The breath stalled in her throat when his hand skimmed over her naked body. When his fingers skimmed in between her ass cheeks, it sent tingles of awareness through her. Instead of being apprehensive, she was ready for anything and everything he gave her.

She nodded. Her hands slowly slid over him. When she slid down over his chest and further, she was surprised that he was naked. “Did you sleep like that?”
He grinned. “Yes. You’ll sleep naked now, too. I don’t want anything between us.”
Sage didn’t either. When her hand tried to touch his cock, he grabbed onto it.

This was a quick story. Sage has survived the most horrendous life thus far and is a trafficking survivor living recovering and working with newcomers. She is watching the leaders of the centre living a DDLG lifestyle she wants the same lifestyle and dreams of a daddy of her own. Sebastian works undercover for the organization and decides he wants to move to the centre to serve in other ways. There is an instant attraction for Sage but knows it will take some time for her to let her guard down and accept him. There are spankings and sizzling steam. I loved this story and I highly recommend it.
I've read a lot of books written by Lila Fox; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is part of the Daddy Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Sage & Sebastian.
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. In this book we meet Sage & Sebastian. Sage is a woman that has gone through some horrors that no woman should ever go through. When she ends up in House of Compassion she finds a purpose but still can't seem to fight all her demons. Sebastian has been under cover for years now. When he comes back to the House of Compassion he thinks he has finally found what he has been looking for. One look at Sage he knows he has found his little. When he learns who she really is to him he wonders how hard he will have to fight for her. Can they find a HEA or will they forever be stuck in the past? Another amazing hit out of the park by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
He is the perfect man for her and he is exactly what she needs to be who she is meant to be. This was a really good book and can't wait to read more.
I really liked this one Sage has been through so much and is gutwrenching horror until Sebastian her savior finds his little in saving her. So much pain and anguish and nervous thoughts go through her head but this was about surviving and dealing with what comes next in life. I loved it I wanted to know more.
This was a quick, sweet story. There was so much that could have been added to make this a full length novel. I very much enjoyed it for what it was though. Loved Sebastian for Sage. You can never go wrong with a strong, supportive Daddy!
This was an odd book for me. I'm not normally into reading "daddy books" but this one intrigued me and I couldn't stop reading. I instantly hated the father and ex-boyfriend. But loved the strong will and the power to over come that hand she was delt.
A pretty short book with a happy ending. I wasn’t sure about the Daddy and Little trope but I was pleasantly surprised. A little bit of plot sprinkled with a good amount of sex scenes. The way it ended definitely opened it up to further books if the author wanted to!
Sage is a trafficking survivor and living at a welcome centre driven by the organisation who saved her. She is recovering and has started working with newcomers. The leaders of the centre is living in DDLG and she is kind of jealous of their connection and dreaming of a daddy of her own. Sebastian has worked undercover for the organisation for years and has decided he can’t be in the field anymore and moved to the centre to serve in other ways. When he sees Sage for the first time he feels an instant attraction to her but knows they have a hard road ahead. I really loved this book.
This is a stand alone read in the "Daddy" series. This one is does have some possible triggers and deals with human trafficking. The author does a good job touching on the subject but not going into too much detail. The story is about Sage and Sebastian/Sebby. Sage is a survivor of trafficking and now helps with others that the The House of Compassion has rescued. She is still dealing with PTSD from her ordeal and one particular case really challenges her. Sebastian has been undercover rescuing women and children and now has come home to the center. He sees Sage and realizes she may be the little he has been searching for. Sage finds a special place in his heart and he will do what it takes to protector her and care for her. This is a sweet and steamy story with some excitement, angst, betrayal, suspense, danger, passion, trust, love, tenderness, compassion and more. I enjoyed this story so much.
This was my first book in the series and then I went and started the series from the beginning. I loved how he was with Sage. a page turner
I didn’t want this book to finish. It was such a good read but what she went through. Heart breaking but once she found him her life got better
It is hard for me to understand this kink, but this books made it more normal and kind of romantic, at the end is an alpha male which protects and loves his (little) woman, and in this case, help her with her past traumas.
Having been sold to traffickers who used and abused her for months the main female lead Sage has quite a few issues, which is understandable. This book touches upon how she is dealing with her new life in a very touching and emotive way and there were some moments that were incredibly difficult to read. Sebastian works at the centre that rescued Sage and where she now lives/works and is enamoured by her and desperate to make her his little. He's patient and understanding even at times when Sage is really kicking off which I enjoyed. I would have liked for more on how the people who sold her were going to be dealt with but understand the focus of the book was on Sebastian and Sages's relationship
This was a gripping and intense read that brings together Sage and Sebastian. These two start a DDlg relationship but this story is one of abuse/human trafficking recovery so much of their tale is on nurturing and healing. I was gutted over what Sage went through but loved how patient and determined Sebastian was. She needed someone totally dedicated to her and on her side to get the closure she needed - especially after the shocking twist that was revealed. There still is spice in this story but I was engaged with how strong she was and how she was able to offer comfort to others in need, making this a one-sit read for me. Well done!
This is a sweet Age-play DDLG story and a strong little Sage who has overcome so much pain and deception in her life and is struggling to heal. And the Daddy who has rescued so many from horrible situations who finds his own Little in Sage. There are steamy scenes with spanking to spice things up. This was a awesome read and a novella you won't put down. Another fabulous read by Lila Fox
This was a little different from others but it was enjoyable all the same, i like that sage was rescued although I could not get what was the problem of being rescued that she has to hide. I also like the way Sebastian didn't leave her to drag the matter. They were both matured to some point and have really good characters. I enjoyed it
This story is not what I was expecting. It is a dd/lg but focuses more on the nurturing part of it instead of the spicy parts. It does fit the story better this way. Sage is a human trafficking survivor and suffers from PTSD. Sebastian wants her and to help her get through her struggles.
Sebastian and Sage’s love story is a short read that was sweet and sad in parts but was a really good read in the end
The first part of the tale is difficult. Imagining what happened to those women is hard, so I'm glad she doesn't go into detail. The one big problem I had with this tale is when they get to the point where they are going to be together, she starts thinking about how hard it was with her ex. Considering what she'd just come through, that little bit didn't make sense. Otherwise, there are fantastical hurdles that she surpasses rather quickly and a happy ending. I wish we heard more about what happens with her father and fiancé. That was a bit of a hanging thread for me.
Love the way Sebastian is able to make Sage see her worth and work past the evils that have consumed her past. His ability to help her heal from the damage that was done to her by those that were supposed to protect her. This book hits you straight in the feelings.
The first half of this story is gut wrenching. The female lead lived through extreme abuse prior to the beginning of the story but is still dealing with what she lived through. She is a survivor and wants to help others. When she meets Sebastian her life changes once again. Its nice to see her healing as the story progresses.
