Excerpt:

He snorted and came down beside her and propped himself up on an elbow. He cupped her cheek with his palm, lowered his head, and took her mouth with a hunger that stopped her breath and reasoning.

Her eyes slid shut as his mouth moved down and stalled on her neck for a moment, where he sucked and nibbled at her until she was thrashing on the bed.

He cupped one of her breasts and brought it up to his mouth to suckle her rigid nipple before he gently bit down. She groaned at the sensation as she slid her fingers through his thick hair to bring him closer.

She felt her wet heat slide out of her, covering her inner thighs. She knew she should be embarrassed, but she couldn’t remember why she should be. Every rational thought she had in her head had disintegrated.

This is another emotional addition to the series, although it's Kaleb having the insecurities, not our gal Myla. He's been wounded in the past and his scars are holding him back from commitment to Myla. She's so beautiful to him and the attention she gets from that really reinforces his thoughts :( His story is heartbreaking and I couldn't help but root hard that he would see that he can move forward in his life with Myla by his side. Thankfully, they were both able to move past their traumas and get that HEA. Definitely engaging with some spice ;D

Book 37 of the Daddy Series can be read as a standalone. The scarred ex-cop and the woman he once left behind. The world building was well developed and solidly drawn. The plot was well written and paced. The characters drove the storyline and they were very compelling and complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!

Really great read! I was so mad at Kaleb for letting his insecurities get the best of him but he redeemed himself in the end. My heart broke for what Myla had been through but it was beautiful how strong she was.

Myla met Kaleb at one of her work outings. She was so drawn to him and felt so safe when she was near him. Kaleb had some major insecurities because of scarring from an explosion. He was jealous of all the attention she got for her beauty and no matter what she said he still felt insecure. When her past comes back around and his feelings once again are tested will they be able to stay together or will they cave in to the issues in their relationship. This is a great read and addition to the Daddy’s Little collection from Lila Fox.

It’s my favorite of the whole series. It’s emotional, compelling, raw, honest and captivating. The way to their happy ever after is hard and Caleb’s story was heartbreaking, but that made the story even more beautiful.

I love this book! Myla and Kaleb go through so much. The past traumas leaves Kaleb leary of moving forward in his life. Myla wants him but he can’t get over his inner demons. When they finally get together it is great!

Daddy's Little Temptation is another book in the Daddy series by Lila Fox. This is a truly emotional read. Both the MCs are carrying emotional baggage that continue to put obstacles in the way of their relationship. it was hard work but I was happy to see them get their HEA.

Myla, a paralegal at a local law firm, is out for a weekly after work get together with friends/co-workers. While at the table, she notices a man sitting alone and introduces herself. Kaleb is a police officer, studying to be detective (due to a somewhat recent injury). They are both instantly attracted to each other. Kaleb is pretty sure that Myla is a sub, which is great for his dominant tendencies... There is a lot of backstory for both characters and good character development. Communication is an issue with both Myla and Kaleb. But luckily, they get there- eventually

A very emotional read about a couple in the beginning of a relationship who are both carrying a lot of baggage that needs to be worked through. There is mention of attempted rape in the past and an attempted rape on page.
