This fast-paced and smooth-flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with action, suspense, drama and romance. The author brings the story to life with well-written scenes and details that paint vivid images and capture the imagination and the well-orchestrated action and suspense sense are exciting, believable and draw the reader deeper into the story. The characters are strong, compelling, easily related to and grab the reader's attention from the very beginning and spine tingling tension builds throughout the story as Maria struggles to find away to get out of mating with a council member who makes her skin crawl and also to keep her two mates safe. The attraction between Maria and her two mates radiates lots of heat from every page and the frequent sex scenes including m/f/m, m/m/f, m/m scenes scorch the reader with a fiery inferno of passion. The mating however is no way assured and provides lots of drama and fireworks that spice this story up even more. The reader can't help but get caught up in the drama and the escalating danger as some of the original council members take things a little--okay, a lot--too far. Some surprises along the way keeps readers guessing and the intriguing concept and characters ensure they want to know more. While the story is short, it is an exciting romance full of passion that captures the heart and has the reader falling for two very sexy and dominant alpha men.

I enjoyed finally getting to read Maria's story. This story had so much suspense packed into it. It was a really good story and a very emotional one too.

Wow. This book was hot, delightful and super well written. I loved this book, from start to finish. A couple of places I was a little lost, but I think that might be because I didn't read the first two books? Maybe? Anyway, no matter it wasn't enough to cause me issues. Loved this book. My first by this author and not my last.
