The Romance Reviews
TOUCH OF SIN by Carlene Love Flores is a beautiful Rock'n Roll Novella with hot sex scenes, tortured musicians and a young, loveable heroine. Sarrie is hired by the manager of a famous rock band to follow a small, up-and-coming act to assess them for their suitability as the opening act on the tour. She is excited and worried; this is the chance she has been waiting for. Her family is dependent on her keeping and succeeding in the job. Lonerby, the act she is following, is made up of Luke, the moral centre, his two brothers O and Noah, and a lead singer. Luke holds a strange fascination for Sarrie from the beginning. She is attracted, and so is he. But does he only like her because he knows his professional development will depend on her report? Or is it to thank her for her aid with the trouble his brother causes? The book is a hot, quick read, and well worth it. The characters are believable and enjoyable, their emotional reactions realistic and captivating. The sex is sensual and sweet at the same time, enough detail to let you grab for the ice water without the only too common triteness. If you like novels containing rock bands, their high jinx and the women they fall for, go buy this one.
