I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. In this book we meet Jessica Arnolt & Gideon Rothschild. Gideon has to get married in the next 6 months to be able to keep his pack. He believes he not only found a woman he could possibly marry to fulfill the will but might just be his actual mate. Jessica knows from the moment she sees Gideon she is meant to be with him. The thing is he is being promised to her sister according to her father. Can these two find a HEA or will others make sure that never happens? Another amazing hit out of the park by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

What a fun quick read! I have read the other novels in this series and enjoyed them. This novel did not let me down. From the first chapter I was pulled back into this novel and it kept my attention throughout the entire novel. I loved Jessica's character. She had been thru so much with her family and never lost her sense of self. I loved Gideon and Jessica together. Their chemistry was so good! I loved that he waited for Jessica. Such a fun read! Once I started I didn't want to stop. I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next. So good!

The blurb does not do this book justice! This book is going to suck you in from the start and keep you hooked until the end. Gideon and Jessica are perfect for each other. She fits in his world in ways she never fit in her own. The fact that she still tries to be honorable to the people that matter despite the way she was treated is amazing. I love that Gideon both enjoys her feisty behavior and just enjoys her as his mate. It’s a great read with steamy moments, fun bits and a HEA that’s truly worth the read

This is the fifth story in the "Carnal Lust" series. It is a fairly short and quick read that can be enjoyed as a stand alone one. This story is about Gideon, Jessica, a will stipulation and fated mates. Gideon must marry to be able to remain the alpha of his pack. Leo, his closest friend, suggest Bambi as a business deal only. When Gideon meets her he scents his mate but he is confused because Bambi is not his type. When he goes to her house he finds his true mate. Jessica falls hard and fast for the dog and all the promises; she has finally finds her home and since of belonging. Is is all a lie? Such a good read with some action, excitement, passion and love.

This may be a quick read, but Lila Fox packs so much heart, chemistry, and satisfaction into these pages that it never feels short on story. From the very beginning, I was hooked. Jessica absolutely shines in this book. She brings a level of honesty and authenticity to the story that makes her instantly lovable, and she gives the romance a depth that makes it even more rewarding. Then there is Gideon, the quintessential alpha male who has waited sixty-five years to finally find his destined mate. Watching him find the woman who is truly meant for him was both emotional and deeply satisfying. What I loved most about this story is that it gives readers exactly what romance lovers crave: passion, heart, a little drama, and characters you genuinely want to see win. The family dynamics add another layer of enjoyment, and there is something especially satisfying about seeing the “good” sister and cousin come out on top. The happily ever after feels earned, fated, and impossible not to root for. I absolutely loved this story. But he will need to convince her, aS nobody looks at her when Bambi is around.

Great quick read! Gideon must take a mate to retain his alpha status and it seems hopeless. A chance meeting with Jessica has him finally meeting his fated mate. Except Jessica won’t give him the time of day because she refused to be second best to her sister. I loved Jessica and how strong she was despite her family treating her so poorly. And that she doesn’t let Gideon get away without groveling.

Gideon is Alpha of his pack and his grandfather left a condition in his will - marry before you are 65 or you will not be alpha anymore First, he is matched with Jessica's sister - Bambi, who is as caricature of beauty and shallowness. Got to confess I laughed a little bit at those scenes, she is as transparent as she is insufferable He has the luck to meet Jessica, Bambi's sister, and she is his perfect match! I loved Jessica - she is a strong character, fantastic personality, very resilient Everything goes well till Gideon's cousin - his nemesis - creates trouble I found this novella entertaining and a fun read, Gideon and Jessica are a great couple.

This is a great twist on a shifter book. Gideon has scented his mate but he is really nervous that it’s the awful woman Bambi, what a great surprise when he realizes it’s her sister Jessica. Bambi however, has laid her claim on Gideon and he and Jessica have to be creative to get Bambi out of the way. This book is short, steamy, funny and a great read.

Jessica is dealing with being in a family where she is second best to her sister. When Gideon starts paying attention to her she doesn't understand why. Just when things are starting to go well she finds out about the will. Can Gideon convince Jessica it was never about the will but about them as a couple. This is a quick read and some really good spice as well.

This was such a fun read that sticks it to the nasty family that Jessica has to deal with. She's so down to earth, practical and filled with inner strength. She needs it dealing with her shallow and mean spirited father and sister. Gideon is on a time-crunch to get mated and he's had no luck finding any gal that appeals. He certainly didn't think too much of Bambi but there was a scent around her that really snagged him. Following up on that scent, he goes to their home and meets Jessica. She is his fated mate but with Bambi thinking he's hers, there's some drama ahead for them, especially the fact he's a shifter. I loved Jessica's cleverness when it came to fending off her sister. So good! Expect to get caught up in the drama, emotions, connection and hot spice as Gideon and Jessica work their way to a fab HEA. Good fun!

This was an interesting take on a shifter finding his mate. At first he was worried it was the horrible woman he had met but it was her sister that he had been scenting. I loved how Jessica would alway tease and challenge Gideon and it made for a read you laughed your way through as well as thoroughly enjoy as these two made the journey to coming together. This was well written as well had heat all the way through to keep you engaged all the way to the end.

Her sister (the OW) is horrible. Gideon was a bit hard to get in the beginning, but I loved his wolf. And then, when Jessica came into her own… I loved her OW takedown. A really fun read.
