Fallen Angels MC, 1

Raven Guzman has never believed in a charmed life. Finding a woman on the side of the highway, beaten and left for dead, only drives that home. Not knowing who she is, his choices are limited but he can’t leave her there to die. No woman should ever be treated like this, and he would make sure she never had to endure something like this again.

Taylynn couldn’t keep living like she had been. When she was taken in by men wearing leather like the men who had nearly killed her, she didn’t know who to trust. Was she incurring a debt she had no way to pay, or were these men different than the one’s she’d dealt with before?

Can Taylynn learn to trust again or will her past keep her from discovering that there's more to life than pain and betrayal?

Excerpt:

Taylynn stood staring at the man who had seemed so nice. He wanted to know what her name was. She didn’t know if she should tell him.

Ace had seemed nice once, too. Look how that had turned out.

She glanced around the room, looking for something to say, anything. She noticed she was close enough to read his patches now. The one that said Raven didn’t surprise her but the one below it that read President. That one made her want to run away. Ace had been the president, too. That meant no one would stop him when he became cruel, and if he ordered others to help, they did, without question.

“Where did he go?” the words came out before she was aware of thinking them.

“Who?” The guy who had been watching her sleep, the one who had helped her to the bathroom and back, the one whose patch said he was called Raven asked.

“The doctor.” She lifted her good hand to motion to where he’d been sitting on the far side of the bed she’d been in when she’d woken. “Is there any way I can sit up? I’m tired but I don’t want to lay flat like that.” What she didn’t say, and didn’t want to, was that being flat like that made her feel weak. Like anyone could come in and do whatever they wanted to her. She was exhausted after a trip to the bathroom and knew she wouldn’t have the strength to fight them off, even if she had a weapon, but sitting up would help her feel less vulnerable.

“Dax!” the man beside her startled her when he yelled, and she couldn’t help but jump a little but she refused to acknowledge it. Especially since he hadn’t been talking to her, but calling for someone else.

“Yes?” the same face she’d seen earlier appeared in the doorway. So his name was Dax. What about the guy who’d been watching her, the one called Raven? And the other guy? The doctor?

“Get me all the extra pillows you can find. Don’t raid the brothers’ rooms, but anything else, bring in here.” The man who had watched her sleep turned to her. “We’ll have a way to prop you upright soon. Until then, why don’t you sit on the edge of bed. I can see you’re tired. Your body is doing a lot to heal you. That’s using a lot of energy. We’ll have some food brought for you soon. You didn’t tell me your name. That’s okay if you don’t want to tell me, but I need something to call you if you don’t want me to use the other term.”

She blinked. What did she want them to call her? What did she call them?

“Who are you?” she asked after a moment. She turned and sat on the edge of the bed, careful to keep her feet on the floor, at least for now. She wanted to be able to get up if she needed to. Not that she had the strength to do much more than stand, but she would try.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t even think about you not knowing us. I’m Raven. Our medic is Freud, he’ll be back soon. Dax,” he tilted his head toward the open doorway, “is a prospect. Like I said before, you’re in the Fallen Angels’ clubhouse. We’ll do everything we can to help you get better.”

She looked up at him, wondering what he was thinking. Raven. She’d heard of him. Ace hadn’t had anything good to say about him, but then Ace hadn’t had anything good to say about anyone.

“I’ve heard of you. My name’s Taylynn. You can call me that or nearly anything. Anything but sweetheart. That’s what one of the Demons used to call all the women there, whether they were there by choice or not.”

“They keep women against their will?” Raven asked.

Taylynn didn’t have the energy to do more than nod her head. She should know, she was one of the women who hadn’t been there voluntarily and she knew she wasn’t the only one. But these men were strangers, she reminded herself. She couldn’t trust them to be any different than the ones who had tried to kill her. She had no doubt it was sheer luck that she was alive now.

She didn’t look up to see how Raven took her admission. Instead, she took as deep a breath as her ribs would let her and tried to prepare herself for what life would be like after she recovered. They hadn’t said anything, not yet, but she had no doubt that between the medical care and the food they would give her, as Raven had already ordered someone to bring her broth, she’d have a significant debt to work off.

