This is a very good, steamy and erotic short and quick read about Lucy and Joshua, her father's best friend. Joshua is sitting at his club watching a scene unfold when he recognizes the a sub in distress and trying to signal for the Dom to stop. The ones that are supposed to be there to prevent this from happening are now where to be found. Josh steps into to put a stop to the abuse. What he is shocked about is, who the sub is. It is little Lucy, his best friend's daughter, and the one Josh has been lusting after. Fire ignites and passion ensues but what happens when the judge finds out? I enjoyed every bit of this short story.

I love the author's stories and this story is no exception. It's a story that hooks you from the first page. Lucy and Joshua were great together, they have chemistry and attraction but both haven't taken the step to do something with it. A wonderful story and whether they finally give in to their feelings for each other you will find out when you read their story.

A new author to me. I liked the author's style. There is a lot that left to the reader's imagination to fill in and I wished that there was more details about the main characters' past history. However, within the confine of a short story, it was quite an enjoyable read.

I adored Doris O'Connor's work and was excited to see this release from the late author's backlog. This features feisty FMC who owns her sensuality and isn't afraid to explore it and ask for what she wants. What she wants is Joshua, one of her father's good friends and an experienced dom. Though sparks fly, Joshua holds back out of respect for Lucy's father and due to the age gap. That all changes one eventful night. This is a wonderfully written book that combines heat and plot. I enjoyed it and wish more books could be like this. Highly recommended.

I've been a huge fan of Doris O'Connor's for a long time so when I saw this, I jumped right on it. It's a very short (very short) story featuring Joshua and Lucy. Both have been attracted to each other but never acted on it until now! Steamy and so good, I really enjoyed it. I miss Doris's story so much and I'm always going back to reread my favorites. She is definitely missed in the book world!

Very short story by our missed author. It is her direct to the point romance of two people that were destined to be together. Joshua and Lucy have been attracted to each other from the start. Yes, it is taboo but if they are happy, that is all that matters.
