For the longest time, Cyrus Tistleton has wanted Willow Evans, but he kept his distance as she was helping her sick mother. He also promised her mother he would give Willow time. That he would allow her the chance to heal, but when the time was right, he wouldn’t allow anyone else to take her.
After the passing of her mother, Willow felt lost, but she did everything her mother asked her to do. She healed. Now, it was time to help the people of Lost Creek. They needed someone willing to watch surveillance all day, and she is more than happy to take the job. There was a catch though—Cyrus will help her get the job, so long as she agrees to go on a date with him.
In the town of Lost Creek there are a group known as The Reapers. Their goal is to keep everyone safe, and to keep all dangers out. Cyrus is a member of the Reapers.
As for Willow, to help make ends meet, she became an author, of the erotic kind. However, Cyrus knows she’s a virgin, and it’s now time to put all of her imagination and fantasies into play.

Cyrus pulled his truck into the small parking space in front of her home. The main lights illuminated the whole street.
Willow looked toward her home, then over to Cyrus.
“I had a great time tonight,” she said.
“Me too.”
“Do you want to come in for coffee?” she asked.
“Willow, I want to come in, but not to drink coffee. I want to … lick your pussy,” he said.
His words made her bite her lip, and then glance down at the dashboard.
He was being honest with her. Willow wasn’t a fool. She knew about the town Reapers, and she also knew their identities needed to be kept silent.
“I think, seeing as you’ve been honest with me, I think it is only fair I’m honest with you.” She pressed her lips together. She wasn’t going to say anything, at least not for a long time. “I know you’re a Reaper,” she said. There, she just blurted it out. “I know you can’t say anything, and I shouldn’t know, but I do. That’s why you went and dealt with that guy. It’s why the list of people I have to call in case of an emergency is not just the sheriff, it’s you or Daniel, or George, or Hank, and so many others.”
He didn’t say anything.
“Are you mad?” Willow asked.
“No, I’m not mad, just shocked.”
“Mom knew Dad was one,” Willow said. “He was honest with the two of us, and he was also honest that he couldn’t remain as one either. It really upset him. I hope I’ve not broken any code.”
He shook his head. “Family members tend to know, or not know. I think it depends on the person and if they feel they can handle it.”
“You knew my secret and I guess I wanted you to know that I also knew yours.” She turned to look at him. “Does that change anything?”
“No, I still want to lick your pussy, but what I can tell you is that tomorrow morning, I’ve got to leave early to do Reaper things.”
“Okay.”
“Do you still want to invite me in?” he asked.
She looked toward her house. “Yes.”
There was a part of her brain that was screaming no, because she didn’t have the first clue what she was doing. Another side of her brain wanted to know what to do. She wanted to get naked with Cyrus and do the kinds of things she wrote about in her books.
Climbing out of the truck, Willow didn’t linger and instead went to her front door. She had only taken one sip of her beer, and that had been enough to remind her of the rotten taste of beer. It was so gross. For the rest of the night, it was soda all the way.
Still, her hand shook a little as she tried to push the key into the hole. Cyrus took the key from her and slid it in, unlocking her door. She knew Lost Creek was a safe town. Her parents hadn’t gotten out of the habit of locking the door, and she still did.
Stepping into her home, she flicked on the light. She drew her curtains before she left for the night.
Cyrus closed the door, and she turned to look at him, and then she didn’t know what to do. She was nervous and excited. It was a lot easier to write what happened next. This was a whole new experience.
“Come here,” he said.
Willow stepped closer to him. There was a small gap between them. Not a lot, just enough, but Cyrus was the one to close it, as he reached out and gripped the back of her neck, and now they were body to body, toe to toe.
She tilted her head back to look at him. He was a lot taller than her, and she had no choice but to look at him like this.
His thumb stroked across her lips.
“Go upstairs, take off your dress. Take off everything. I want you naked, and lie on the edge of your bed. Lie back and spread your legs. When I come upstairs, I want to see you playing with your pussy.”
This book is really good. Willow and Cyrus have known each other all their lives, but they have never been together. Cyrus is part of the Reapers, the men who watch over and guard the town. He has been watching Willow for years, and now he is ready to claim her. I love how sweet Willow is and how Cyrus is so obsessed with her. This is a fantastic book with an even better happy ending.

Willow Evans, a secret romance author, has recently lost first her Dad and now her Mom. Cyrus has feelings for Willow, but he promised her Mom he would give her time to grieve. Willow has decided to get a job as a watcher; they monitor camera feeds all over the town and report any criminal or unwanted activity. Cyrus helps her get the job for a date. I liked how Cyrus was gentle and worked on Willow's timeline, not pushing her too fast. Reaper's Devotion is aptly named, as Cyrus was truly devoted to Willow.
