This is the 28th book in this series and this is Tessa and Nate’s story. Nate loses his good friend in the military, and decides to visit his family, where he is instantly drawn to Tessa, his friends’ little sister. Tessa has a lot on her plate dealing with loss and heartbreak. This is a good story which is a quick read, with family, friendships, twists, intrigue, romance, emotions, challenges, witty banter, and love, which leads to an enjoyable page turner. Tessa needed Nate so bad Wow it’s so easy to misunderstand when you hear a one sided conversation. Nate is trying his hardest to protect Tessa but Tessa sees it as unwanted feelings on her side. But can these two make it?? There is so much more to this story too. It’s a fantastic read. My heart goes out for Tessa she has been through so much pain, but Nate is the perfect man for her. His feels are so strong for her. It’s a fantastic read and I couldn’t put this book down.

This was a sweet and hot continuation of the series and I love how caring Nate was for Tessa. She had reason to doubt him, and his intent, but thankfully, he was all-in for her and worked hard to clear up those misunderstandings. I really enjoyed how this story unfolded and that there were challenges to show that good communication is necessary in every relationship. Can't wait for more from this author!

Nate, her brother's army buddy shows up and saves her and her dying mother from the neighbour Gary. Tessa feels protected and safe when he is around. When her mother's funeral is over he takes care of everything. Nate says she belongs with him but she doesn't know if he really wants her or if he just feel obligated to take care of her. All her insecurities is getting to her and can she be Nate's little girl. Nate loves his little Tessa and wants to keep her loved and safe but can he convince her.

Tessa is a sweet little who has lost her only family members. Nate was one of her brothers’s military brothers. He knows that she’s his little girl very quickly and he wants to take care of her forever. Due to some communication issues the couple has some rough patches. Lila writes this series with great insight into their emotions and how important the physical side of the relationship is for both parties. I always look forward to anything she writes and hope she continues this series.

Tessa and trying to take care of her dying mother while they both are grieving the loss of her brother. Nate was in the military with her brother and came to check on them. The moment he lays eyes on Tessa he knows that she is it for him. However, a creepy neighbor is trying to be shady with her and her mother which has Nate kicking him out. Nate steps in to help Tessa and her mother and when her mother passes, he is there to support Tessa. Will Tessa take a chance on Nate? Can they find a way to be together? This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Sadly there are misunderstandings and heartache to go along with the deep attraction and developing love. Nate will do whatever he needs to protect, care for and keep her. She's been thru so much recently, Tessa deserves all the love he wants to give her. Overall, I liked the storyline and characters.

This is a short and sweet story that is a stand alone read in the "Daddy" series. It has connected characters from previous stories but can be enjoyed with out reading any of the prior in the series. It is a Daddy/Little themed story about Nate and his teammate and friend's little sister, Tessa. One of his other friend's little is worried about Tessa so Nate goes to check on her. What he finds is her mother about to take her last breath and a man that wants to own Tessa. Of course, Nate steps up and takes charge. He and Tessa start a relationship but miscommunications and insecurities could just be their undoing. I enjoyed this story and like the characters a lot. These littles sure stick together and the Daddy's due to. They are super protective of their girls. This is a fun read with steamy passion and some angst.

Nate ends up moving Tessa in with him but they have some misunderstanding and Tessa leaves. I hope Tessa makes Nate work hard to win her back. Story was cute and steamy.

I had never read a book like this before and I really did enjoy it. I really found the storyline to be endearing actually. If you haven't read DD/little type trope you may need to read more thoroughly to make sure you understand how the storyline is going. But once I got into it I didn't want to put it down--it was that good!

Almost a continuation of the previous book in the series, the story begins with Nate checking on the sister of a fallen brother in arms. Instant attraction follows and Nate assumes responsibility for Tessa. Misunderstandings add a plot twist to this sweet story.
