My Gosh! Over a dozen writers from multiple genres all around raunchy romance! There really needs to be an #audio version. The cover is what got me to be honest.. The content kept me flipping them pages though. I hope they will do an audio version of this collection of stories. It was long but I would sure audiobook it for a more immersive feel.
There are 13 stories in this book and I enjoyed each one of them, it would be fabulous if there is a 2nd book to some of the stories.
The book is filled with amazing shifter stories and they were one by one amazing. There were a few shifter stories I did not expect, but they ended up being my favourites. I would definitely recommend reading them. One story a night ~

I loved this collection of stories so much! Not only did it give me an insight into different worlds and characters but it was super sexy and super spicy. I love novellas and I love shifters so this was absolutely perfect. I didn’t dislike any of the stories and loved the varieties of types of shifters in this book. Not that there’s anything wrong with wolves and dragons, because I love them, but it was refreshing to see panthers, eagles and others that weren’t typical. This was actually my first anthology and I found a lot of new to me authors I will definitely be following. I will be posting a more in depth review on goodreads, but average 4.5 stars for the collection.
Wow, super sexy and hot! There are a lot of great stories in this collection. And honestly they are all really great. Of course everyone will have a few favorites that stand out, but they are all really good. Definitely won’t be disappointed.
This anthology is packed with shifter stories that’ll introduce new characters, old favourites and some great authors. Fray by Raven Hush is Book 2 in the Club Fray series; Rafe, the owner of club Fray, is instantly smitten by Willow. Can predator and prey make it work? This one was plenty spicy, which I quite enjoyed. Unlikely Mates by Jade Marshall has Rowan and Kira coming together against the odds; this story had a nice redemption arc, and I enjoyed the side characters as well. Dragons Don’t Share by Lily Harlem has one wonderfully possessive dragon and his fated mate - who’s engaged in an arranged marriage to another. The grand gesture was completely wild, and I loved how he gets the girl in the end. Love at First Scent by Sarah Marsh was such a fun read. Caro and Craig were such a sweet couple - I loved their happily ever after! Foresaken Omega by Winter Sloane is a story of strength and acceptance with a wonderfully dramatic ending. The other stories in this anthology are just as good as the ones I highlighted. Overall, a great set of stories.
His Curvy Mate-This is one of numerous short stories in this book. It is well written and very entertaining. The Alpha wolf, Zander finds his mate in the most unlikely place. Willa, a human, was not what he expected but the attraction was intense. There is danger and it has to be dealt with, which adds additional excitement to the story. I enjoyed this anthology. I read a few from some of my favorite authors and a couple from authors i have never read before. Most of the stories I enjoyed and have reread. There is a couple that I felt were too fast and one that was very confusing to follow. However, with there being several stories I still enjoyed the anthology. I really liked the new story from Jade Marshall. I hope she does a story for the beta. I would reccommend buying this book.

Wow what a collection! All these authors together... can't get much better! Well yes it can because this was all about mates, fate and shifters... those alone are going to draw you in! Each and every story stands out on its own and I'll admit I did devour this in one sitting as I just couldn't put it down! Each book was a full romance and you got a satisfying ending with each couple which is always a must for me when it comes to romance as I hate a cliffhanger or open ending... it just leaves me needing more! This is an Anthology I will definitely be revisiting again in the future! I cannot wait to hear more from these authors!

So good. Love the different shifter stories with a few authors that I'd not read before. There are shifters who find their mates in the most unlikely places. There is such a diversified collection with Bear shifters, Dragon shifters, wolf shifters, you have spice, curvy woman, tension, action, and soulmates. I found so many stories that I enjoyed and authors that I already read. Great collection.
This is a really good collection of paranormal shifter romances. The collection includes thirteen novellas that are fairly quick and short reads. I enjoyed everyone of the stories and excited about some of them. I loved "Fray" by Raven Hush. I was the second "Club Fray" story and is about Willow and Rafe. He stole my heart and she stole his. Such a touching story. That one I was excited to read because I have read the other two stories in the series. All of these stories are great though and I consider them stand alone reads. They are touching, heartwarming, sweet and steamy ones. I love the characters and the plots are interesting and intriguing.
I love when Evernight does an anthology. There are always several authors I'm familiar with and a new surprise author that makes me read their backlist. This is a solid collection of paranormal short stories. Strong heroines (Kira as one) and good novella storylines with depth. Some links to other stories but all standalones. I loved this book. Some of these authors I've read and some are new to me but each story drew me in and was a great read. I love how each story had an alpha male and their fated mate and held my attention until the end. Each story was steamy with wonderful characters and I read one each day. Awesome bundle!

