Daddy Series, 22
Alexa’s life has been one disaster after another. She takes it day by day, but it seems to worsen no matter how hard she works. She thought she'd finally hit rock bottom when she's put up on a stage to be auctioned off to a room full of men. She has no clue that it's a night that will change her life forever.
Gavin takes one look at the young woman on stage and knows he wants her. When a sadist starts to bid for her, he knows he’ll do whatever it takes to claim her as his. He never realized how deeply he could feel for someone until her. Now, he just needs to keep her away from danger.

Excerpt:
“Let’s go.” Jerry took ahold of her arm and pushed her out onto the stage.
She turned back to him and put her hands on her hips. “You don’t have to push me.”
He flapped his hands at her. “Go. Stanley is waiting for you.”
She turned to look for Stanley when whistles started. Looking around, she put her hand up to shade her eyes against the glare of the lights.
“Alexa, girl. Come on,” Stanley said and waved her over. Stanley had worked for Jerry for as long as she could remember, and she adored him. He’d always been nice to her.
She took a few steps and wobbled but threw her arms out and caught her balance. She’d never worn three-inch heels in her life, and she was terrified she was going to trip and humiliate herself even more. Knowing she wasn’t pretty like the other girls who did the auction, so that night she’d spent more time curling her hair and putting lip gloss and mascara on, but she still thought she didn’t fall under the title of pretty.
Stanley grabbed her arms and lifted her onto a padded stool they had on stage for her.
She smiled at him. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome, dear. Now, don’t be scared. It’s only dinner.”
“But some of the girls … you know … have sex, don’t they?” she asked.
“Yes, but that’s not you. Let’s get started before you shake to death.”
She giggled and nodded. The breath left her lungs when the lights in the room brightened, and she looked out into the audience and saw at least thirty men staring at her.
“Oh, my God,” she whispered. She suddenly felt faint.
“Don’t look at them,” Stanley said and quickly diverted her attention. “Look over at Thomas behind the bar.”
She nodded, inhaled, and turned her head. Then she smiled and waved when the bartender waved at her. For some reason, it helped settle her.
Stanley put the microphone to his mouth. “Good evening, gentlemen. This here is Alexa. This is her first time, and as you can imagine, she’s very nervous.”
Several men murmured words, but she didn’t understand them over the pounding of her heart. She was pretty sure the organ was going to jump out of her chest at any moment.
“She’s twenty-three and as sweet as can be.”
She smiled up at him. “Thank you.”
Stanley held a hand over the microphone. “It’s the truth.” He turned back to the audience. “She loves animals with a passion and likes to volunteer at the local animal shelters. She also likes long walks, movies in theatres, and baking. Her brownies are to die for.”
The audience laughed.
She yanked on his shirt sleeve. “Hey, I thought we were only going for dinner,” she whispered.
“You are. Settle down. They just like knowing a little about you before they bid. It also gives me a chance to tell them about the women who will … put out. If you know what I mean.”
“I don’t.”
He rolled his eyes. “I know.”
Someone from the audience yelled, “One hundred dollars.”
“Who said that?” She squinted and shielded her eyes to see who it was but couldn’t.
Stanley grunted. “Holy cow, I haven’t even finished with my spiel, and they’re bidding. This has never happened before.”
“One hundred and ten,” another voice yelled.
Stanley patted her back. “Oh wow, this is amazing, girl. There’s already a bidding fight going on.”
“For what,” she asked.
“For you.”
Her eyes widened. “Me?”
Stanley grinned and nodded before he turned back to the audience and started dealing with the bidders. The bid was up to six hundred within a minute, and she couldn’t believe it. Men really wanted her that much? She looked off to the side to see her uncle rubbing his hands together with a huge smile on his face.
“One thousand dollars,” a deep voice rang out, making the room suddenly silent.
She felt Stanley stiffen.
“Do I have one thousand and twenty-five?” Stanley yelled out.
The room stayed silent.
“Going once, going twice…”
A new voice bellowed. “One thousand five hundred.”
Several people gasped.
Stanly relaxed. “Going once, going twice, sold to number fifty-four. We’ll send Alexa out to you. Please go to the bar to pay.”
She grabbed his arm. “Wait, I have to go right now?”
Stanley snorted. “Yes, you know how it works.”
He helped her down from the stool and held her until she had her balance before letting go. She wobbled over to the side and behind the curtain.
Her uncle was actually giggling he was so pleased. “Oh, wow, I never expected this. You had six or seven different men bidding on you, girl. Do you know how much money we could make if you did this every time?”
She put her hands on her hips, scowled, and then yelled. “This will never happen again. Do you hear me?”
“Now, Alexa…”
“I’d like to have my woman, please,” a voice said behind them.
She spun around so fast she fell and would have ended up on her ass if the man hadn’t caught her.
“Easy, honey.”
“Who are you?” she asked as she stared up at one of the most compelling men she’d ever seen.
“I’m Gavin. I’m the one who bought you.”
She felt a fiery blush overtake her face. “I’m not a…”
He grinned and nodded. “A hooker?”
She nodded.
“I know that, honey.”
“So, we’re just going to dinner?”
“Probably, but let’s see how the night goes? How’s that?”
She narrowed her eyes but nodded.
Gavin looked down at her feet. “The first thing I want is those shoes off you.”
“We can do that.” Jerry grabbed her arm to take her to the back.
“Hold up.” Gavin tightened his grip on her. “I’ll take care of her.”
“Fine, Mr. Barcina. I know she’ll be in good hands.”
I loved this short story of a first time Little and her Daddy. Alexa found everything that she didn’t know she needed with her Daddy Gavin. For this to be a short story there was just enough of everything a little action and a lot of love.