Working off the debt wasn’t something she looked forward to, but she could handle it. Hell, she’d spent most of the last year in the Iron Demons’ clubhouse working off the debt her father had left her. While it hadn’t been easy, or pleasant, she’d survived. And she would survive this.  Once it was done, and she was free, she could go somewhere far away and start a new life. Somewhere no one knew what had happened to her. Somewhere no one knew what she’d had to do to survive.

“All right, let’s get a better idea of what we’re dealing with,” the guy Raven had called the medic came back into the room. He glanced at her, then at his president, at least according to the patch on the vest Raven wore, before looking back to her. “How do you feel?” he asked.

“I’m okay.” Taylynn said. Like she would admit anything else. Telling anyone how bad she hurt and where only told them where they could hurt her more to make her do what they wanted.

“Taylynn, this is Freud. He’s our medic. He’ll do everything he can to help you. He’ll treat your physical needs at least.”

She looked at Raven, trying to decide if she could trust the two of them. Or however many Angels there were. She’d heard of the Fallen Angels. Everyone who spent more than a few minutes in Ace’s presence had heard about them. And none of it had been good.

But now, as she sat in the Angels’ clubhouse, looking back and forth between their president and the medic, she had to wonder how much of what Ace said was true. And if his tales of the Angels were lies, how much of the rest of what came out of his mouth had been, too?

“I understand we’re waiting for pillows?” Freud said behind her.

“We are,” Raven confirmed. “Dax should be back with them any minute.”

“All right, young lady. While we wait, can you answer a few questions for me?” Freud said.

Taylynn started to twist around to look at him but as she started the movement pain shot through her torso leaving her breathless as she mentally kicked herself for doing something so stupid. This wasn’t the first time she’d been hurt, though she didn’t think it had ever been quite this bad before. A hand came up and lightly touched her back. Not sure who it was, she wanted to move away but couldn’t, at least not until she caught her breath.

“Careful, sweetheart,” Freud said, making her mentally cringe.

“She doesn’t like sweetheart. Her name is Taylynn,” Raven said from in front of her.

“All right then, Taylynn. That was question number one. I’ve got several others but let’s make sure you’re comfortable first. Would you rather be in a chair until we can get the pillows in here?” Freud’s voice was gentle, even as the hand against her back was firm and supportive without hurting her.

She closed her eyes and focused on breathing through the pain for a moment before answering. Even if she could answer right now, there was no way she could stand or move until this passed. After a minute or two—she really couldn’t tell how long it had been—she was able to breathe again without wanting to curl up and cry.

“Here’s what I could find.” Dax appeared in the doorway, arms filled with pillows. She had to smile at the haphazard collection he’d gathered. He had taken Raven at his word when he’d told him to gather them all. There were pillows that looked like they came from someone’s bed, some that obviously came with a sofa or something similar, and what looked like the back cushions off some large piece of furniture.

This is the first book of a series and I can't wait to read the next! When Raven and his men spot a beaten and bloody Taylynn on the side of the road, she's immediately taken back to their clubhouse. Once they hear her story- they're out for revenge. I love the protective side of Raven and how he'd do anything for Taylynn.

Angels and Demons
Written by Reader62 on 24th May 2025

A beaten and broken young woman, found on wasteland almost near death. Taylynn. Raven, President of Fallen Angel's MC, knew something had caught his attention but was dismayed at what he found and knew exactly where the blame lay..The Iron Demons MC. A club so far apart from his own in regards to morals, behaviours and values. Trust is hard to give. Patience is hard to hold, but it is not misplaced amongst the Angel's, but directed towards the Demons. The bad guys get their just desserts, the good guys win the battles, but it comes with a cost. Raven is a great character, in personality and strength. Taylynn is a victim of extreme abuse yet recognises kindness and compassion, despite feeling at odds with it. It is an interesting storyline, well written and developed.