These female mates had been through the ringer and has traumatizing histories from the pack blaming the female for the parent's mistakes, a fellow pack member not understanding the word no, and having a crazy stalker just to name a few issues. Typically I'm not interested in books with the "alpha male" or "shifter" trope, but I've become more interested in exploring different genres, and wanted to give this one a fair shot! I figured a book with a ton of different authors and stories would be the best way to go about that. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself thoroughly engaged with this book! Each story has it's own tone, it's own shifters (a quokka?!), and it's own "feel." The world building and tension in each story kept me turning the pages, and the characters were all fairly relatable on some level. The female characters weren't helpless save-me types that I expect when I read "alpha male" and the authors did a fantastic job of putting together a gripping anthology!

I LOVE themed anthologies. I especially love when authors I follow are in an anthology where I’m not familiar with all the authors. I find the possibility of reading and finding a new author to follow very exciting. I jumped at the chance to read an advance copy of Alpha Male, the theme *alphas!*, *shifters* was right up my alley and the author line up looked very promising. Absolutely wasn’t disappointed! There’s a nice variety of stories here, with the feel and styles offering a lovely mix. I’m pretty sure you can find at least a couple of titles to scratch your Alpha itch and the possibility of discovering a ‘new to you’ author to dig into. Great collection! At first I was interested in this anthology because I saw that Sam Crescent was one of the authors listed, but I enjoyed this entire collection. It was fun to read so many stories by authors that were new to me. It’s a one stop for Alpha male paranormal romance. The stories are entertaining and the characters are well created. Overall, a great paranormal romance set worth getting!
This book is SO good, in depth worldbuilding, tension, action and my favorite, SPICE! This is a fated mate book featuring a curvy and highly intelligent girl named Wila who is an absolute sweetheart and then you have Xander who's rough around the edges but is soft like butter when it comes to his mate. This was such a page turner I was fixated the entire time.

This is a collection of short stories with growly alphas and the heroines who deserve the best. Each story is unique and not all of them garner the 5 star rating, but as a collection, it's all very good. I'd say at least 75% of them deserve the higher rating, there was only a couple I would rate at 4 stars and mostly to do with grammatical errors/wrong names.
This paranormal romance anthology is a great place to start if you haven't read any of the authors before. Each story is about an alpha male but that is where the similarity ends. Get yourself comfortable with a cuppa & enjoy as each author takes you on a journey. Definitely worth 5 stars.

This is the first anthology that I have read and looked forward to reading ALL the stories. There are no boring stories. I will attempt a short review of each story. Fray Raven Rush The first story in this book. When you have an opening like the one in this story, you know you are in for a good time. This is a shifter story with all new kinds of animals and it is worth reading and a worthy story to open up all the others. Unlikely mates Jade Marshal Oh my! my!! Once you start their story you are hooked. This is a refreshing enemies to lovers story. This is told in a perspective that keeps you longing for more. It is an interesting story which will keep you hooked until the end. Luna Hunted Helen Walton Interesting read. Loved how the story flowed. The past was re-told in a way to help us understand the present and where the story started. Highly recommended. Dragons don’t share Lily Harlem I love the setting so modern day that you can almost feel like you are there. My first dragon shifter story-it was a bit trying to wrap my head around but it is totally worth reading. Return of the Alpha Beth D Carter A good read. Great storytelling. Good plot. Wonderful characters. I loved the vulnerability of the h and how the love story unfolded. I feel the beginning of other stories with the other characters in the story. Love at first scent Sara Walsh Crazy love. A jealous would be lover. I enjoyed this story as with all other stories in this collection. His curvy mate Sam Crescent &Stacey Espino The descriptions in this book would make you moan. It is a sexy, steamy read one which is meant to work up the reader. I love the vulnerability of the h and the take charge stance of the alpha. Forsaken Omega Winter Sloan Oh my! I love this story. I love the anticipation at the beginning and the build-up to the revealing of the H. As the story continues, so is the flipping of the pages. A definite page turner and a must read. Belonging Rose Wulf The introduction started in a way that just suggests you might have an idea of how the story will go but it didn’t work out like that. The writer used the suspense to keep interest in the story. I enjoyed it especially how all the events unfolded. Wild Hearts Faedra Rose This is different from all the other paranormal stories I have read. Took a while to settle into but once you understand the intricacies of the story, it becomes easier to read and understand. The Alpha’s private dancer Cooper McKenzie Another sweet read. Fast paced. Steamy. There was no dilly dally as the author knew exactly what to do to make the story interesting. Just His Luck Kait Gamble Like all the previous stories, this was an interesting story. An unlikely pair with a love story involving a bit of suspense before the HEA.