Willow, a beautiful, sweet and grieving and young woman, who lost her mother, has a big heart and a crush on Cyrus. Cyrus, a member of the Reapers, protective, caring, strong and loyal, gave a vow to Willow’s mother and also has set his eyes on Willow for years. This book is filled with a slow burn romance, chemistry, spice, loyalty, danger, action and love. A perfect, entertaining and captivating story that lets you escape reality for a few hours.
This book was similar in setup to a previous book where in it, one person was in charge of the town, and in this book, a group called The Reapers controls the town. Cyrus is a member of The Reapers and has had his eye on Willow for quite some time. Cyrus promised Willow's mother, who was dying, that he would give her time to grieve. Now he is ready to make his move and begins a modern day courtship. There are a few pitfalls along the way but for the most part, theirs is a slow, sweet romantic story.
So good! I have read the first novel in the series and really enjoyed it! This novel did not disappoint. I was excited to jump back into this series and it did not let me down. From the first chapter this novel pulled me in and held on tight. I loved Cyrus and Willow's story. I loved how Cyrus was in love with Willow and willing to wait for her until she was ready. I loved how he was open to Willow and knew what she needed. Their chemistry was so good! Once I started reading I didn't want to stop reading, I needed to know what was coming next. So good! I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next.
I received a copy of this book via Evernight and am voluntarily leaving a review. Love this MC. All their men are alpha daddies and they bring it all! You will not be bored with any of them.
I found this book to be a very good book. The story had a good flow and was well written. The main couple had very romantic chemistry between them. I would recommend this book to others.
Sam Crescent has done it again. This is an awesome Reaper's love story. Cyrus and Willow are the perfect couple. Their love story is so full of chemistry and love. The plot flows smoothly and the story grabs you right from the first chapter. I highly recommend this book to all romance readers.
Cyrus and Willow’s story has them coming together after her mother passes. He talked with her mother and she asked for him to give her grieving period then he could persue her. He has loved her for a long time. But she helps the Reaper’s out by watching video surveillance for them and calls them if/when she sees it. Things are happening and the Reaper’s take care of Lost Creek.
Sam Crescent has a way of pulling you right to the edge of your seat, and A Reaper’s Devotion is another great example of why I enjoy his work. In this second installment of The Reapers series, he delivers the perfect mix of intensity, steamy romance, and danger. The characters walk that fine line between being deeply loyal and downright intimidating, and it makes them compelling. In The Reaper series Crescent creates a world that feels authentic and alive, with characters who are complex, flawed, and entirely believable. Like the first book, this story follows another Reaper as he finds his one true love, but not without plenty of drama and action along the way. The pages fly by with a gripping blend of action, drama, emotional depth, and a sweet, steamy romance that keeps you rooting for the couple from start to finish. The town of Lost Creek feels like it’s in good hands with the Reapers and the strong women by their side. This is steamy read with plenty of reaper action.
Love Willow and Cyrus’s story! These two were destined for each other and I love how their relationship developed. There was some gripping action to help balance the sweetness. Very satisfying read!

This was another engaging read for the series and I loved seeing Willow get an HEA after the grief she's suffered. Cyrus knew Willow was it for him and actually talked to her mother just before she passed. With a plan to let her grieve for a bit, and keep a secret close eye on her, he finally got his perfect moment when she showed up for a job. What follows is a fun romance that really got Willow out of her small space but I do like that she was really invested in their community. She's got a big secret, though, and apparently Cyrus knows it. That's ok because she knows his big secret, too ;P Lol! This was fun with hot chemistry but, of course, there's action, danger and a wild adventure to go with all the love. I read this is one go and can't wait for the next Reaper's book :D
This book was all kinds of sweet. I enjoyed how this was written. Willow lived her life revolved around her family she was never interested in boy or even dating. Her mother was very much loved and involved in the community of their small town, and she pushed Willow to be like that as well so she wouldn't be lonely when she died. Cyrus has loved Willow for a long time and has waited till he knew she wold be ready after grieving her mom. I loved everything about this story, and beware once you pick it up you will want to finish it all the way. This was very well-written and can't wait to see what else comes this author has planned for this series. This is a must read!!

This is Cyrus and Willow's story and I found it thoroughly enjoyable. While this is first and for most their story there is more going on as well. When an evil man comes to town can he be stopped? I found the ending particularly satisfying as there is a bit of redemption thrown in as well but you will have to read it to see for who. I highly recommend you check it out and see.
Very enjoyable read with Cyrus and Willow. Together they built off of each other's strengths. Cyrus was great in Daniel and Amy's story and even better in his own. I loved the fact that Ray was able to redeem himself. The villian was taken care of and the Reapers did their thing. Good read.