Awesome read
Written by Laura Ann on 24th May 2025

Raven is the Prez of the Fallen Angels MC. After a run to Bozeman, they are on their way back home to Craven’s Creek, but they have to go through a rival MC’s county next to their own in order to get home. The Iron Demons is the name of the rival club, however, they weren’t currently at war with them. Raven stops the MC at the side of the road because he sees something. It is a naked, beat up badly woman. So he calls on Panther and Freud (medic) to help him out. Panther is the Sarge at Arms. Realizing it was a body dump, Raven knows they have to get her somewhere safe fast if she is going to pull thru. They take her home without incident and Freud works on her. They save her life, but she is in really bad shape. When Raven and the rest find out what happened to her and why, they are all upset, with Raven & Freud being livid. I fell in love with the Fallen Angels because although they are part of the 1%, they have honor and they want to do something about this, but they know they need a plan of action. Learning about the Fallen Angels and the past in the book, was fascinating and heart breaking. Taylynn, the woman that Raven and the MC saved, her past made me cry a lot. I’m totally in love with Dax, who is one of the prospects. lol. Raven, Freud, & Dax gain Taylynn’s trust as time goes by, but there are things that trigger flashbacks for Taylynn. That made me cry as well. But, there are fun and funny parts too. As well as romantic and steamy ones, as well as scary ones and parts that are graphic and ‘payback’. That last one appeased my vengeance and bloodthirstiness as well. I loved this book and can’t wait to see what happens next.

Fierce Heroine who Never Gives Up
Written by Suek on 24th May 2025

This was a great MC book about an abandoned beaten broken women, Taylynn, whose found on the side of the road by Raven and some of his crew from the Fallen Angels MC club. Raven, President of the club, spots her out of the corner of his eye after a club run in another territory. We learn eventually the Taylynn was held by The Iron Demons to payoff her father's debts. She was treated worse than an indentured servant both in manual labor and sexual acts so demeaning it is beyond the imagination. The story of how Taylynn recovers physically and mentally from that experience is one of hope and fortitude. The Fallen Angels are complete opposites in how they treat woman. They are all kind and sensitive to what she'd experienced. But it is truly Raven that teaches her to trust again. His patience and determination to heal and feel safe again was amazing. He gave her space when needed and provided protection in his silent presence. Their romantic relation felt organic and was sweet. The author does a wonderful job of giving the reader enough information about Taylynn's hellish life without going into too much detail. She is subtle but let's the reader imagine the horror our poor heroine suffers before meeting the Fallen Angels. Excellent book and that surprise ending really separated this story from this popular genre.

RAVEN AND TAYLYNN
Written by Gkp2460 on 24th May 2025

Fallen Angels MC book 1 is Her Avenging Angel and is my first read by this author. It's Raven and Taylynns story and it's quite a read! This story is very well written with characters and a storyline that'll completely engulf you from the beginning. Taylynns story is absolutely heartbreaking but she gets everything she deserves when Raven and his club take her in and protect her and get vengeance for her. Then there's that ending! This new/new to me author has taken readers on quite a journey with this one! I can't wait for book 2!

I loved how he saved her after finding her on the side of the road. The way the he and the MC surrounded Taylynn and took care of her and helped her heal from her experience. Great story.

What a wild ride! This is the first novel I have read by this author but it will not be my last. This novel did not disappoint. I love a good MC novel and this novel checked alot of boxes for me. From the first chapter this novel pulled me in and held on tight. My heart hurt for Taylynn and all that she had endured to be left for dead beaten and broken by the side of the road. I loved Raven. I loved how he saved her from a horrible beating after finding her on the side of the road. I loved watching Taylynn lower her walls and defenses and begin to trust and open her heart to him. I loved watching them fall in love. I loved how protective he was and how he was willing to do anything to prevent anything hurting her again. So good, what a wild ride. Loved it!

