well worth the read

Book had it all drama and suspense and of course the authors ever present expertise of delivering all of with the dark romance twist and throw in the MC and you have a awesome read. Can't wait for the the next in the series.
Aera Cross was introduced in Shadow Obsession when he held Vivi Wence prisoner. Kicked out of his MC, Cross has been moving around. Mistaken identity brings him to Lorelei, a woman capable of healing others. Knowing that she could keep his demons away, he planned to keep her once he rescued her. Area isn't really a hero, but for Lorelei he is her hero. I liked their relationship. Lorelei softens him in some ways and he helps her feel free to be more confident.
This is definitely not your typical MC book!!! The story is very well written with just the right amount of spice and romance mixed in. Cross and Lorelei are a very nice couple with personalities that match perfectly. After everything Lorelei went through, the fact that she opens her heart and gets her voice back at the same time is incredible!!

Unholy Cross is book 1 in the Deadly & Ruthless series. Aera and Lorelai's story is absolutely heartbreaking! Aera having lived through complete horrors as a child and Lorelai, having such a special gift and being used and taken advantage of because of it in a horrific way by someone who was supposed to help her. You know what they say about payback though. Their journey is dramatic, intense and consuming. "Were they two halves of a whole? Two souls so deeply intertwined they couldn’t be separated?"
Unholy Cross is the first book in the Deadly & Ruthless series. The book is full of drama, action, suspense, twists, betrayals, and elements of redemption and the paranormal. The characters are gritty and realistic. I could not put the book down and read it in one sitting.Book 2 will have a lot to live up to, especially in the action and underlying paranormal theme.
This one was so freaking good. I mean Cross and Lorelei ?totally amazing. Cross was sent to rescues Lorelei from an evil Doctor, by the very man that sold her. Cross decides he want Lorelei all to himself, So he keeps her. Lorelei feeling totally free and safe with Cross start to fall in love with him. He keeps her safe and she heals him. Total HEA ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ?️?️?️?️?️