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. In this book we meet Willow Evans & Cyrus Tistleton. When this book opens we find Cyrus trying to clean up another one of his brothers mistake. While doing this though he finds he gets a glimpse of Willow. Willow has been taking care of her mom before she lost her battle with cancer. When she wants to do something to give back she talks to the one person who can help her. Can they find a HEA or will others make sure that never happens? Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Book 2 of The Reapers does not disappoint. Cyrus and Willow were captivating. I wish the story was a little bit longer. I was hooked from the start. Its steamy, thrilling and a great read.

Another Reapers protecting their town so get comfortable you won’t be putting it down until the last page has been turned. Cyrus sexy as all get out Reaper has been waiting a while for his girl he has known she was his for the moment to meet her but lost her father, then dealing with her mother who was sick and so he couldn’t or wouldn’t put any more on her yet her mother requested that he take care of her after she was gone because she believed they belonged together, and so he will do everything he needs to do for his girl all while protecting her. Willow has been through so much losing her dad now taking care of her mom who was diagnosed with cancer but she loves her town secretly she has crushed on the one man that is a constant in her life, her mom loves him and when she gets the job to watch the tows feeds because he is always busy being the certified plumber and electrician so helping with watching the town’s feed allows them to be closer. Willow notices a women needs help while with a man she knows she needs to call the Reapers to get help for her but things don’t go as smoothly as they would have liked but do they save the girl, will he be honest with his feelings for her, will she be honest with her feeling, and can they find the happiness while saving their town?
A quick MC romance story. Book 2 of The Reapers is Cyrus and Willow’s story, he promised her mother that he would give Willow time to grieve before he pursued her. And when he does it’s with gentile fingers and a heart made of gold. I enjoyed this fast paced addition to the series with drama, danger and romance collide with a HEA.
Cyrus is livid with his brother, Ray, for what he did- that he took a bribe and things went totally to heck for the Reapers because of it. The leader of the Reapers is Daniel and Cyrus has been waiting for Willow Evans to be ready, as she had lost her father years ago, and now her mother. Her mother had been so proud of Willow that she had blabbed her big secret to Cyrus, because she always believed that Willow & he were meant for each other. Willow talks to Cyrus and gets him to let her help out to watch the feeds that protected the town. That was the Reapers job- to protect Lost Creek and keep everyone safe. Cyrus is a qualified electrician and plumber so he is always busy, especially with his Reaper duties on top of that. Cyrus & Willow are perfect together and are so cute. Willow notices one day on her screen that a woman is making a ‘help me sign’ with her hand behind her back when she is with a man. Willow calls that in and the Reapers save the woman and things get sooooo much worse after that. The book is fun, funny, sweet, scary, romantic, steamy, and a bunch of other things. Cyrus and Ray reconnect and Ray has changed so much. I was impressed. I can’t wait to see what happens next
This is the story of Willows and Cyrus. He bides his time in the shadows, watching over her as she cares for her dying mother. And he continues to bides his time after her mother's death so she can heal—until the moment arrives when he gives in to his desire and shows her who he is, that he longs for her and loves her. A wonderful story.
This is the second story in the new "Reapers' series; a series that is a little different. This is a fairly short and quick read with some passion, love, danger, suspense, family, community and much more. The tourist small town of Lost Creek was once a very dangerous place to live until one incident woke up the towns people. A secret society was formed to take back their town. Nobody but the Reaper members know who is in the secret group. At least others are not supposed to know. The group stands up for and takes care of their own people and their town. This story is about Cyrus and Willow. Cyrus, is having a hard time dealing with what his brother did while working surveillance. Willow, wants to take over the job of surveillance. Cyrus, encourages it, because he has been longing to get closer to her. He has watched her for a long time, now he acts of his feelings. Willow, a sweet and lovely, young lady is trying to move on after her mother's death. She has a secret though. This is a really good story that was very addictive. I love the characters! I cannot wait to see who the next story is about. This one does touch on a dark subject matter.
After Cyrus’s brother Ray took a bribe and put the people of Lost Creek in danger, the Reapers need someone new to monitor all the surveillance cameras placed around the city. Cyrus knows just the right person for the job and as it happens, Willow really wants that position. Having been interested in Willow for a while, Cyrus seizes the chance and offers her the job in exchange for a date with him. It turns out Willow is exceptionally good at watching people: she spots a distress signal from a young woman, and thanks to her sharp eyes, the Reapers, a group dedicated to keeping Lost Creek safe, are able to rescue the woman from a kidnapper. The first date between Cyrus and Willow goes wonderfully, and before long, they begin a relationship. But it doesn’t take long for the danger surrounding Lost Creek to reach Willow… I loved this book! Both Willow and Cyrus are lovable protagonists, and I also enjoyed getting to know more about their families.
I forgot about this series. Lost Creek is a town that is protected by watchers, a group that most aren't supposed to know who belongs to it. Willow and Cyrus are a perfect match. It has taken time for them to get together especially with Willow's mom having recently passed. As they begin finding their way to each other, things in town are blowing up. They have to navigate that and building a relationship. I really like this series.