This is a first book for me from this author and it was so well-written. I enjoyed every moment of this book. The way the MC and Raven surrounded this woman and took care of her and helped her heal from her experience. There is nothing sweeter than an alpha man who protects and makes his woman feel safe and taken care of. I loved every moment of this read and I could not put it down. Of course the author had to finish with a little shocker so now I am anxiously waiting for the next book. I really enjoyed this book it is very well-written and I did not feel like anything was missing. This is a must read in my book!!

Emotional Read
Written by Danee on 24th May 2025

A beautiful and emotional story about healing and recovery but also with some triggers. After Taylynn is found on the side of the road more dead than alive, Raven finds her and takes her to his MC and helps her heal and recover from the severe abuse. She has not had an easy life and what happened to her is because she had to pay off her father's debt. Despite everything, she is strong and yet innocent. A beautiful story about healing and processing things in the past and despite everything still finding happiness.

Make sure to check TW on this one. While it’s referred to as memories and not on page, there’s some very dark things that FMC survives. Well written with a strong plot, this romance does end on a bit of a cliffhanger.

Raven and others in his MC find Taylynn on the side of the road beaten and left for dead. She’s been with another MC where she’s been “paying off” her father’s debts. Wasn’t sure if she went from the pan to fire when she woke up but slowly she got to know them and learned that they were good-ish men. It’s a sweet slow burn tale with a HEA for them and a cliffhanger for the book end. I’m not sure when the next book comes but the story was good enough that I will have to check back and see what’s next for the Fallen Angels MC

Her Avenging Angel!
Written by Mary on 24th May 2025

This is the first in the "Fallen Angels MC" series and does end with a little bit of a cliffhanger. I could not put this story down until the bullets fly. I am eager to move to the next one. The story is about Raven and Taylynn. He is the President of the MC. She is alone in the world, has been abused and almost killed. Raven, and his MC brothers, are on the way back from a run, when he discovers movement on the side of the road. It is a women that been beaten, discarded and left for dead. This story is a slow build that is not overly long but completely sucks you in. It might have a few triggers and deals with some dark and nasty subject matter. I love Raven and his gentle giant ways. What was done to "his" little one is horrible and heartbreaking. I cannot wait for the next story! Who will this one be about?

Not sure how I felt about this one.
Written by Jes7s7 on 24th May 2025

This felt like an insta-love which was ok but had a lot of missing parts. Not sure of I saw a TW for some of the things Taylynn went through but the tellkng was so vague it may not be needed for all. This ended on a bit of a cliffhanger or HEAFN which is not my favorite and I hope to read the next one as it lt has now sparked my interest. I would also have loved to know why Taylynn was with the Demons it was stated something to do with her father but not more was shared. I did enjoy thebread and Raven was the absolute best.

Her Avenging Angel
Written by Angi5252 on 24th May 2025

For the first book in this series, it started in tragedy and ended the same way. There are a few trigger warnings but this is a story of healing, love and kindness in the midst of violence. It is hard not to feel compassion and awe of Taylynn. She most definitely was a surviving warrior. Raven was kind and patient. Their love story was so full of patience and understanding. This is an amazing read. I can’t wait for book 2, I have so many questions about the way things ended.

MC
Written by Kris08 on 24th May 2025

Raven is the ultimate MC hero. Soft and squishy on the inside for the right woman. He was toast the minute he found her. Poor Taylynn…. at the mercy of a rival MC because of her dad. ‘Paying’ his debts off, left for dead and so damaged, I wasn’t sure she would ever get past it. Their story was difficult to read - only because I wanted her to heal. He was all in, but was limited by her boundaries. This was a very slow-burn and it’s much appreciated. Our heroine didn’t just get over it and we were given a much more realistic and plausible story of recovery, finding strength and finding love. Loved it. Couldn’t put it down until that last page was turned.

Her Avenging Angel is the first book in the Fallen Angels MC series. It is a fantastic start to this series with tons of drama, action, and twists that include a surprising cliffhanger ending. The characters are engaging and seem so real and relatable. You care about what happens to them. The storyline is compelling and pulls you in from the moment that the MC finds something horrendous in the Iron Demons MC territory. I could not put the book down and read it in one sitting.