Gavin, an ex cop wins her and immediately sees her as his future little. The story is a fairly short and quick read with a touch of excitement and suspense with a great ending.

This short but entertaining story was fast paced and enjoyable to read. I thought the author did a nice job of making the story feel realistic given the circumstances and I was entertained by their believable chemistry. Nicely done.
Alexa works for her uncle at his bar and one evening when one of the girls doesn't show for the auction, he is having he put Alexa up in her place. Gavin is a former cop and is at the bar to relax before going home. When he sees Alexa up for auction and the guy bidding on her he knows that he has to win her. Once he wins her and they leave its not long before things heat up between them. Gavin knows that Alexa is the woman for him. However, will they get their happy ending or will trouble come their way? This is a great story that will pull you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Another great read by the author its so well written as always the characters pop of the page i was so engrossed in there story of love.
Gavin and Alexa are sweet as a Daddy and his little. Alexa so needs a Daddy like Gavin, no idea how she survived before him, she has been sheltered and not big world savy.
This was a pretty good story, for me it was a little slow at the beginning for being such a short story but once it got going it the story was really good. This story is about Gavin and Alexa. Alexa works at her uncle's bar where he holds an auction when one of the girls calls out her uncle has Alexa take her place. Gavin had gone to the bar to unwind until the innocent girl was put up on auction and he realizes that one of the people bidding on her is not a good guy. So Gavin out bids and wins. Winning th bid starts a slow process of introductions to a new life for Alexa, but she gets accustomed to it pretty quickly. Until the bad world comes back to haunt them.
When Gavin happens to be at an auction at the bar he see the naïve, very innocent niece of the bar owner Alexa on the stage. When he discover how she lives at the mercy of her uncle and his wife, Gavin takes her home to keep her safe. His feelings for her surprises him and he is fiercely set on to not let her out of his sight and to keep her away from danger. Alexa is truly innocent but attracted to Gavin and feels so safe even if he is so much larger than her. This is instalove at its best! Even if Alexa is a Little and Gavin a Daddy, the DDlg play is at a minimum and the dialogue is charming and witty.
A fantastic read. Delightfully hot and steamy. Great characters, and a well written storyline. Would recommend. Will read more from this author.
This is my first story by Lila Fox and I really enjoyed it. Se meet Alexa, an innocent young girl who helps out her uncle by putting herself up for auction. Gavin, an ex cop wins her and immediately sees her as his future little. He takes things slow with her and becomes very protective of her. Then one day she gets kidnapped and he does whatever is needed to get her back. This story was steamy and a very enjoyable read!
I love DDLG books. This one is no different. You have an innocent woman, that gets intimidated by making decisions and meeting new people; then you have her daddy, who helps take care of her, makes the decisions and make new friends. These stories are just so touching. This one included. Big sweet daddy swoops in to help his little live her best life. Alexa is the perfect example of little innocence. And Gavin, acts as all daddy's should and puts the care of his little first.
Alexa and Gavin's story is sweet with steam. This is a great quick read if you are looking for something with a hint of angst and drama but mainly heat and relationship. There were a few moments that made me laugh. Very entertaining read.
Daddy's Little Prize, Lila Fox's 22nd entry in her Daddy series, follows Gavin and Alexa's relationship journey and is a solid read. After 22 books, there's a certain formula to these stories but just enough variation to hold the reader's attention. I find these books to be comfort reads and check on a weekly basis for a new entry. I enjoyed this book and forward to the next!
My first book by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. Writing and storyline was great. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and there chemistry. Was such a super read I recieved a free copy via Booksprout and I’m giving my review freely and honestly

This story is steamy, does have daddy/little play and is touching and sweet. The story is a fairly short and quick read with a touch of excitement and suspense. The story is about Alexa and Gavin. Alexa is pushed into being a part of an auction at her uncles bar. She is very shy, innocent and sweet. She does not want to do it but her uncle says all she has to do is have dinner with the winner. Luckily, Gavin, and not Branden, wins the auction for the prize. He is completely taken in by her and becomes tender, caring and protective of her. When he sees where she is living he acts and takes charge. She is the perfect man/daddy for her. I like the chemistry between them. The story is good and the characters are likable.
I've been really enjoying these short stories by this author They can all be read as stand alones Great characters and loving the storytelling
I am not usually a fan of “little/daddy” romance but I think the author did a good job writing this book. I was happy the story was not focused to much on the little kink but on the relationship between the two characters. I always keep in mind with a shorter book that the author can’t give the the story an in-depth plot or give the characters complicated backgrounds. If you want a pleasant short romance read with a touch of littles kink this story is for you.
This is a continuation of a series but can be read as a standalone even though characters from previous books are mentioned. The characters are good and the storyline has enough heat and a little angst to move the storyline along.
Alexa’s sweet innocence and Gavin’s dominate protective side makes for a good read for this couple. I like that Gavin is supportive and makes sure Alexa’s not to hard on herself since her relatives don’t have anything good to say about her looks. They have the hottest time together and the love connection between the two easily flowed.
A nervous Alexa reluctantly allows her uncle to persuade her onto the stage in his bar to be auctioned off to help raise money for charity. Wearing a dress that shows more than she’s comfortable with and perched on unaccustomed 3-inch heels, Alexa wobbles onto the stage where she instantly captures the heart of Gavin. When the bidding heats up, Gavin moves decisively to ensure that Alexa winds up safely in his arms, beating out a competitive bid by a sadistic man who also wants the innocent beauty. Alexa quickly responds to the love and care Gavin lavishes on her, but danger lurks close by. This is a very sweet tale that allows us to catch up with past characters in the author’s Daddy Series but can be read as a standalone.
There is a bit of danger and suspense, but that is expected when you interact with the peripherals of the mafia. A short story with an enjoyable happy ending and some spicy parts to keep it interesting.