In each book, the women come to town and they have trouble following them. Each Alpha will do what he must in order to protect his mate. Some of the ladies are a little sissy and give their mates a hard time at first but things have a way of working out so they work together. This was a wonderful collection and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys stories about shifters
Alpha Male is a great collection of shifter stories from some of Evernight's most popular authors. I read all the stories and enjoyed them all as well the authors had their own special take on shifters. My favorite stories were Claimed by the Alpha by Lila Fox and His Curvy Mate by Sam Crescent and Stacey Espino. I'm a huge fan of Lila Fox's Daddy series and her MacLean series so it was nice to read a story from her from a different genre. Sam and Stacy just write really good shifter stories together and His Curvy Mate did not disappoint. If you are a fan of shifter romance then this is the collection for you as most if not all of these authors have other shifter stories that the reader can get into.
If reading stories about alpha males is your thing then you will devour this collection of novellas. There is a variety of story lines to keep you intrigued and hooked as you move from story to story. You may even find yourself a new author that you have never read before.
This is a review for His Curvy Mate from the anthology Alpha Male. This book had it all fated mates, action, and spice. This story was original and had characters that were complex and had depth. I enjoy reading this trope and love finding authors that write the trope right and both Sam Crescent and Stacey Espino do not let me down. Willa is curvy, intelligent, beautiful, and a melt into the shadows type of woman. Xander is a take no prisoners, OTT, TDH Alpha. I loved the heat that these two characters brought in this book. I had to fan my kindle a few times. The length Xander went to protect what was his had me swooning. Willa was such a sweet character and such a pleaser. I loved the originality of this book and can't wait to go back and read this again. It had me captivated and sad when it was over.
Alpha Male is a good collection of stories by multiple authors. I like how you can sample stories by other authors who you haven't read before plus some of your favorites. Possessive males and their mates make a highly addictive collection of romances.

Alpha Male is a collection of stories filled with shifter novellas. Most of the novellas are about wolf shifters, but there are a few stories with a panther and dragon shifter thrown in. This is a shifter anthology romance. Each story is relatively short. All the stories are full of alpha males who fall hard for their woman. Most of the women don't make it easy on the guys either. I picked this book because I'm familiar with Sam Crescent, Raven Rush, Lila Fox, Jade Marshall, Stacey Espino, and Winter Sloane. This book did introduce me to new authors. It did introduce me to dragon shifters which I personally haven't read before. This is a great collection if you like these type of romances. In this collection you will find fated mates, bully romances, rejected mates,all different types of genres. It is a good comprehensive and steamy collection.

So when I agreed to review this book i didn’t realize the number of books contained in this one. There were several books about alphas claiming their mates who were clueless or thought of as less than, but they all had two things in common, HEA’s with hardship of one sort or another, and lots of steamy spicy HOT romance!!! Each story was amazing in itself but combined together into one book was an overwhelming steamy spicy love story after romantic love story. I absolutely adored this book with the several stories combined into one book. Although, I am glad I began reading it when I did because it took me several hours to complete!! Great job to all the authors involved in writing this great compilation of Alpha male shifters who discovered the women the were meant for and didn’t let anything or anyone stand in their way!!

I enjoyed this shifter anthology. I liked sampling the many different authors I have never read before. It was nice to read a couple of these short stories in between longer novels that I have been reading. A welcome break! If you like shifter stories you will definitely enjoy this compilation.

