However, having been born and raised in Ashburne for five gens, Burke knows the legends. Well they bit him, and he changes a bit. I like that they get together, I dislike what the legend did, but I understand it. Plus, it Skeeved me and freaked me out. However, since everything does work out because they talk, I’m happy with the ending. I think the legend should’ve been more explained earlier in the book, instead of a quick glossing over. That’s why it didn’t hit my awesome read radar. But, I do want to know more about the town and the people and the legend. Plus, about the earlier instances.
