Curvy Women Wanted, 25

Leah’s had enough. When an immature bully asks her out via a letter, she confronts him. She’s expecting a joke, but he seriously wants to go out with her.

Blake’s messed up. Since the moment he realized he was in love with Leah, he’s been in a state of panic. To make sure no one else dated her, he bullied her. Now, he’s done running from his feelings and wants her to know exactly how he feels.

Leah is determined to avoid him, but he’s not going to give up, showing her an all-new side to him that she doesn’t expect.

When he proposes, Leah is blown away. He refuses to let her go, promising her a lifetime, but Leah has to get through this moment right now. Will she take a chance on forever, or will she walk away in fear?

Excerpt:

“Nah, there’s only one hot babe I want to see.” He took a drink of beer.

“Do I need to take your car keys?”

“I’m only having one beer,” he said. “I’ll have soda for the rest of the night.”

“Suit yourself.”

“Here, let me take your jacket. I’ll be back down in a minute.” He took her jacket and headed upstairs, adding to the pile on the bed. After making his way back down, he didn’t find her in the kitchen. He walked outside to where she stood at the edge of the pool, drinking a beer. John was talking to her.

Closing the distance, he smiled at John, who smirked at him. “What are we all talking about?” he asked.

“Nothing,” John and Leah said in unison.

“I need to use the bathroom.” She put her beer down and as she walked away, he picked it up so no one could mess with it.

Leah was new to the party scene and he had to keep her safe.

“Dude, you’ve got it bad.”

“Do you want to tell me what you two were talking about?” he asked.

“Sure, we were talking about a science paper because we had nothing else to discuss. This is all awkward for everyone, her included. I get that she means a lot to you, man, but you’ve got to give up, or show her you mean business.”

“What do you mean?”

“Go kiss her. Stop looking for excuses. What the fuck was it this week at lunch? I got the text where you wanted me to randomly dare her to kiss you.” John shook his head. “You need to get your head out of your ass. Bullying her was bullshit, but playing this part is even more so, and it’s so damn weird to watch. You’re a grown-ass man. You can be a gentleman and get your point across without being a dick. If you excuse me, I need a drink.”

Blake still held Leah’s drink.

Seconds later, she came out. Her long hair cascaded all around her face and her cheeks were a little flushed. She had a brand-new drink and she smiled when she saw him holding the same one in his hands.

“You’re so sweet.”

He had to make a choice. He’d been trying all week to figure out how to get her to kiss him, when the truth was he had to stop making up excuses. Closing the distance between them, he cupped her face.

“Blake, what are you doing?”

In answer, he slammed his lips down on hers, kissing her. He pressed their bodies close together, making her spill her drink, which wasn’t his intention, but it happened. Her hands went to his arms, and he paused for a split second to see if she was pushing him away.

She wasn’t. Sinking his fingers into her hair, he tugged on the strands and she gasped, arching up.

That was all it took for him to plunge his tongue into her mouth, tasting her. She met her tongue against his.

She was everything he knew she’d be and even more.

Nipping at her lips, he pulled away. Her eyes were a little closed, but he became aware of their audience.

She opened her eyes, her cheeks going beet red. There was a slight frown on her face and he hoped she wasn’t thinking about the times he’d been a complete and total ass to her.

“Let’s get out of here.” He took her hand, ignoring the spilled beer. Someone else could clean it up, and it wasn’t like it would be the worst mess to happen.

Coffee Time Romance

Leah has spent 3 years being bullied by Blake and now he passes her a note asking her out on a date. She tells him no, but what happens when he is determined and shows up everywhere she is at, and will not give up? She is waiting for him to humiliate her as he has always done in the past. Blake has loved Leah for 3 years and was too afraid to tell her so he bullied her so none of the other guys in their school would date her either. The only problem is he did too good of a job because now that he has the guts ask her out, she says no and does everything she can to get away from him. He is never going to give up; he will follow her forever. Blake realizes he made a mistake by bullying the girl he loves because now she does not want to date anyone including him. She is looking for a way out of town and leave him and the memories behind. Blake takes one last chance and gambles for it all, but will Leah believe he is changed, or will he forever be her bully? I love this story because it shows young love which can longer be denied. The characters are perfectly crafted to draw the reader in and root for their happily ever after. A sweet love story full of first love angst and uncertainty. The writing of Ms. Crescent is superb and offers readers a lifetime of what ifs and possibilities for the future. I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Leah and Blake and recommend it for the romantic at heart who wants to experience never giving up.

Blake has wanted Leah all through school but was scared to let her know his feelings so instead he turns into her bully. His idea that if he bullies her, no other guy will go near her. Epic backfire commences and he comes to regret what he's done. I love how strong Leah is and how she doesn't forgive him right away. He knows he has to grovel to gain her trust. No OW drama and not really a lot of angst, I enjoyed this story a lot. And of course, the epilogues make the story so much better as we get to see them years later.

Best of her bully redemption stories

Probably my favorite of Sam Crescent . I'm a sucker for a bully redeemed story so often the bully goes to far that the grovel isn't enough not so with this one and H makes him work for it too.

Nice quick read

I enjoyed this quick read. I think this story would have been great if it was longer. I know time passes but I would have liked to read the bully’s groveling and her slowly forgiving him. Story is in both characters POV

Great Story

I love the Curvy Women books and this is no different. Blake is not your run of the mill bully and Leah not your usual heroine. I loved the story and will let you read the description. Just know the book was awesome!!
