The Partners, 2

All Aspen has ever wanted was to be the perfect Partner, wife, and mother. When she is finally assigned to her Partner, she couldn’t be happier. But everything is not as simple as she would like it to be.

Mason isn’t sure he made the right decision when he applied for a Partner but now an extremely attractive young woman is in his house, and he has no idea what to do with her. Add in the complication of a man neither of them knows, and things are bound to get complicated.

Every time they clear one hurdle another is thrown in their way and this Partnership may have been doomed from the start.

Be Warned: MFM menage

Excerpt:

It feels like a blow to the chest, those words out of her mouth. Does she mean that I have to decide who gets her and who doesn’t? How the hell am I supposed to do that?

“Aspen, honey,” I start, slowly trying to keep my emotions in check. “You need to explain what you mean.”

For a long moment, she is silent as she gathers her thoughts.

“I’m not sure how it will work but maybe you can figure it out. Make up a schedule or something so I know what I’m supposed to do.”

I can see she is trying to look confident but in truth, she looks a little lost. “A schedule?” I ask.

“Yes.” She nods. “We are Partners and I should be doing my duty.”

“You mean sex?” I ask bluntly.

Aspen blushes before lowering her head and allowing her hair to cover her face. She nods but I’m not having her hide from me. Slowly I tip her chin up and look at her closely.

“What do you want, sweetness?”

“I don’t know.” She sighs in exasperation before standing to pace the length of my study.

It’s only then that I realize what the hell she’s wearing. A light-blue button-down shirt that came to mid-thigh and not much else. My cock reacts to the sight of her lean legs as she moves back and forth, tenting the blanket.

I knew the moment she knocked I should have sent her away. I never should have allowed her into the study while I knew I was naked beneath the blanket. But I would never turn her away, especially not when she came to me on her own.

I leave her to pace for a couple of moments as I try to discreetly adjust my hard-on before I speak. “Aspen, this isn’t something I can decide for you.”

Her face falls as she stops to stare at me. “This is so unfair.” She stomps her foot. “All I ever wanted was a Partner and a family of my own and now I’m being forced to choose between the two men I love.”

It takes her a moment to catch up to what she just said. She slaps a hand over her mouth but it’s too late, the words are already out there.

“You love me?” I ask softly.

Steamy and fun!
Written by Ash J on 28th Oct 2023

I really enjoyed this read. It was super steamy and I really liked the characters involved. I do wish we really more about what happened when the fertility house took Aspen and how Mason and Jaxon made sure Aspen stayed with them. I hope we get a story about Sierra next!

Book2
Written by JRW on 28th Oct 2023

This is the second book in the series. I enjoyed this one as much as I did the first. It’s not too long so it goes fast. Aspen is the focus of this story. She is matched with Mason, then because of a mistake, she’s matched with Jaxon. After a few delays, the HEAT rises. There are a couple of hiccups along the way.

Short and steamy novella
Written by Sarah ES on 28th Oct 2023

This book was a little unexpected. It was modeled after a world ending phenomena similar to The Handmaid’s Tale where it is increasingly more difficult to have babies. Short, sweet, and to the point with a little steamy romance.

Perfect Partners
Written by kdavis on 28th Oct 2023

This story was just too short. Aspen has been in the Fertility House since she was 15 years old. She has been matched with a partner and is escorted to his house. Mason is not sure he made the right decision when he applied for a partner but when Aspen gets there he is happy that he was matched to her. They have been slowly getting to know each other when they find she's been matched with a second partner. Jaxson takes one look at Aspen and knows he is going to fight to stay there with her. Everything is going really great with the three of them when Mason gets told that there was a mistake. He picks up Jaxson and they head to the Fertility Home. Do Jaxson and Mason get Aspen back? I wish that the story would have been longer. It was interesting, sweet, and steamy. Great story.

Could Aspen find happiness?
Written by Anne H on 28th Oct 2023

Could Aspen find happiness. Aspen had known that she wanted to be a wife and a mother from a young age. So when her time came to meet her partner she was happy but nervous, and this is where she met Mason. Mason is older and very handsome, and he made her feel welcome into his house, but nothing else has happened. And it made Aspen question if he wanted her. But this is when she found out, there was a problem because she had been matched up with another man, and he was coming to live with them, and his name was Jaxon. How was this going to work?? I must tell you, there is another twist in the story, but I’ll leave you to find that one out. I really liked Aspen but she just had no self-confidence until she knew that she was wanted and then she just bloomed she glowed. Mason and Jaxon are very different, but they come together so well for her needs. I really enjoy this book and I am enjoying the series. Can’t wait for the next one.

Partner Predicament!
Written by Mary on 28th Oct 2023

This is a short and quick read that I really wanted more of. It is set in a world where a virus made a large portion of women sterile. So the fertile ones are trained for future with their chosen partner or partners. Usually, the partner has been selected based on their probability of actually conceiving and their rank or importance. This is the second story in the series and can be read as a stand alone one. This story is about Aspen, Mason and surprisingly Jaxon. She has been matched with Mason and is delivered to his home. Mason does not want to overwhelm her and is a wonderful and kind gentleman. When the shock of an additional partner is shoved in the mix how will they all three cope. Then a mistake has been discovered. This is a short and quick read that is very sexy, sweet with a couple of unexpected twists.

Best of a Tricky Situation
Written by JennT on 28th Oct 2023

Aspen is excited to meet her new Partner and be the best wife and mother that she can be. Mason is excited to meet her as well, but then they find out that Jaxon has been matched to Aspen as well. In a world where matches are made using science and computer algorithms, how will these three make a future? I loved how these three found a dynamic that worked for them - it was so darn hot! A great quick read.

Too short
Written by RahiaLeight on 28th Oct 2023

It's not a bad tale, it just seems to end rather abruptly. It's good. It moves quickly. There's a big hiccup in their world and then it's over. Just like that. Seems like there could be so much more to it. That being said, it is definitely an on-the-go read that you could finish during a car ride or a wait at the doc's office.

Was a fast paced read but not too bad. They faced some challenges but overcame them. It was an interesting concept and they ended having some chemistry. Like I said it was easy though.

In a futuristic world, the human population is steadily decreasing due to fertility issues. Aspen is matched with Mason and they start getting to know each other when it is discovered that she is matched to Jaxon in addition to Mason. Jaxon moves in they explore their relationship. Things are going well until it is determined that Aspen was sent to the wrong match. This was a great quick read. I had only read the shifter books by Jade Marshall and enjoyed this book just as much.

the perfect match
Written by Slvrdlphn on 28th Oct 2023

Having a perfect match preselected for you is like having a fated mate. Except, instead of someone divine making the selection, it is a system that does it for us. I'm glad things worked out for Aspen, Mason, and Jaxon. To be honest, I was waiting impatiently for the story to get to that point where the three of them figure out a way to make it work. I was not disappointed. This short story was so beautifully written. Thank you for writing it, author. I love it! And now I need to read the first book to learn about Skye and her men. :D Sounds like a winner.

Well written and fast paced story
Written by LBing on 28th Oct 2023

This is another entertaining story for the series and this time it's Aspen, Jaxon and Mason's story. I loved that Mason allowed Aspen time to adjust to life outside of the House of Fertility. She, however, saw this as rejection. She knew what she wanted. Enter Jaxon, another perfect match but he knew right away that she was it for him. However, drama ensued with the threat of breaking up this newly formed family. I found this a page turning read but I'd definitely recommend reading book one first. Expect a fast paced read full of intrigue and interesting and caring characters.

Aspen, the FMC is assigned to Mason and Jaxon and together they must determine the dynamics of their relationship.
