A quick, hot, shifter Christmas story
I enjoyed reading A Mate for Christmas, it was a quick read but was action packed from the start, it was intriguing with humour, action, and drama (of the ex boyfriend variety) it includes shifters, a boss / PA, and an app to match shifters. River, who is a smart and confident PA is not initially aware she is communicating with Carter who is a hot, but grumpy alphahole who is her new boss, and things progress from there.... I am really looking forward to the next book, this was one of my favourite Jade Marshall books to date.

Wonderful
I loved reading Carter and River’s story in A mate for Christmas by Jade Marshall. River is tired of her worthless boyfriend and is ready to get rid of him and find someone knew when she starts talking to someone on line she never imagined it was her boss. Unable to deny the heat and chemistry between them they navigate through the complications this could mean. When her ex shows up and causes trouble he is there to make him pay in the best way possible.

A wonderful paranormal Christmas romance
I love how River & Carter met when he & her former boss switch assistants. They then meet on a dating app but don't realize who the other person is. From there they work out their relationship with some bumps on the way. The characters are fun and full of sass which makes this short book fun to read.

River is a smart, curvy, and confident ligress shifter. She has just broken up with her boyfriend and joined a dating app. Carter is a hunky, somewhat grumpy, alphahole CEO, tiger shifter, and River's new boss. He has also joined a dating site hoping to find a match. He finds River attractive but avoids her as she works for him, and she thinks he's a jerk. When he and River are anonymously matched on the dating app, things are about to get mighty interesting, especially when he realizes they are mates. These two had insanely hot chemistry, and the ending was happy after some ex drama. I loved it so much. This might be one of my favorite books by Jade to date!.

This fated mates spicy short is just what I was looking for after the holidays. After River breaks things off with Kevin, she is convinced by her friend Devon to sign up on a dating app. Big shot CEO Carter, a tiger shifter, in a dating slump of his own checks his app to see if there are any matches for him. Poor guy just wants to settle down with someone who is not a gold digger. And as fate would have it, River and Carter’s lives have intertwined with one another. When he saves her and takes her to a secluded island, things heat up between the two. This was a fun read with the right spice.

Loved this hot feisty shapeshifter story!
I love that it’s a short read but it has an actual story, as well as plenty of heat! The alpha male lead is drool worthy but I love that the female lead is no shrinking violet or damsel in distress, even when she was in distress. I love that she is sexy & confident even if she’s inexperienced. And who better to show her the ropes than her super hot alpha boss!

A Mate for Christmas!
This is the first story in the new series but can be enjoyed as a stand alone read. It is fairly short and quick but delivers a good story with strong, likable characters. The story is about River and Carter, a ligress shifter and a tiger shifter . The story begins with River, being feed up and kicking her boyfriend, a bear shifter, to the curb, as she heads to work. She is greeted by her favorite barista who shares a dating ap with her. When she gets to work she finds she has been moved to another area. Carter, owner of the company she works for, agrees to switch assistants with his employee. In the meantime he checks to see if he has a match on the dating ap his client recommended. Carter meets his new assistant and is fighting the attraction. She thinks he is a surly grump, among other things. What little do they know they are about to be matched. I enjoyed this story!!! It is very steamy with some danger, excitement, suspense, fated and much more.

Excellent office romance / Secret identity story. Characters are enjoyable and sex is spicy. This is a smart fast-paced story with low angst and some light touches of humor . I really enjoyed the creative Payback on Kevin. Her Monday started out truly awesome and the hea was nice. This is a story I would reread.

This is one short, but spicy romances. Carter is older than River, but that does not matter because their attraction is strong and magnetic. There is a thin line between love and hate, but they are definitely made for each other. It was an entertaining book. Great start to a new series.

Short and satisfying
This is a short, satisfying little shifter romance. River is a young, ambitious assistant while Carter is the older, ambitious head of the company where River is employed. But when River is transferred to work with Carter, neither realizes that not only are they both shifters, but also that they’ve been having some rather salacious conversations on the dating app where they’ve matched. So it’s the old “Shop Around the Corner” premise of two people not liking each other at work and not realizing they’re falling for one another outside of it. Add to it a threatening ex and a dash of billionaire fantasy, and you’ve got a nice short read that left me content and satisfied.

I thought the idea of the dating app was a good idea. There was some drama with her ex-boyfriend but what actually happened to him? A ligress and a tiger what a great pairing. I can never resist a good alpha. The story was good for a short shifter romance.

This was an engaging and spicy romance for Carter and River. She just kicked her wretched bf to the curb and signed up for a mating match on a dating site. Carter, all work and no play, was ready for love and signed up, too. It was hilarious that these two worked together but didn't know they were chatting because they wanted to explore their possible connection without the influence of pics or real names. Lol! I loved seeing their romance unfold and how they fit together so well. Carter was an alpha, through and through, and while River was strong and confident, she wanted a dominant mate...which she got ;P I'm looking forward to the next book :D

Another Thrilling Read!! If you are looking for a short and steamy read this is the one for you. I loved this book from the very beginning. Carter is a cold, alpha male who wants what he wants, but finds himself being knocked on his butt when he meets his new assistant River. I loved how their relationship develops and the chemistry between the two. I was kept guessing on what was going to happen next I liked that it wasn't just a typical story that followed all the other stories that are like it. I recommend this read and be prepared to be swept away. I highly recommend this book.

Ok, wasn't expecting this but oh boy was it good. I am a fan of this author. I found River and Carter to be so enjoyable. The story was short but whew the spiciness and mutal attraction. I loved Carter's revenge and then how he loved and cared for River. Good read and highly recommend.

A mate for Christmas is a spicy, short but entertaining read. The story line is not cookie cutter and the characters are likable. i enjoyed the mixture of the dating app along with the shifter side. The warning concerning someone possibly being triggered by the violence in the story is warranted. Overall, if you're looking for a well- written, brief read, I would recommend this book.