I loved all of these stories! They all kept my attention the whole time! I found some new authors and I can't wait to read more of their books!
A big fix of alpha males from wolves to eagles to bears finding and convincing their mates to stay. A wide variety of scenarios and heat, from slow to a bit kinky, and a great group of authors, maybe a few new favorites. If you like the genre, a great choice.
This is a truly great collection. Almost every single story was perfection and most were sweet stories with light action so they were great to read over a week. I really hope a few have future stories in the series, they didn’t have cliffhangers but not everything was settled
I love when authors get together and do things like this. You get so many different POVs and wordings...it really is a fun and fascinating read. It makes me want to seek out these Indvidual authors and give each of their books a try and expand my collection.
W-O-W .. I really loved this series and all the stories that this book had to offer. I feel that this book really offered the perfect amount of spice and is perfect for a trip or for someone who wants to escape to different worlds in a short period of time. Since I LOVE. shifter stories this book was right up my alley and after reading all these stories theres definitely a few authors that i am more than happy to check out! Where to begin....These stories were AMAZING! Even though each one was only a few chapters long, they perfectly captured the plot and characters' details. Trying to take "breaks" between stories was impossible as I couldn't wait to read the next one. This book definitely kept me reading into the early morning hours!
An anthology filled with shifter novellas from some of the popular Evernight Publishing authors. Most of the novellas were about wolf shifters but there was a dragon shifter tale and I think a panther? I liked some of the novellas better than others such as His Curvy Mate by Sam Crescent and Return of the Alpha by Beth Carter which was a second chance romance between a "latent" wolf shifter and the returning alpha of the pack. I also really liked Luna Hunted by Helen Walton about an evil shifter who kills Kara's father when he gambles her away in a card game. Kara goes on the run until she finds her fated mate. I also really enjoyed Jade Marshall's Unlikely Mate about a bullied omega who left home only to come back for her father's funeral and find out that the alpha is her mate. Lastly, Claimed by the alpha by Lila Fox, has human Brenna on the run from a stalker and when she stops in a shifter town she discovers a whole new world including her mate. Fated mates and bullies are favorite tropes of mine so that's probably why these stories were the one I enjoyed the most.
When I read this book, I remembered another anthology published few years back named " Alien Alphas" The authors in that anthology were all new to me at that time but now I am an avid reader to most of them. Granted, that anthology was about alien worlds. I started read this anthology " Alpha Male" ( paranormal, shifters mostly ) knowing only Lily Harlem, Same Crescent ( the latter shared her story with Stacey Espino) . Their style is still the same and I enjoyed their stories. I was also pleasantly surprised with other stories like the ones written by Raven Rush, Lila Fox & Cooper McKenzie. I am not downplaying the other stories in this book. They are all interesting and entertaining. There are thirteen stories and I am sure each reader will end up with a few new authors to follow from now on. Read it!.
I was absolutely shocked at how great this book was. Each story was fantastically written and easily sucked the reader into their world. I have definitely found some new Authors that I can't wait to explore!
Love this anthology they are so many awesome authors included in here and the stories oh wow they are just amazing. I love every single one of them couldn’t decide which one was my favorite since every single one were just awesome to read.
A variety of great alpha’s and their mates in this anthology that doesn’t disappoint. Some of the stories kept me glued to my kindle, as I devoured as much as I could.
A great collection of paranormal stories that are long enough to et a good feel for the characters but short enough that you can comfortably read most of them in a single session. There wasnt one that I didnt enjoy and a few with some really great surprises and very unusual shifters . A brilliant gift for yourself or anyone you know who loves paranormal romance stories
I loved this anthology as it had several authors I love reading. Sam Crescent and Stacey Espino, Sarah Marsh, Cooper McKenzie............they've all written great little stories. If you like paranormal with some really hot shifters, this is the anthology for you!!!!
There are 13 stories in this book and I enjoyed each one of them, it would be fabulous if there is a 2nd book to some of the stories.
The stories are really good. The one thing that I wish, when story over list the next book if in a series.

This book has great short stories in it. The alpha men are super hot and know what they want. And the female Characters are badass. I would highly recommend reading this book
There are 13 stories in this book, all involving alpha shifters. Each story is unique but all guarantee a happily ever after.

The story this author weaves is magical and completely rounds out all the other stories as well. Definite 5 stars from me!
It is really impossible not to enjoy this wonderful, thrilling, captivating, intense, intriguing and suspenseful collection of alpha male stories. Sit comfortably, prepare your snacks and get sucked into this paranormal world. I am suffering from the lack of sleep because I just had to read it at once.