The second story in the Reapers, Cyrus Tistleton has wanted Willow Evans for some time, but his dying Mother asked him to give her time to heal. The story is well written with a very good storyline, great characters and a happy ending that I enjoyed reading.
Cyrus is so cute, his love and devotion to Willow was a pleasure to read. He had loved her for a long time but he also knew she needed to deal with the death of her mom. Once he realises she is ready he is all in. They are such a cute couple and the fact that Cyrus knows her secret and keeps it to himself for so long is chiefs kiss. Another winner.
Cyrus has been waiting and watching over Willow for years. He promised her mother to take care of her and treat her like a queen. He is a man of his word and when he finally pursues Willow he doesn’t hold back. It’s a steamy story with a lot of heart and some danger too. Loved it and the series so far. Their HEA is so freaking amazing

So when she wants to join the guards who watch the towns security cameras he invites her out on a date first. Cyrus is part of the not so secret group of men called the Reapers, they are the ones who keep the town of Lost Creek safe. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. Please enjoy.
This is the second book of the series and I highly recommend reading the first before picking this up. Cyrus is one of the "secret" Reapers of Lost Creek. He's been patiently waiting to start a relationship with Willow. Willow is the town sweetheart and loves living in Lost Creek. I enjoyed the side story twist throughout as well as the redemption of a character from the former book. I'm hoping we get more Reaper stories.
Cyrus has been keeping his distance from Willow to let her grieve. The loss of her mother needed to be mourned. He talked to her mother prior and had her blessing. Now he was going to make Willow his. Willow had loved her mother and grieved for her. Now she needed to move forward. Being one of the watchers for the town would be a big help. Secretly, she was an author. When Cyrus agree to her helping them there was one catch, go on a date with him. You got to see their relationship take bloom. Cyrus never rushed her and took his time. He made her feel special. We learn about what happened with Ray, his brother. And Willow uncovers an abuser. I love that they told you about the universal sign for help. That is very important in today’s world. I enjoyed this one. Nothing too violent. Very romantic and sweet.
Devotion at its Best! Cyrus had waited patiently for Willow, always there for her, looking out for her and being a friend to her until the moment he knew it was time to make a play and claim what was his. What a wonderful storyline full of romance, devotion, swoon-worthy moments and love! A little bit of action, wonderful characters and some steamy moments make this an entertaining feel-good read you won’t want to put down.
I was eagerly awaiting this story. I love Sam Crescent’s book range, but the Reaper book(s) have a hold on me…. Another winner! Willow and Cyrus were seriously sweet, even in their dirty moments. I loved the contract between their story and the darkness of the second plot - and I’m wondering who’s going to be next!
This was a good short read! The intensity of how they protected everyone in the small town was amazing! The story line was interesting and kept your attention and the characters were well developed. You knew when you read about them the kind of person they were. A really great short read!
Absolutely loved them together! I liked how honest they were with each other and there was no stupid miscommunication. They were great!
He has known she was the one for him for years. She was going through a lot, especially when her mom was diagnosed with cancer, so he promised her mother that he would give her time to grieve before he laid claim. She has been through it. First they lost her dad, and now a year ago she lost her mom to cancer. She loves her town, they have really been there for her. She has secretly had a crush on him for years, and when he approaches her she is excited a nervous, but it finally seems like it might be their time. I enjoyed both of these characters, they were well laid out and I felt invested in them. The narration was a little different in that it seemed to switch back and forth between MMC and FMC POV but there was also a lot of 3rd party narration which got a little confusing at times. I originally thought that the Reapers were an MC but it is more like a secret society but none of that was really laid out well so that was a little odd to me. Some of the transitions were also odd, they have their first spicy scene, and it jumps ahead, it took a little bit for me to figure out if they had done the deed or not as it was a little ambiguous. They get their happily ever after, and you just root for both of them, but the surrounding story was a little dicey at times for me.
This is a short read. This is Cyrus and Willow’s story. He has watched her from afar, waiting for the right moment. Willow has been taking care of her mother for so long and has had a secret from the town. She asked Cyrus if she could work the surveillance, will he let her? What will the cost be? What will he do to keep her safe?
This is a charming and romantic story about a small town where a plumber/electrician/ Reaper finally asks out Willow, the girl of his dreams. There is a lot of romance and some suspense that will keep the pages of this short story turning!
Willow is a sweet and innocent girl. She has spent her time taking care of her mom. Her mom passed away and now, she has to sell her house. Cyrus has always liked Willow and he is going after his girl. Cyrus belongs to the Reapers. Members watch over the town making sure trouble makers stay out. This is the second book in this series. There isn’t any angst with this couple. There is no other woman/man situation or third act separation. They fall in love, have plenty of sex and get engaged. A very sweet book.
