Sage had stopped at a gas station and attracted the attention of a couple of creepy guys. They follow her until her car breaks down and then they attack. She runs into the woods to escape and comes across Jacob. He takes down the two attackers and then cares for Sage. This book has an interesting plot related to the two attackers and their connection to the gas station. It made the story more interesting.
