They've been friends for five years but can they be lovers?

Andy has wanted Sara ever since she moved into the same apartment building—but he doesn't do commitment. When Sara begs him to pretend to be her boyfriend for her brother's wedding, Andy agrees even though he knows it will be bad for him.

Sara is the youngest in a rich family and they will stop at nothing to get rid of Andy. He must prove his love and fight her family, along with a rich ex, in order to claim the woman he loves. Has her family already ruined her one chance at finding love?

She rubbed her arms in an attempt to heat up.

“Here, I found this.” Wrapping the towel around her arms he pulled her in close and started to dry her.

“You’re wet as well.” She began to unbutton his shirt pushing it off his shoulders. He wore nothing under his shirt. His chest was bare to the touch. She ran her hands over the hard muscled contours of his chest. Sara couldn’t help but touch him.

Her mouth went dry as her body became aware of where they were. They were alone and wouldn’t be disturbed in the rain.

She leaned in and kissed his chest above his right nipple.

“What are you doing, Sara?” he asked.

Gazing up into his dark brown eyes she was held captive by his stare.

“I’m living dangerously for a change.” She pushed the towel away then pulled the shirt she’d been wearing up over her head.

Sara stood before him in her white silk bra and a pair of frayed jeans.

“You don’t have to do this,” he said. “This will change everything between us.”

“Don’t you want it to change?” She took his palm and placed it over her breast. “I want to, Andy.”

He stared where his hand lay on her flesh. She watched as he licked his own lips before pulling his hand away. For a split second she felt disappointment, and then he cupped her cheek leading her backwards. She stared into his eyes trusting him with each step back she took.

Andy closed the gap between them sinking his tongue into her mouth. Her moans echoed off the walls. She didn’t care. Her heart pounded inside her chest. The need to be close to him consumed her unlike anything she’d ever known.

The bed in the far room felt too far away. Andy took her down to the floor. “Our first time together should be in a bed,” he said.

“I don’t care. I want you, Andy. A bed, the wall, the floor, I don’t care as long as you’re inside me. I need you.”

She reached for the buckle of his belt as he worked on ridding her of her jeans. They worked together until they both lay on the summer house floor without any clothes on. Andy tore the underwear from her body and simply gazed down at her. She didn’t hide from him. He was perfection as far as she was concerned. She glanced down to see his cock was thick, pulsing out in front of him. Her stomach tightened with need. She wanted to feel him inside her, and she’d waited long enough.

“You’re more beautiful than I imagined,” he said. His fingers glided over her skin making little goose-bumps erupt all over her body where he touched. She never thought she could feel so alive from his touch alone. Sara craved his touch more than she craved her next breath.

Loved it!

Andy and Sara have been friends forever when Sara needs a favor from Andy. The lines between friends and lovers get blurred. Sara and Andy have outside influences trying to keep them apart. I like how Sara tries to go on with her life when it things start to crumble. Sara was such a trooper and Andy finally had to take a stand or face the consequences. This was a really good story and I'm wondering if we will hear more about their friends!

Awesome read!

I loved this book! I loved the characters and the storyline! I love to read books where the relationship between characters is not forced and develops naturally. I love the cat and mouse struggle between the main characters - it kept this book the page turner that it is. I would like to pretend for you but I can't - this book deserves every star available.

I absolutely adored this book. Loved the characters and the build up to their relationship especially, and the delicious dynamics at work between them all.
